Fruity 10-12 miles?!?!? Seriously? And in your condition?!? Am very impressed! Where on earth were you? You make me feel like a lazy old tart Not surprised you're delirious!

Btw can't remember her name, but I thought the first girl, the one who did re-light my fire was WAAAAAAAAAAAY the best, followed by the rather annoying irish boy with silly hair who went last... any thoughts?!?

HappyandEiknowit · 22/11/2008 23:45

evening ladies
i LOVED TT night on xfactor and i am sooooo glad that crank rachel went this week!!
sparkly that you think AF has arrived xx im glad you had a lovely night with your mates
fruity a 12 mile walk!! are you mad woman?? you need to get those feet up and pronto
kate i hope your temp isnt on the way down and you get a nice BFP but as you have said there are loads of reasons we can use to our advantage whilst not growing babies
mollie im glad to hear you are taking complete advantage of the sore knee but at your DH breaking your ornament!! i would make a rule of for every ornament/keepsake broken...2 must be purchased in replacement either that or a replacement item AND a lovely gift for you
hello to everyone else

scully · 23/11/2008 09:03

Hiya ladies, can't remember much of the last few pages I've just read Have been feeling quite crap this week, tired, nauseas etc. Should be 7wks on Tues I think so goes with the territory
We've had friends here visiting from the UK for 4 days which has been lovely, spent today at the beach Was a nice distraction from the 3 storms in 5 days we had earlier last week
How's your knee Mollie? Sorry for af that's arrived Sparkly and Ei, but enjoy all that over indulging at Xmas
That's a long walk Fruity, hope you had a long rest afterwards.
Hi to everyone else, sorry can't remember any other news, 7pm here and I'm a bit tired.......

MollieMooma · 23/11/2008 09:51

TeeHee Thanks for the cushion plumping and cup of tea, much appreciated. DH got home about 6.30 a little merry but cooked me a delicious tea. Unfortunately he then snored for most of the night, which I recorded on my mobile as he never believes me, he was shocked this morning Are you feeling better?
Kate Nice to hear DH is on the same wavelength, some of the girls on my other threads are struggling to get their DH/DP's to "participate". How good were Take That last night? I nagged DH so much last night with the "I haven't got tickets but everyone else has" line that he got really fed up!
Sparkly How was hair of the dog? Did you get drunk again last night and find somewhere nice for tea?
Fruity I'm impressed with your walk, just take it easy today my lovely. Hope you enjoyed your samasos's
EI I love that idea of 2 for 1 on the broken ornament especially as he spent his beer money yesterday instead of saving it for me (Like I thought he would have )
Scully 7 weeks already, my that seems to have gone quickly, although I'm sure it hasn't for you. Did you tell your friends that visited?
Georgie How are you?
Mibbes Any news for us??
CriCri & Emmsy Hope you are enjoying your new gorgeous baby girls

Well bit confused by AF, I had spotting Thursday then nothing, a little more spotting yesterday morning then nothing, and a little more this morning, I don't normally do this so I presume I'm still a little messed up. Will ring for blood results tomorrow to see if I OV'd this month.

I am still not very mobile, so please visit regularly again today people to keep me sane

Evening ladies,
Oh buggar - I just dropped my custard cream in my tea . Guess that's what happens when you dunk.
Kate I've checked in hoping for some news from you. Are your cycles usually 31 days? Am loving the list. I've got one to add....
We can buy new clothes because we want to and not because we have to.
Mollie Ditto the after christmas thing. I didn't mind seeing AF yday either. Am feeling so much better about m/c. We're going to have a fantastic, drunken xmas . We went out for a chinese last night. Was lovely but we were both so tired (and not v drunk) so we came home to watch Xfactor results.
Bella Have just peaked at your chart. Are you going to start temping or are you taking a more relaxed approach? How long are your cycles normally? Hope you're feeling better this evening.
Scully [waves] Sorry to hear you're not too good but fingers crossed the symptoms continue to come strong.
Ei We're almost CB again . I missed TT performing.
Fruity at your walk. Not sure I could walk a mile . Did you power walk like you normally do? What was it in aid of?

Hello to everyone else. DD is watching Matilda so it's lovely and peaceful.

KATTTEEEEEEEE Where are you?

And where is everyone else? It's Sunday night (Scully excused). Don't pretend you all have lives...

OP posts:
BellaHarry · 23/11/2008 19:10

Sparkly can't beat a dunked bickie though, it's worth the risk!I'm going to buy some pee stick things if I'm not lucky this month. I've only been off the pill 2 months so not sure exactly about cyle length, last month was 30 days but I'm kinda hopeing it's longer this time otherwise my LP is only 10 days. What's your situation?

