OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Couldn't get to Day 21 test today due to snow - is borderline if I'll be in the country for it next month as may fall on my snowboarding week. Hopeful though.

zen1980 · 06/02/2009 21:11

Hey everyone,

Beanie - Hope your ok, you know where we are if you need us god only knows how much you have supported the rest of us x

Jammy - have my fingers crossed that next month is your month and we can get BFP
together

Comma - i relaly understand how you feel, im just about getting there 3 weeks today after erpc x

Shayerhol - i glad your hopeful, most of the time thats all we need but takes so much energy

Claire - hope we have the BFP we want next month and make it our month xx

Hey to Blackrod, Pinkie and Glasto and anyone else ive missed.

Did ov test and got a positive but not sure if up to ttc as both full of a cold and really feel nervous whether its too soon this month already. Whether it would be successful or we could be so lucky so quick again, i just dont know x

blackrock · 07/02/2009 11:01

Hope you are feeling better today Zen. The snow here means we are stuck, as cannot get he car out of the road!

A quiet, possibly romantic evening in with a film and a warm fire could be on the cards.

I am increasingly able to visualise the CBT and feeling so much more bouyant, and better. I have even stopped biting my nails, eating my fingers, chewing my cheeks. It has made me realise what a tensed up old bag i have been recently.

Thought I'd better put myself back at the top again. Made GP appointment today for next week when DH is back. He'll prorbably just laugh at us cos we've already got 2DDs. I just need to know whether there is any chance of another one or whether we should just get on with it. I know we're really lucky to have our 2 DDs.

Hope everyone OK. Got a bit drunk at the weekend and went to the Keane concert...at least I think I went to the Keane concert...all a bit of a blur!

I hope you get on OK with the docs Jaamy. Even though you have two already they should surely still investigate?

Well, today was a day that made me give an ironic snort of laughter - the lady at work that was due her baby a week before ours would have been due came back to work from maternity leave. And here I am still trying. Oh well.

Jaamy · 10/02/2009 12:35

Yes Claire but your friend is back at work now. How will she be when you are waving goodbye to your colleagues as you leave for your mat leave! Think you deserve a little treat today.

I have added three days.....can feel the desert grass blowing across the dusty land. Hello, is anyone around, feels a bit quiet in here. I am about to light the fire and make some hot chocolate.

blackrock · 12/02/2009 18:47

How did you get on Jaamy?

Jaamy · 12/02/2009 19:57

Hi Blackrock. It is quiet in here, isn't it. Hope everyone is ok.

I've made an appt with GP for next week but realised I might have to change it. Forgot that we will need babysitter if DH and I both go. D'oh!

blackrock · 13/02/2009 19:20

Hi Jaamy, that's the sort of thing I do on a regular basis

I also need to book up to see GP, as it has been over a year and a half of trying now. It is quiet, I guess some have been trying for a while without success. It does feel disheartening when you wait month after month I guess. Also hope all are ok.... and back beside the fire toasting marshmallow or supping the odd glass of wine soon. Take care

Jaamy · 13/02/2009 20:28

Glad I'm not alone, Blackrock!
I know what it is...everyone's off on romantic long weekends for valentines day. Wouldn't it be lovely if we get some BFPs after this weekend. Good luck everyone! ope you all have some nice romaticing!

ClaireDeLoon · 13/02/2009 21:13

Hello, I'm still here just nothing interesting to say

We aren't doing a romantic weekend this year, well we will, just at home not going away.

ShayeraHol · 14/02/2009 17:33

Sorry folks - bit tired of it all at the moment TBH. Missing the test last week threw me, as it means another month of waiting - plus with the timings I might not be in the country for the next test window. All that combined with needing to move house to a more expensive area in the middle of a recession is just a bit too much! Better to be depressed quietly at home than loudly on internet.

Mollie - what is it you do? Don;t answer if you don't want though but lots of luck either way!

Shayera looking on the bright side maybe (hoping for you!) if your place has fallen 25% and you need to buy more expensive that has fallen 25% you will end up with a smaller increase in prices? I guess it all depends on whether the area you are moving to has dropped by as much as the area you are leaving. Good luck though, its a stressful time and some non-mumsnet hugs coming your way.

Blackrock how was your romantic night in?

How is everyone else? Haven't seen Beanie for a day or two (on this thread, have seen her around) I hope you're OK.

I'm going to sit this month out (TTC & MN both) I think - need a bit of time away from the constant failing, and as I'm off snowboarding in 3 weeks would be a bad month to succeed anyway. See you for the next cycle - hope loads of you have got BFPs by my return!

zen1980 · 16/02/2009 20:29

Hi everyone,

Well me and DH resumed 'relations' this weekend ha ha didnt want to hold out unitl AF arrived as at the moment feel like I could be waiitng weeks and weeks. Was 4 weeks fri just gone, does anyone have any idea how long could be waiting? Do you think there is the possibility I could get pregnant now before af??

Hope everyone had a good weekend x

beanieb · 16/02/2009 21:24

Hi all, it's me! Back from my flounce.

ShayeraHol - hope you're getting some rest and hope to see you back and you're looking forward to the snowboarding.

zen no advice or answers to your questions but hope you're ok.

Thanks to everyone for being so kind.

Period is due Wednesday and judging by the mood I have been in today it's not going to stay away. I've been trying to do other things, get my house in order and just look forward to booking the HSG. I did get a nice message on my mobile from the woman at the clinic the day I was given the news about my test results, saying I should go ahead and book the HSG when I get my period and then we'll discuss what happens next. She also said to call any time if I need to talk.

I've stopped using the fertility monitor this month, I figure it's just causing me more stress so am going to look forward and try not to start obsessing. Have also bought loads of Zita West pills, cut down on my drinking and have been making an effort to do fun things like Ice Skating.

Will be checking in to update my stats but am going to try not to rant and rage on here as much as I have been.

blackrock · 16/02/2009 21:42

Mollie...too many other distractions, a few tablets and some serious/amazing therapy! Romantic evening went well.

Full moon last week, first to coincide with my cycle.. trying not to get hopes up, their is meant to be a higher likelyhood? probably just an old wives tale/distraction.

www.metta.org.uk/yoga/moon_phase.asp

Shayera: don't stay away too long.

Molliemooma · 17/02/2009 22:07

Shayer Don't desert us for to long, take care and enjoy snowboarding
Beanie Lovely to see you back, will do my special stay away AF dance just for you if you like
Blackrock Fingers crossed for your moon theory
Claire For my sins I work in a jobcentre which feels like the centre of hell at the moment, too many people, with high emotions and very distressed, all they do is shout at us all bloody day!

Just a quick update as just got in and I'm knackered.

Basically the appt today was a big fat waste of time, we'd already had most of our test results by letter, stating they were all clear. We were waiting for one more day 3 and a genetic one from me and DH, but guess what . . they still haven't got those. So the registrar (not the consultant) sat and told us what we knew already, she also said that it's very rare for there to be a genetic problem so as far as she's concerned we are one of the statistics of miscarriage and we should just try again and hope for the best Thanks for melting my whole emotional year into one statistic love! I just knew that this would happen and had prepared myself for no answers but still feel very disappointed and frustrated. She has asked me to have a 21 day blood test as a few of these test results have shown no ovulation. She then booked a follow up appt for 3 months time, if we're not pg by then she will discuss clomid.

I am trying to look on the positive side at least we haven't been told we can never have children but I'm 37 this year, and feeling a little pressured to say the least. Also doesn't help when SIL is shedding them like peas and doing nothing but moaning about it
