MollieMooma · 21/11/2008 18:40

Kate FMU my lovely FMU!!! I bet you test again at the weekend I don't do Strictly just an X Factor girl Enjoy your wine tonight
Sparkly Sorry to hear temp is falling. Can't believe your DP got the wrong weekend Glad to hear your not cancelling your night in with the girls, he can sit upstairs and listen to you all having fun as punishment for not buying you a DS, remember you can't ravish him later if you're punishing him though
Georgie I stayed up til gone midnight last night reading that thread you recommended PSML

Where is everyone??

SparklyPseudonym · 21/11/2008 18:53

Kate I'm really hoping you got a false pos for testing too early and not with fmu. Consider yourself told off. Enjoy yourself at the pub. Am thinking of you and really, really hoping there will be good news. We need it. xxx
Mollie He's going out tonight so he's got the best of all worlds really!! Have just got dressed for the girlies. Am loading some new albums onto my ipod to listen to over dinner...obv not in my ears but on my new speaks...oh, and I complained I didn't have any purfume left so DP just gave me the gift set he got me for my birthday. I won't be having any pressies on Monday . xxx

mibbes · 21/11/2008 19:45

hello just checking in briefly so that you know am still around ! Had a dose of the runs last night so thought it was all kicking off but no... MW said that head is 1/5 engaged so may have a while to wait - if this is 1/5 I dread to think how painful it will be down below when fully engaged !

Kate FMU and that is all I have to say on the matter - chart still looks very good - .04 is not a drop !

welcome to the thread Bellaharry

teeheelaydee · 21/11/2008 21:41

Ok ladies a salt pig looks nothing like a pig and is not made of salt it is the china/terracotta thing that you put salt in so you can scoop/pinch it out to cook with - you have it on your worktop. I wondered why Kate didn't think I would want to shop for one when sick and then realised she must think it was some awful salted pig food thing! Ewww (although pork scatchings mmm) God knows why DP wants one but he insists of leaving the box of salt out until he gets one!! and yes Fruity he is pretty easily pleased - shame I don't return that favour, cashmere scarfs and nice bath stuff is more my scene!! Sorry to disappoint not as exciting as it sounds! (Oh just noticed that Fruity has posted a link- see told you it was dull)

Ei Sorry TEW got you I had a really good feeling for you this month - so much for my psychic powers. I still reckon you're next though! (Sorry other ladies)

Sparkly Ooh earache - sounds serious are you sure one day off is enough? Hope you had a good day though and you've handed in the assignment, you can't get an A* if you don't y'know. How sweet of DP - but good on you for not cancelling the girls.

Mollie So sorry about your knee, but I reckon some days off will do you some good in the end. I know exactly what you mean about same ol' same ol' - I basically bored myself let alone anyone else when things were tough. BUT please please don't worry about it here, you are one of us and we want to know if you are hurting and promise not to be bored. I know I'm a bit behind the times as its now Fri pm so will just say agree with Ei about the chocolate and indulging your emotions and Kate about the not TTC until you are stronger and the doctor/councilling thing and want to give you a big hug. PS - love the slinky joke

Bellaharry Hi and welcome to a bit of a hotchpotch as you can see by the list but it works for us and I'm sure will for you too. Charts far to advanced for my addled brain but there are some real nerds experts on here so you're in good hands.

OMG Fruity Look at your enormous belly !! and I cannot believe you are 23 weeks - amazing. Please don't wish for big (.)(.) because big does not necessarily mean pretty! and DP has kindly told me this week that once the ligaments are stretched they never recover - GREAT!

Kate Fab about TT tickets. Sorry of your BFN - any chance it was too early, not that I want to encourage your obsessing! Remember it is only cycle 1 and really - you were just practising no? You are not alone I am fully paid up Strictly addict and have got tickets for the live show in Feb for me and my Stepmum (she is so addicted she needs help and my dad is surprising her with the tickets for xmas - she will blub!!)

Cricri You really do sound like you're doing a marvellous job - are you enjoying it? Or is it all work work work.