SparklyPseudonym · 23/11/2008 19:27

Oww company. We've been TTC for over a year now. Was temping and using OPKs. Found out I was pregnant in August but miscarried at 11 weeks. We're going to start trying again after xmas and just see what happens before then.
30 day cycle is a good length after only just coming off the pill. You can get really cheap OPKs from babymad.com

OP posts:
BellaHarry · 23/11/2008 20:07

Thank you Sparkly what an apt name 'babymad' indeed! Sorry to hear about your miscarriage, really hope it works out for you soon! x

MollieMooma · 23/11/2008 20:21

How typical I've been in and out of here all day and no-one was about, and then just when I'm not looking people appear!!!

HappyandEiknowit · 23/11/2008 20:29

Sparkly heads to MSN to find company....

OP posts:
cricri · 23/11/2008 20:59

I'm here too although not for long - bed calls! I'm having to make tough decisions these days about what needs to be done during the few precious moments I have to myself during the day (eat, go to the loo...)or what I can actually fit in before Elise starts wanting food again hence my erratic posting... I can't actually remember when I last posted as the days all seem to be the same, although DH is around at the weekends so at least that gives me a clue!
Anyway, welcome to Bellaharry
Fruity I also can't believe you did a 12 mile walk in your condition! Hope you've been putting your feet up tday.
Mollie Can't remember if I posted before or after you injured your knee, but sorry to hear you're injured. Hope your DH has made it up to you for breaking your ornament! At least you've got MN to keep you company whilst you're laid up.
Kate We're on tenterhooks here, do put us out of our misery
Teehee Glad you're better. In answer to your question, yes it is all work, very hard work, relentless is probably a better description but you get used to it very quickly. No choice really, you just have to get on with it. You'll be fine
Mibbes Engagement of head is no indication of when baby will arrive - even if you're only 1/5 engaged the rest may follow very quickly - that's what happened to one of my NCT friends who got to the hospital in labour and told the mw "But I was told the head wasn't engaged!" To which she was told "It is now dear!" Another NCT friend went around for weeks with baby's head 3/5 engaged and went 8 days overdue. Elise was 2/5 engaged for about 2 weeks.
Scully We've had snow here today and it's freezing!

Am ok - not thrilled to see af obviously, or thrilled to realise that if we don't get lucky this month she'll be due back the day before chrustmas eve - but I guess that's about a million times better than having her due back the day after boxing day or something hideous (iyswim) And look where getting pg the first month of trying got me last time - nothing wrong with falling the second month though!

Sparkly seems to me you have a bit of a chinese thing going on lately? Custard Creams. Yum. My favourite!

Bella there are no temps on your chart...? Are you feeling better today? Mollie's right, too ill for Ben & Jerries is ILL! Hope you're ok.

Scully glad to hear the symptoms are coming on strong. Must only be a week til your scan now? Or are you having it on 1st Dec? Sorry for not remembering

Speaking of scans, where are you Miss Georgiegirl? Hope the symptoms are continuing good and strong for you too When's D Day for you?

Ei totally agree with you re X Factor - that girl had definitely overstayed her abilities imo!

Mollie Wotcha cycle buddy! Glad af seems to have sorted herself out finally. Let us know you get on with the test results. Should they be available tomorrow? Will be looking out for you And don't worry about the not obsessing this month, I'm sure I'll be able to obsess enough for the both of us!

We had a lovely day today. Lunch at the gorgeous house of some friends of friends of ours out in the middle of the New Forest. We hadn't been there before, we were very surprised to be invited but it was great. Roast chicken followed by plum crumble. Yum! The perfect weay to spend a sunday

kate2179 · 23/11/2008 21:38

Sorry ladies, I've just been re-reading your posts, I didn't realise I was keeping you on tenterhooks, tbh I've been sure sice the -ve test on Friday that this wasn't our month, then temp dropped yesterday before going through the floor this morning. Sorry to have gotten your hopes up...

HappyandEiknowit · 23/11/2008 21:57

kate sorry AF got you i think we all get down to business this cycle and get nice festive tinsel wrapped BFPs we are nearly all at the same point in our cycles now so should be testing at similar times aswell so dya think we should do a secret santa and get eachother a HPT??

ray81 · 23/11/2008 22:03

Hi guys, can i join you all this tread looks like fun and i need some cheering up.

