Arghh SES I am so jealous that you can watch the tennis - we don't have Eurosport so the closest I get to live action is updates on Eurosport yahoo - NOT the same thing...I am sending out positive vibes now..and it's not for Murray .
I can imagine how you feel at the moment SES. I feel sick with nerves even thinking about getting pregnant again. Every day of nerves is another day closer though and you are doing all that is humanely possible! Hope the book helps a bit. It was written some time ago but has become the classic text as it's timeless - really helped me, although have to dip in and out every so often.
NAT - have vision of your dh as a lit-up skeleton attached to mains . Agree with SES, no water is pretty major...only a few hours now till I can go to a fridge and get some milk out. That reminds me, must get the icepacks in from chest freezer..
Oh and thanks Nat and SES for info' re: period. Would fit I think. I do normally get sore boobs a week or so before af, and the day the soreness disappears I know af will come the next. This is a horrible throbbling in the left one only and af pains have gone now. Will prepare myself for super-strength period! (am under no illusions that I could be have been lucky this month). Looking forward to doing it properly next month!
Night all, speak tomorrow

SesHasapinkline · 07/09/2008 21:47

Night Diege. I usually get the same with sore boobs prior to AF and both times pg, they just haven't stopped being sore.

Thanks for your understanding. I am feeling v silly but had another crying episode earlier. I may phone EPU tomorrow and get their advice as I don't think I can go on like this much longer and it's probably not doing the pregnancy any good either. DH is trying to be reassuring but no one can give me that guarantee.

tinkhasanactivebean · 08/09/2008 08:30

morning

ses i can understand how worried you must feel can you get an early scan soon to reasure?

GYo · 08/09/2008 08:37

Morning everyone
Just a quick one to say hi!

Hope everyone had good weekends- was very quiet on here... Did read it all but struggling to remember!

NJ- is your water back?

Ses- I wouldnt beat yourself up about feeling nervous... think its quite normal, but good idea to see someone soon so you can at least be under some care of some sort.

Hi everyone else- sorry if i've missed anything crucial. My brain has been fried this weekend... might blame the hormones!

Morning Tink!

meant to say, your lunch out sounded great with profiteroles.

OP posts:
calsworld · 08/09/2008 09:08

Morning all, SES, sorry to hear you're worrying so at the moment, but completely understandable - I can imagine I will be exactly the same if I manage to get pg again. Agree that an early scan would probably be very helpful.

Tink, your lunch sounds lovely - hope DD has another good day at nursery today - is she enjoying it?

We had a lovely weekend, mostly at home although we did go and get DS shoes checked and bought him a new pair, I love his shoes! We got him these. I was very, very proud of myself though as the clarks is in mothercare and made it in and out without getting sentimental over the baby clothes, which is normally hard enough at the best of times coz they are soooo cute!

I've got an eyebrow shaping and hair colour and cut booked for this afternoon - and I'm a bit nervous as I've booked it at a new salon that I've not been to before - its very close to me and quite new, but it looks very nice. Will let you know if I'm pleased or not later

(NJ - I saw you made it into MorningPapers weekly round up - its always sex with you isn't it I don't know anyone that gets it as much as you do !)

calsworld · 08/09/2008 09:09

x-posted GYo, morning!

Dalrymps · 08/09/2008 09:19

Morning everyone!

Ses, sorry you are feeling so anxious. I don't really know what to suggest, as you say, no one can offer you that ultimate reassurance. I think getting a scan would be a starting point. The only other thing would be to relax as much as possible, for eg; have nice long baths, listen to hynotherapy cd's etc etc. I know relaxing won't take the worry away but it might make you feel a little better.

Have skimmed over the rest but forgotten a lot of it, sorry!

Am trying to limit myself to coming on here twice a day as I feel i'm neglecting dh a bit

Be back later for my 2nd dose

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 08/09/2008 09:20

Morning

Yep water is back on, it is full of air bubbles though so have had major tantrum from DS1 that he wasn't brushing his teeth with 'white' water. I won

Tink, hope she has a good day again

Ses, agree with everyone (again) all of this you are feeling is completely normal, and probably more importantly, understandable. Good luck with ringing them today.

Cal, "I don't know anyone who gets it as much as you do" - obviously that can't include Sunday morning sex?! I expect even the nuns get it more than me on a Sunday morning!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 08/09/2008 09:43

hiya all... the medicine isn't holding off very well against my bad sickness, so i'm being very sick in the mornings still... not so nice

have had a busy weekend too so not been about much... was my mums 40th party on saturday which went really well, she didn't suspect a thing till she saw us all there!! its her actual birthday today so i better make sure i phone her later.

also one of my friends who is a surrogate (met her when i was going to be a surrogate) has just given birth to surrogate twin girls... they are just beautiful!! have been making a card and will hopefully get out for a little gift tomorrow!!

haven't had chance to catch up... will go back and read up now!!

Diege · 08/09/2008 09:43

Morning!! At home today having swopped my day off (Fri) for Monday (have to work Friday) - plus I get the joy of waiting in for the fridge . They have given us a time slot of 10.45 to 3.45 - really helpful that so I'll be in trouble re: school run if it's 3ish.. Plus we had to wait till 10pm last night to find out when slot was.
Anyway, better than work!
LOL at not having Sunday morning sex - can I presume you do it every day but Sunday then?? and not .
Shoes are great Cals , and well done you in Mothercare .
Hi Dal, GYO, TINKS

Diege · 08/09/2008 09:44

Oh and how was I to see Andy Murray won!!! My poor Rafa...

GYo · 08/09/2008 09:52

Hi everyone
I've decided im allergic to work... when Im here I feel knackered, sick and get heartburn. At the weekend and when im at home I dont feel half as bad.... clearly a sign!