Phew long post - must go but feeling loads better although still asleep at 8:45 last night and no that is not a typo. Think bump has really grown this week - DP said this morning "God you're belly is going to get enourmous isn't it" Mmmm Me: "Yes dear - on which side would you like the black eye" If I can get myself organised I will join Fruity in the 'half-naked' bump shots and should have new scan to put on on Wednesday.

You have probably already packed your weekend bags and left the thread but never mind. xx

teeheelaydee · 21/11/2008 21:44

Ei x-posts but wanted to say Aaaah that you are so pleased to see DH - warmed my heart. Have a good evening!

HappyandEiknowit · 21/11/2008 22:19

hey teehee i cant believe how quickly things are going for you re: your efforts in human cultivation i will be waiting avidly for your scan news and some pics so i can live vicariously through you
kate i forgot to add before...im going to see take that aswell in june/july i think it is. but the manchester one for us
xx ei xx

MollieMooma · 22/11/2008 09:46

Sparkly How's the head this morning
Mibbes Oh my I'm getting excited, come on Miblet come and meet us all

EI I got the bright green as nobody else seems to like it And I've got a lovely white leather case as well, it looks gorge!! I think it's so sweet you missed your DP, I bet the house has been tidy all week though
TeeHee LOL at your salt pig rant!So pleased to hear you're feeling better, I haven't packed my weekend bag as I can't go anywhere at the moment, DH is already p*ssed off with doing everything for me - welcome to my world i say!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, don't forget to come and see me, I'll be hanging out here with knee up so come and talk
Oh and on the housework side of things, DH has taken a new tactic, if he strops when he's hoovering he can knock off my favourite ornament from Next and break it! Needless to say he's now watching the rugby this afternoon in the pub with a coke and his drinking money is buying me a new statue!!!! And this will not stop me getting to help with housework, when will he learn !!

kate2179 · 22/11/2008 10:11

Loving the fact that we have at least 3 TT fans with tickets even on this relatively small thread!

I'm out for this month I think ladies. Not going to do any more tests. Quite a significant temp drop this morning, esp as I took it 1.5hrs later than yesterday so I'm expecting af tomorrow. Haven't got long to catch up properly now, have to walk the hound before Dh and Lola get back from puppy school then we're off to Biscester () to tackle the christmas shopping. but just thought I'd start a list of reasons why it's good not to be pg this month. If anyone cares to join me, feel free! I hope this doesn't sound a little 'Pollyanna', but I figures I may as well make the best of it

  1. Kate Sparkly & Ei will very nearly be CBs - fantasitc support all round
  2. We can celebrate Sparkly's birthday 'properly' on Monday!
  3. Likewise Kate's wedding anniversary and Teehee's scan on wednesday
  4. My irritating acupuncturist will be pleased...
  5. We still have another chance before christmas
  6. We should be in the early part of our cycles for christmas & new year if we don't conceive next month, so no worrying about drinking on the 2ww - we'll either be pg or pissed!
  7. We're unlikely to go into labour at our respecctive TT concerts (scraping the barrel a bit now )

Can't think of any more... But not a bad start?!?

Love to all, will catch up properly later. xx

I'd lost a day somewhere, is everyone else right?

MollieMooma · 22/11/2008 10:28

Kate AF is due today or tomorrow for me so I can be a CB too!!! I wanna be in your gang, your gang, your gang (OMG think I'm going stir crazy!)

I definately don't want to be pg at Christmas, I want to be very drunk as last Christmas Day was when I started spotting with first m/c so if I can't cancel all festivities then I'll blot them out with alcohol

I like the idea of the why it's good not to be list, I'm now thinking of one to add . . . . . . . . . . . . will get back to you

MollieMooma · 22/11/2008 10:40

OK I've got one . . . . .

  1. We can eat shellfish, brie, pate and rare meat which are on all the best chrismtas menus!
mibbes · 22/11/2008 10:47

teehee tickets for Strictly ! I love that show, Sat is so my fave day of the week at the moment . Am gutted john left, even though I'd never vote for him. OOOohhh just imagine me with my massive belly spinning round the lounge on a sat night when nobody is watching

OOOhhhh and I am another TT fan with tickets going to the Glasgow show - can't wait ! I saw them on their last tour in Belfast - AMAZING !