My story is, TTc for 5 years 1st Mc after year of TTc and then 2nd Mc after 18 months TTc nothing for nearly 4 years and got BFP Tues 11th was so so so happy had bloods on tues just gone and very low, then again on thurs and they had dropped, started bleeding fri so 3rd Mc in 5 years. Have been told they will start investigations to see hwy i am losing but although started bleeding Fri and this is Mc bleed is nearly over already so wondering if lining to thin and therefore problem with progestrone.
I do have DD who is 6 and she is my beautiful wonderfull little girl and i am so so so lucky to have her. I cant get enough of ehr at the moment and shes like 'Aw mum stop kissing and cuddling me' little madam but i cant help it, all this trouble ttcing and mcing just makes me realise how lucky i am.

Anyway not sure when to start TTCing again. part of me want to start striaght away and another part thinks we should wait until investiagtions are carried out . All the advise you can give ladies would be very welcome.

HappyandEiknowit · 23/11/2008 22:53

hi and welcome to ray how perceptive of you to say as we are bundles of fun so sorry to hear about your troubles TTC we all have our stories and it makes us great to moan/rant with and also laugh at how ridiculous TTC is (if you dont laugh you will cry) my story is i am up to cycle 13 TTC number 2, i have a 2.10 yo DD and 3 MC under my ever expanding belt, my first mc was 6 years ago at 14 weeks, i had DD in jan 06 then decided to TTC in oct 07. my 2nd mc was april 08 at 5+3 and 3rd in june 08 at 5+1. since then not a sniff of a BFP but still ever so dilligently trying we are quite a lucky group for newbies aswell so a bit of the old emmsy luck and baby dust and you will be cultivating number 2 in no time
good luck
xx ei xx

scully · 24/11/2008 02:08

Welcome to Ray and Bella, all a bit mad here, but cosy and relaxed as well
Drove our visitors to the airport this morning and have been doing housework for the last 2hrs but it's hot now and I'm a bit over it all now.....Just 2 loads of washing to put away, and another load to hang on the line, then I might stop. Need to go to dd1's school in 2hrs anyway, such a relaxing day off work
Can't remember who asked, but my scan is next Monday, 1 Dec & I see the gp later that day as well.
I decided not to tell our friends who were visiting, wasn't so hard to not drink and I just disappeared off to bed earlier than everyone else. We told our other friends the weekend before, but there isn't really anyone they could tell the news to, whereas if we had told the ones who left today, the news would be back in the UK before I could blink. Would rather know the scan results before the world knowing.
Off to sort out my washing.........

BellaHarry · 24/11/2008 09:54

Kate So sorry AF came for you, I'm testing this saturday but already feel like she's due for me too I didn't temp this month not sure how hubbie would feel being woken up early at weekends!!

Ray Welcome, I'm so sorry about your sad news.

Scully Great to 'meet' you!

Feel crappy today, at work with cold and feel sick (if only it were the good sick).

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 24/11/2008 14:55

Hey guys. Sorry for radio silence. Been at Mum and Dad's all weekend celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Had a wonderful time but very busy, packed weekend.

I've had a bleed today which has sent me off the deep end. Obviously given my history I'm really worried. Have got my 6+4 scan tomorrow. So am hoping that they might be able to see a heartbeat (please god). DH home from work now, so off to lie down on the bed. And keep my legs crossed!

Will catch up properly tomorrow. Welcome to Ray. Really hope you enjoy this thread as much as I do. Lovely, lovely ladies on here.

And am very at those of you with TT tickets. When I was a young PR pup in 1992, I worked for an agency that did club evebnts. TT were guests of honour one night and it was my job to look after them all night . Much fun. Lovely lads. Robbie complete scally wag. And got a HUGE kiss from all of them at end of night (tongues from Mr Williams!). Those were the days!!!!

kate2179 · 24/11/2008 15:43

Hello and welcome to Ray, so sorry to hear of everything you've been through. Are they going to scan you to check out what's happening? Really hope you get some answers soon xx

Georgie I'm so sorry to hear about the bleed. Given your and my histories I'm not going to waste your time telling you not to worry, and that it could be nothing,as we both know you're going to worry anyway, and you already know it could be nothing. But what I will say is that I'm really glad you only have to wait until tomorrow to find ouot what's happening, although Lord knows that will probably feel like wait enough. You should stand a pretty good chance of seeing a hb at 6+4, I saw one at 6+5, but how sure are you of your dates? A couple of days either way can make a huge difference at this stage, so no hb could just mean late implantation, I know LackaDaisycal over on knicker checkers had an early scan which wasn't quite as she'd hoped with her most recent pg, which ended up with her giving birth to a bouncing baby boy a week or so ago. Fingers crossed it swill be the same for you! What time's your appt? I'll be thinking of you, please let us know how you get one xx

And PS I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SNOGGED ROBBIE WILLIAMS!!!!! ()