Definately a work allergy...

Hi Glask, Diege, Dal

enjoy eyebrow shape, i try and do mine myself look not too bad.
nj glad for water lol @ white bubbles
diege good luck with fridge

well i have done all my jobs - looking @ which school dd will go 2 next sept, was thinking of appyling online how do other people apply?

now i am going to relax and watch who do you think you are with some chocolate

calsworld · 08/09/2008 10:17

Sex on sunday mornings, hmmmm think I remember that once !!

Tink, I normally do mine myself but after a while, they kind of lose the original shape, I like them quite thin and if I don't stay on top of them they end up really bushy and I can't get them back to what they should be - so I go get them re-shaped and then maintain them again. Can't remember them ever being this bushy though!

Diege - I have a slot of 7am to 5pm for my mattress which is arriving on Thursday!!! Actually, they said they'd ring 24 hours before to narrow the slot down a bit - but 7am!

Dal - at you 'rationing' yourself, see you later I guess

GYo - I'm def. allergic to work too at the best of time, although it was significantly worse when I was pg. Its the extra tiredness that makes it so much worse during pg.

Glask - sorry the drugs aren't doing the job for you - perhaps you should see the doc again?

Playingthe9monthwait · 08/09/2008 11:08

Morning all,

Thought I would check in as I've been absent for a while. Not read what I've missed but quickly skimmed the last 2 pages. Sorry to hear people are struggling with MS, I am also one of them I'm afraid. Thought it was getting better but last week it came back with avegence and just couldn't keep any food down so ended up giving in and having last week off work and getting meds from the gp. Meds are helping but not stopping it, ah well at least I can eat again ans mostly keep it down. Am 14 weeks now, surely it will stop soon .

GYo - I too am def allergic to work. I do feel much more ill at work then at home, I can just about cope with bad MS tucked up on the sofa but when you're at your desk trying to work it is unbearable.

Ses- obviously by the change of name you got a BFP. Congratulations.

Cosmo - congratulations on a healthy scan.

Umm, can't remember anthing else I was going to say now and I'm sure there was more...

Oh well, hope everyone else is doing ok.

Diege · 08/09/2008 11:59

Hi Playing, good to hear from you Sorry that the sickness is still with you - hopefully not too long now - you're on the final stretch!
Glask - would it be worth going back to GP for stronger meds? From experience they start you off on the cheap stuff and will consider the expensive as need be. I'd def. arrange an appointment if I were you.
SES, forgot to mention how helpful the Miscarriage Assocaition were to me (apologies if you know them back to front). I'm sure they'd be more than happy for you to contact them with your anxiety - they have been great e-mail support to me, and really understood my anxieties about trying again.
CALS, 7am can you imagine!!!! Worst thing is you'll have to be in a reasonable state by then even if they turn up at 5!
Well, had a call from delivery men to say fridge should be with me in 5 mins (that was a hour ago Arghhh!!! Want to start cooking lunch but don;t want to be interrupted!

calsworld · 08/09/2008 12:21

Diege I know! DH hasn't twigged yet and I'm hoping when they call on Weds to narrow the window that they will say afternoon. I am very, very excited at the prospect of my new mattress and mattress topper I only hope it lives up to my expectations.

Playing, good to hear from you, was beginning to wonder if everything was OK with you. Sorry its been so hard for you, and hope it gets better soon.

Diege, I got some leaflets from the MA, and DH rang them to find out if there was anyone I could talk to, and he got some phone numbers of some people around my area - but that's been it - is there something I'm not tapping into?

Diege · 08/09/2008 12:34

Cals, they have a great website where you can download all their leaflets, plus other useful bits and bobs. They also have e-mail contact details and responded when I e-mailed them within 48 hours. Was very impressed tbh. maybe worth a try for you? [smile[.
Arghh, fridge van is here

Cosmogirl · 08/09/2008 12:42

Hi ladies,

Thanks for scan congrats. So glad we went for it.

Nat - our scanner is on the blink so haven't been able to upload the images.

Playing - sorry to hear you are still suffering - that is rubbish . My mw did say it should settle by 16 weeks. I still feel like poo (11 weeks tomo). Luckily work have been pretty good so far and after having two weeks of being signed off I have been told I can work from home until I feel ok to go back in. What meds are you on? If mine gets worse might have to go and see the GP, but because my MS is mainly nausea and dry heaving, not actual throwing up, I don't know if they would be able to give me anything.

Still haven't been able to face a hot dinner yet and tend to go to bed at about 7 most nights! Can't wait until I get to the stage where I might actually be able to enjoy being pregnant!

Diege · 08/09/2008 12:59

Aww Cosmo - you will get tp that blooming stage I promise, and it will be hard remembering how awful you felt - strange but true!
Well fridge is huge!! Didn't realise it had to stand for 12 hours so back to the freezer packs for another day!

Cosmogirl · 08/09/2008 13:02

Ok - I'm holding you to that Diege!!

calsworld · 08/09/2008 13:13

I think I ought to get out of bed....

And maybe have a shower...

And have something to eat...

I've been promising myself a lazy day and after a manic weekend (at least it felt it as was first 'normal' weekend since mc) thought it should be today.

I'm starving though so am going to have to give up my cozy sanctuary and have a shower, and get dressed or I'm gonna miss my appt!

Diege · 08/09/2008 13:24

Enjoy your pampering Cals

Can't believe BBC aren't televising US Open tonight . Will have to listen to 5Live instead - hardly the same thing

Cosmogirl · 08/09/2008 13:34

Yeah, that's no fair! Think it is on Sky Sports but we don't have it