Mollie how are you my dear ? Resting and relaxing I hope Grrr at DH and the broken ornament

Kate so sorry you're out hun but am hugely impressed with your PMA and list of positives - excellent approach missus. Enjoy xmas shopping and here are some {{{cyber hugs}}} xx

SparklyPseudonym · 22/11/2008 11:06

Goodmorning lovely ladies,
I'm not feeling too bad at the moment but I think the hangover will set in when I get out of the chair....
Had a lovely night. I'll have to upload piccies of the cake my friend made for me-it's amazing. Help yourselves btw.....
I think AF is here. Temp was up this morning but that was the wine. AF pains have kicked in and had a tiny bit of bleeding this morning (looks as though the usual brown start has left me - that can only be good thing, even if I did have a 36 day cycle?!)
Oh dear, just realised the time. Have to take DD to her dancing lesson....I'll catch up later.
And Mollie I couldn't resist opening my card this morning. It's great, thanks xxxxx

Lots of love to everyone

OP posts:
MollieMooma · 22/11/2008 11:38

Sparkly Tut tut it's not your birthday til Monday!!! Glad you had a good time, hope the hangover doesn't kick in. Looking forward to my piece of cake!

Can't you tell I'm bored, I'm still on here!!

MollieMooma · 22/11/2008 11:39

Oh and I tried to get an abusive welsh or sheep based card but couldn't find one on-line and I can't get to the shops yet. But look out next time

teeheelaydee · 22/11/2008 16:32

Just popping in to see if Mollie needs her cushions plumping and another cup of tes/glass of wine as your DH is out. He obviously needs more practice with the housework so he can improve his breakages. Sounds like he's gonna get it though.

Thought of another benefit for you ladies. You can have some excellent non-pressured non-TTC, put a big smile on your face napalming between now and OV time! and all the best people are born in September anyway.

Glad you had a fab time Sparkly. Shame about the hangover but least you know it was worth it

Puppy school makes me think of little Lola in a school uniform with a satchel - aaaah. D'ya think they'll cover 'flowers to avoid' for the little madam.

kate2179 · 22/11/2008 19:48

It's Take That Night Ladies!!!

Yippee!

Shopping good. Not as much fun as normal at Biscester cos it made me feel very broke - probably cos we are very broke!

Very cute moment with DH in Cath Kidston though, I pointed out the baby bags and he suggested we should get one But then he said he supposed we've got 9 months to get one and maybe we ought tro concentrate on making a baby first Bless him.

Loving the suggestions ladies! So to re-cap:

  1. we can eat shellfish, brie, pate and rare meat WHENEVER WE WANT
  2. SHAGGING! (none of that soppy rubbish )
and maybe 10. Lots of CHAMPAGNE!? I think we all deserve it don't you?

Sparkly glad you had a great night, just what you needed It's just always such a shame about the hangover though isn't it... Yum to the cake though, thank you! Hope you've had lots of tlc from DP to make you feel better. xx

So this is getting a bit spooky. 4 of us going to see Take That, potentially 3 of us as cycle buddies... what's next?!?

FruitynNutty · 22/11/2008 20:38

I'm sooooooo tired [yaaaaaawwwwnnnnn]
8 mile walk turned into about 10-12 miles across very muddy fields. Beautiful walk though, but once you've seen one idyllic church you've seen 'em all!
I'm just soooooo tired. I can't even bring myslef to read all todays posts. Will catch up tomorrow. DP getting me some samosas from sainsburys - I do love a samosa.
Am loving Take That night on X-Factor. Go on Diana!

FruitynNutty · 22/11/2008 20:39

"Nehhhhhhver.... forget where you're coming from"

FruitynNutty · 22/11/2008 20:40

I thought that boy band I can't remember the name of would do a rendition of "Do what you want" not that I fancy them or anything, just be nice to see some nekkid bottoms

FruitynNutty · 22/11/2008 20:41

I think I might be delirious from today's walk
