Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

So sad for you sparkly

Canadianmom · 27/02/2005 19:35

Sparkly I am so sorry.

Thank you for the warm welcome back HM and Munnzieb (much needed as the wind chill here brings the temperature down to -12 C.)

I am on CD 5 of what I am sure was a cycle with no ovulation. ARGH! Maybe I really am nuts for even thinking about trying again... DH is teasing me that I am back with the Mums Nutters and he wonders how any of you find time to BD when we are always online. Cheeky! Must run and sort him out.

HunkerMunker · 27/02/2005 23:34

Wow -12, Canadianmom! Thought it was cold here... Still, can think of a nice way to keep warm Think we're on the same CD too - weird how lots of people on the thread are at exactly the same stage in their cycles!

cp3 · 28/02/2005 08:02

Morning girls. Fresco did you know that you can get ky with a warming sensation now. We have never used anything but i quite fancy some of that

sparkly · 28/02/2005 08:12

Thanks everyone for your lovely words. Fresco, I did have bleeding when pg with my dd so at first was fairly ok with it. Then I did the pg test on Sat morning and it was negative. I knew then I had lost it. Bleeding much heavier now. I'm at work this morning but only because I have a client meeting noone else would have been able to cover but I'm hoping to get to the docs this afternoon. Not even sure if I really need to go to the docs. Suppose I do just to make sure everything is as it should be. Been feeling so sick since Sat night, too. Spent most of my time with my head down the toilet. A week ago I'd have been ecstatic as it was morning sickness, now it's just annoying.

Hulababy · 28/02/2005 08:27

Oh Sparkly (((hugs))) So sorry. Been away all weekend, so missed this. Take care of yourself.

Hulababy · 28/02/2005 08:28

Cad mom - well i'm on here so much cos DH is away, it i'll be a whole nother story when he's back lol, he moaneed about how much I was on here last time he was home - (until he found out hula wanted advise on Broadband ) and I was hardly on here then! lol.

Fresco - I think KY is bad if ur TTC, or so I hear I hink tania looked into it, so...

OI TANIA if ur stopping in is it bad? also how u gettin on hon?

also My MIL is now on to her fourth cardi she's knitting, thank fully she stopped for a while, but how do I say, look you'll have a whole 9 months to knit once we get there? lol. (besdies which i'm also knitting a few little bits and bobs)

sparkly - how u feeling today hon? (((hugs))) don't forget to take it easy and rest up, can work give you the next couple of days off perhaps?

expatinscotland · 28/02/2005 09:24

Sparkly and Hula - big cuddles to you both.

It's just a matter of time before AF shows here - right in the middle of my holiday and my sister's visit, of course. WITCH!

cp3 · 28/02/2005 10:24

Hula, sorry your af arrived. Think im on my 9th or 10 month of ttcing now.Im waiting to test now and its a long wait. I actually feel quite relieved when af arrives as then can start trying again. The last two weeks of my cycle seem a bit of a waste as not as fertile then. IYSWIM

Fresco there s a thread with advice about teeth brushing around at the moment. I ask my dd to brush her teeth like sully from Monsters inc also singing this is the way ewe brush our teeth helps. Good luck but i wouldnt worry too much.

Diege · 28/02/2005 10:33

Sparkly, Away all weekend, so just heard your sad news. So sorry, you must feel awful

Fresco: Re: the KY thing, I have recently purchased something called 'pre-seed' (ok don't laugh) that is 'sperm friendly' and is actually supposed to help the swimmers reach the egg. Costs a scandelous £14 off the internet, and you actually have to insert it which has put me off a bit! If I get round to testing it out, I'll ley you have a report.

BabyBop · 28/02/2005 10:38

yes cp3 it will be! I am trying so hard not to give myself away here! lol

so sorry for you sparkly. I had this before ds2. it was horrid feeling. rest up sweetie x x

sorry for those whos AF arrived.

Me and DH BD last night but I bled quite a bit afterwards. I hope this isn't bad. We weren't that ahem vigourous anyway

fresco · 28/02/2005 10:45

diege , 'preseed?'.sounds wierd but not funny...serious i am not laughing!!! LOL!!!!on a serious note, well when i havent done it for a while i am very dry inside and dp finds it sore to go in so need a bit of a 'sticky help/lubricant help'.but why should it be bad for sperms? i mean it may well be bad but why should it?

popadopalis · 28/02/2005 10:54

Hello! I'm new to this so a bit unsure of what to do. I've been TTC for five months now and just wanted any advice that anyone could give me to increase chances of conception?

Twiga · 28/02/2005 10:59

Hey popadopalis [grin}, here's to your first post and the begining of your mumsnet addiction! The folk on this thread were a great support to me in ttc and you'll certainly have your eyes opened by some of their craziness!

Hey everyone, pops is a RL really great friend of mine, look after her! Hope you are all doing well and there are lots of BFPs very soon, lol x

popadopalis · 28/02/2005 11:04

Hey Twiga!! Thanks for your help! :0 I know we talk all the time but any tips for me?

popadopalis · 28/02/2005 11:05

I can't seem to either!!

Twiga · 28/02/2005 11:10

That mad dh of mine suggests you both stand on your heads before during and after!

Try this for working out fertile times babycentre and aim for at least every other day over those in paticular.
