OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Zen Lovely to "see" you, you are sounding so positive, just remember we are here if you need us
Shayer So glad you have decided to go to the doctors, hope you can get an appointment without too much hassle! No hopefully this cock up won't mean a delayed start for us.
Beanie Loving the new positivity, I've been trying to do the same this year, including not letting work stress me out (not doing too well with that one!) Sorry about BFN
Comma What a lovely doctor! Sounds like you had a chemical pg before, fingers crossed that it's not this time and your HCG levels are rising

herethereandeverywhere · 25/01/2009 16:39

Hi everyone,

Just typed a big long post that didn't work

Well the gist of the post was to say....against all the odds this month.....I just got a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!

You must be my lucky cyber friends, I've waited for so long for this.

I'm massively in shock and feel a bit sick (and guilty about the 2x half bottles of wine I had Fri and Sat...ooops!)

So I need some advice as I've just realised I have absolutely no idea what I do now!!!!

ShayeraHol · 25/01/2009 17:24

COngratulations herethereandeverywhere!

herethereandeverywhere · 25/01/2009 17:54

Thanks! I can't be;lieve iot. Just did a different test (boots this time First response last time) still BFP!

BUT - I've already started to scare myself witless as I have lower abdominal cramps (just uncomfy, not too bad) but with a focus on the left and I'm now terrified it might be ectopic - I'm sure it's just a reaction to the good news (it can't REALLY be happening to me can it?) - but still - I really hope it's safely burrowed in my womb (TMI?!!)

On the bright side - the tummy ache might just be the massive Maccy Ds I scoffed to conso;e myself about "not being PG again"...before I peed in a stick and got a shock (a wonderful magical shock!)

beanieb · 25/01/2009 18:54

OH congratulations herethereandeverywhere!

herethereandeverywhere · 25/01/2009 19:01

Hmmm, the BFP seems to have had an adverse effect on my typing skills!!

Can I just add this was the first month of sticking to Deanna (until I wnet away the day after my smiley OPK) and first month of pr-seed use. If you haven't tried it already girls then give it a go!

pinkie08 · 25/01/2009 19:27

Congrats herethereandeverywhere how exciting keep us posted

Molliemooma · 25/01/2009 20:47

Congratulations herethereaneverywhere I've heard such good stories about pre-seed I may just have to invest for next month. Make sure you chuck a lorry load of baby dust at us
Beanie

OP posts:
herethereandeverywhere · 25/01/2009 22:57

BeanieB so sorry - hoping that next month will be your month. Still such early days for me but I'm sending alll the cyber-space baby dust possible to you all - you're all so lovely and kind and deserve your own good luck and BFPs.

BABYDUST*

Pre-seed costs a fortune and comes in the most undignified squirty pipette things which make farty noises but it does make the ladybits nice and squelchy for your man (quite turned him on!) and MUST do something to help those little swimmers to survive....not sure they'll print that recommendation on the side of the box, good job none of you know me and DH in RL (I hope!)!!!!!

Still achy/crampy on and off so I'm not getting my hopes up and burning the always ultra just yet!

beanieb · 26/01/2009 10:48

I have some pre-seed somewhere, used it onece and I can confirm it makes delightful farty noises!

How you feeling today herethereandeverywhere? Has it sunk in yet?

Had my day 3 blood test (day 2 really) and hve an internal scan booked for next Tuesday. Am really hoping I hear about the HSG this cycle rather than next.

blackrock · 26/01/2009 14:13

great news here,thereand everywhere.

Fingers crossed for you beanie.

Comma2 · 26/01/2009 14:29

Congratulations Herethere! I am so happy for you!!! Don't worry about the aches and cramps, they are perfectly normal and most likely come from the ligaments that hold the uterus. They do start to stretch just about now. If it's not them, there are a ton of other things that can and will twinge and ache perfectly legitimately. You'll be surprised.

Sorry beanie to see you back on the list.

I have to call my doctor and don't dare to. Just don't want the official no, just rather have AF set in by itself, sort of. Those stupid cheapo-tests are not giving me clear results, but leave me hanging in annoying limbo.

On the good side, I had a bit of bleeding on day 9/10 that went away again, my boobs are bigger than usual (not a usual pms thing with me), I have milk again (sorry, possibly tmi), my mood is TERRIBLE and I spent Sat crying in the corner until DH took pity and me for cake at IKEA.
List all this for the bad side too, though.

ShayeraHol · 26/01/2009 16:55

Spoke to doc - booked in for Day 21 and assorted bloodwork next Friday (and hubby's going to pick up his little pot tomorrow which I find highly amusing ). Apparently my health insurance only covers the basic tests so they said best to go with NHS - suppose it would be too much to expect that work would provide me with that kind of benefit!

Hope it's all on the good side, Comma! Keeping things crossed

Hope you hear back about HSG soon beanie. Are they good about booking your tests in quickly?

