haha ya for neurotic ttcers! ugh, been having headaches for the past week....

could it be a symptom ??

Dalrymps · 08/04/2009 12:42

You never know! Aren't increased hormone levels during pg supposed to cause them???

Unfortunately, LAst time I was pg I read every single bit of info I could find on being pg so now I knwo too much about it all and therefore am able to put most things down to pg argh!

bringonthetrumpets · 08/04/2009 12:56

yeah... our bodies are cruel to us. leading us on, making us believe false things... goodness sounds like men! no wonder they call it menstration and menopause

geesh.

Dalrymps · 08/04/2009 14:45

Hahahaha good point

Dalrymps · 09/04/2009 09:03

Morning all, it's the dreaded af day for me. Am crossing all my fingers and toes it doesn't show up!

How are you all doing?

Biccy · 09/04/2009 14:09

Hi Dalrymps, still not feeling well, and dd is sick now. Looks like our Easter weekened away may be scuppered. Still, it's a good excuse to light the fire and stick on a DVD and just chill. How are you? Any sign yet?

Dalrymps · 09/04/2009 14:33

Biccy - Sorry you're still not well. Sorry dd is sick now to, it's awful when you're ill at the same time as the lo . Hope you feel better soon.

No sign yet , I don't really get much warning usually, some people can tell when they're about to start but not me! Guess it's just a matter of waiting...

Dalrymps · 09/04/2009 15:00

Well, that proves my point. I just wrote that message and got my af 5 mins later

Biccy · 09/04/2009 19:38

I'm sorry Dalrymps; it's really disappointing for you. I suppose at least it didn't mess you about by being a bit late. Thinking of you, xx

Dalrymps · 09/04/2009 22:26

Yeah, at least I know now this month. I hate the waiting! Ah well, here's to next month.

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 00:06

Evening all.
this seems like a nice thread so wondered if i could join in?

wont beet around the bush me and my DP have been TTC DC1 for about 10month. been haveing problems with ovulating. . we have a GOF very very regularly. but still no luck. also i have been getting very of people around me that are already pg or people who already have a DC. but oh well. i am currently on CD10. so just waiting for ovulatiuon CM if it ever arrives.

Dalrymps · 10/04/2009 10:12

Hi Kay4MattTTC! Of course you can join in, the more the merrier! We can go a bit quiet at times so click 'watch' at the top and save this in the 'threads i'm watching' section, that way you'll see when one of us has posted.

So what part of the counrty are you from? How old are you? I'm 27. I'm up North, just before the border to Scotland... I have one ds 17 months and am just about to enter my 5th month TTC no 2. Conceived ds1 without even trying so am started to get a little frustated now.

I'm sure it'll happen for you soon. You had a look on the fertility friend website? Lots of tips on there and you can do temperature charts to see when you ovulate.

Feel free to copy the ttc list and add yourself in then post it afresh

Biccy · 10/04/2009 10:44

Hi Kay4MattTTC, welcome! Sorry to hear about your problems with OV. I like this thread - it helps to know you're not alone in your frustrations, and feeling like you're going mad.

We have been TTC #2 since September/October last year. Have managed two CPs and one MC in that time, so am currently having a month off but am hoping to be back on the TTC wagon after next AF (although DP seems to think we should have longer off... so I hope I can convince him we shouldn't delay any longer).

We are supposed to be off to London for the weekend after lunch, so won't be posting much, if at all, over the next few days. But then DD is being such a little madam DP keeps threatening to cancel the whole trip, and is currently just playing on his playstation in his dressing gown, so whether we really go anywhere remains to be seen...

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 14:32

Dalrymps · 10/04/2009 15:02

Hey Kay, I am originally from yorkshire (w yorks). Moved to NOrth Yorks when I was 11 but ended up here Due to meeting my dh at uni. Where did you meet your dp/dh? How long you been together? I've been with my dh 5 yrs

I feel very to hear you were forced to have an abortion, it should always be a choice, your choice. If you ever want to talk about it I am willing to lend an ear.

What you do with yourself when you're not goffing? I spend most of my day looking after ds, going for walks, housework. I like going to the beach and shopping in Newcastle an hour away too amongst other things.

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 15:28

Cool. I met my DP through my brother. We have been together for nearly a year, it will be a year in 6days .

awww thankQ its not somthing i normally talk about because it makes me very when i think about it.

i spend my day with my DP mostly , and am online quite alot. i like to go shopping every so often and just have a good old chat.

Dalrymps · 10/04/2009 15:59

Ah it's nice when you meet your other half when they're a friend of a friend iyswim, although in your case a friend of a brother . Congratulations on being together a year! Dh and I had sort of a whirlwind romance, we were engaged after 4 months

I'd spend all my time with my dh too, if he wasn't at work that is. We used to work at the same place on the same shift, never got sick of each other. He's my best friend

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 16:05

yerr it is lol , but unforunatly they arn't friends anymore.

me and my DP had a whirlwind romance too. we got engaged 2month after getting together and decided to start a family too.

Dalrymps · 10/04/2009 16:10

Yeah, you're quicker than me on the ttc front I have to admit

Although we did dicuss doing it quite early on but then other things got in the way and my parents convinced us to get married first. Although looking back I don't think that matters much tbh.

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 16:15

lol.

no i dont ether. me and DP would like to get married but dont have the money to atm.
ad rather spend money on TTC really.

Dalrymps · 10/04/2009 16:36

...

Kay4MattTTC · 11/04/2009 21:34

has anybody else been feeling really latly?

Dalrymps · 11/04/2009 22:31

Well I am becoming a bit more every time I see that Holly Willoughby on tv

Good news ladies. As you know dh and I were going to ttc till next month then stop if we hadn't concieved. This was because it would mean the baby would be too young when my dh does his pgce in 2010 whilst i'm working to support us.

Anyway, I was feeling all stressed about it as we only have one month left and dh said not to worry as he'd rather put the pgce on hold than stop ttc. So, we are just going to carry on until we get a BFP . I am so happy and the pressure is off. I love my dh

bringonthetrumpets · 13/04/2009 09:37

awwh, very good news for you dairymps !

sorry for disappearing for a while there.... was in good ol' london town on thursday and friday with dh and ds for a mini-holiday. the really good news is that dh's visa interview for moving to the states went brilliantly and we should have the green light to move within the MONTH! Sooo very very excited about that! after meeting him at the embassy we went to the zoo which was fun. weather was a bit questionable so there weren't many people around so we got a good look at all the animals. friday we were meant to see the natural history museum but the queue was 2 hours long . so we went and snapped photos of ds in front of st. stephens tower, westminter abbey, buckingham palace... all the big tourist places so he'll have photos of london for when he's older and all american-like.

aannnnddd, i was very naughty after dh and i were talking about more kids and took a test which of course was a BFN. so just waiting around for af to come and go.

Biccy · 13/04/2009 10:11

Hi all! Well, we made it to London and it was great. Really good to get away actually, and have a change of scene. Feel really refreshed. Just getting ready to go out and enjoy the sunshine here, but thought I'd pop in.

Great news Dalrymps about losing the deadline - bet it happens straight away now you don't feel under pressure to do it! And wow BringontheTrumpets that's amazing. Whereabouts in USA are you going? I assume you will stay on MN?

Month of TNTC went a bit wrong this morning, but it's CD20 so I think the odds are pretty low, especially as I was pretty sure I OV'd early this month. At least this late on I won't be tempted to test early, as if by any miracle it did happen this morning it wouldn't show up on a test until AF was late anyway...

Right, better get dressed and sorted to meet friends for lunch.

Catch you later. xx