I've also tried preseed, we get on with it quite well (and I've got the knack of non-fartiness!), also tried their non-pipette version which is more pleasant than most of the stuff on offer. Not that that's hard!

I'm going to read up on Deanna now if it worked for herethere!

ShayeraHol · 26/01/2009 18:49

BTW just worked out that if this month is my month, then due date would be my birthday. This amuses me

Comma2 · 26/01/2009 20:10

ugh, Doctor said negative....besides of being embarrasing cause hysterical on my side, I have PMS from hell....and I have to go give a lecture now and I hate all the students as well as my life....where is my stupid period? Help!

herethereandeverywhere · 26/01/2009 20:32

Hi all,

Comma, sorry it wasn't the news you wanted. Whenever I wanted my period to come the stress of it almost always kept it away. I know that being told "try to relax" makes you want to break someones face. So trest yourself to a favourite music/song/bunch of flowers/magazine/TV programme - whatever. I always retreated to a dimly lit bathroom for a bath in a fit of misery which actually always ended up relaxing me. So be kind to yourself, you've got the rest of the world to fight with, try to keep your body on your side (even when you think it's letting you down.)

Well ladies, thanks for the lovely messages and enquiries. I'm still pregnant (I think). I'm completely knackered and tummy still doing twinges - but not as bad today I think. I woke in the night to pee for the first time in living memory!!!! It's such early days I think I'll leave it for a week before seeing the doctor, I feel a bit silly saying my period was due yesterday and I'm pregnant today! We're calling it "the sand" cause it's only as big as a grain of sand at the moment.

Lots of love and luck to you all,

xxxxx

pinkie08 · 27/01/2009 09:35

Hi all,

Sorry comma that was not good news but i am sure you will get that gorgeous bean soon.(((hugs)))

I am pretty much out for this month as have started spotting. IVF starts when cycle starts properly although it sounds quite complicated but am sure they talk you through it.

Comma2 · 27/01/2009 14:42

Thanks Herethere and Pinkie.
I was really stressed out about the lecture I had to give yesterday; now its over and I feel fine again (also, period has started and that always blows PMS right away- I am grateful). Bit sad, because I still feel like I should be 2 months pregnant now instead of having to go throuhg ttc-against-time-nightmare but oh well. Nothing much I can do.

Good luck Pinkie. I cross my fingers for you.

ClaireDeLoon · 27/01/2009 23:03

Where are we all?

Sorry she got you beanie how are you feeling? I read your posts about your appointment, how are you and DP now? I'm glad he finally understands what it means. Lets hope you get your HSG through soon.

heretherandeverywhere many many congrats I hope all is going well for you!

What about everyone else?

I've not been around much just got to the point where I'm kind of accepting the way things are for us and going back to my thinking before I ever got pregnant, which was, as I said to my DP on the way to a friends DD's 1st birthday party, 'I'm not sure I want to have children anymore'. We hadn't been trying trying and little did I know if I'd tested there and then it would have been positive but I'm kind of evaluating life and our choices and wondering if we could cope without children, bizarrely I think I could cope better than DP. Anyway, ramblings but I hope it explains my absence!

beanieb · 28/01/2009 00:50

Thanks Claire I am still feeling positive and trying not to think of how many cycles I have been trying for. Have the internal scan booked for next Tuesday but am still waiting to hear from the hospital about the HSG. Might not get to have it this cycle.

HappyNewJaamy · 28/01/2009 10:36

Hello Lovely ladies!

Herethere - CONGRATULATIONS! I am so happy that you've finally got your BFP. The pains are normal - little bean is making itself all comfy in there. Try to take it easy and enjoy a bit of spoiling.

Zen - so for you. You sound very positive, though. Just wasn't meant to be this time round, hun. We've got a whole new year in which to get up the duff!

Sorry not been around much - been sulking! I was so sure we'd got it right over Christmas so when AF arrived the first week in Jan I wasn't best pleased. Still, on 2WW now so am trying to be positive again.

Have just kind of scanned the thread so feel free to shout at me if I've got the wrong end of the stick...
Beanie and Shayera - hope the tests show something tha will give you optimism.

lovley to hear that migola and bean are doing well.

Comma - glad to hear the students survived! It would be so easy to go and hide every month when we don't get the news we want. Sometimes it's a good thing that we have to carry on with the day-to-day things to give us a little bit of distraction. Hopefully won't be too long before you're asking one of your students to help you and your bump with your bags!

Mollie - roll on Feb for a lovely Christmas baby!

Blackrock - how are you?

So Claire - It's good to hear your ramblings - that's what we're here for. Sounds like you've decided to take it easy for a while? You don't sound too sure. Did you ever go back for your blood test results? Did I miss that?

pinkie - good luck with the IVF - how exciting. I'm sure they'll be able to answer all your questions and get you through it.

Ei - where are you sweetie?????

Have updated stats - hope they are ok, just added 3 days since sunday post. Herethere will leave you to graduate yourself and Zen - please add yourslef back on when you're ready to rejoin the madness.
