Excellent news GYO!! . Didn't realise you were having nuchal - always a bit nerve wracking! Hu TINKS, lovce the sound of those sheets - very cute! -
Well we are finally back in from school after having to return for dd2's sodding lunchbox and despite waterproofs and umbrellas are still wet through! Poor dd3 had a few inches of water in her wellies despite having waterproof trousers and coat wqith trousers over boots . Anyway, on home stretch now - roll on their bedtime!

GYo · 05/09/2008 16:52

added two pictures....

WOW!!!!!!!

calsworld · 05/09/2008 17:00

GYo, what a lovely picture that top one is - so clear! You must be very happy, I'm really pleased for you .

Great news on the nuchal too - a bit surprised at them telling you to take caffeine to get the baby moving again! I've not heard of that before...

I've been at DS' nursery for an hour or so playing with him there, it was really nice, the staff and other kids were lovely too - and I saw DS' friends mum too so was able to set up a 'playdate' for next weekend, we're off to a big playbarn place. Felt a bit when I had to admit I hadn't been to any of the ones in our area with DS...but I didn't think it was that normal to go nearly every week either!

SesHasapinkline · 05/09/2008 17:00

They are really clear GYo - definitely fanatastica!

GYo · 05/09/2008 17:02

Lol re fantastica!

thanks Ses

Have you got weekend plans?

SesHasapinkline · 05/09/2008 17:05

DH and I are off to a charity black and white ball tomorrow night!
Bought a new dress a few weeks ago and it's quite tight around the middle.... I'm feeling quite bloated so hope that it fits and isn't uncomfortable!

I can't tell you how great those pictures look. It really brings home to me how worth all the stress and tears are to be able to have this longed for baby. Congratulations

GYo · 05/09/2008 17:13

Party sounds like fun Ses. Love that kind of do... do you mind not drinking?

Thanks - you are right, it really is stressful and emotional at times but worth it all... feel such sense of relief now, even though there is always a small chance that things can go wrong its tiny- I feel like I will enjoy it now...

tinkhasanactivebean · 05/09/2008 17:20

hi ses

GYo · 05/09/2008 17:23

LOL cool...

realised that question made me sound like a right boozer! I just miss my glasses of wine...

Slightly tempted now in 2nd trimester....

OP posts:
SesHasapinkline · 05/09/2008 17:24

Oooh er yes I miss my wine as well....

We had our wedding reception at a vineyard - was beautiful and the wine didn't run out!!

Diege · 05/09/2008 17:38

Wow GYO those are amazing!!! It's great to get peace of mind, and you'll have a wonderful weekend now that you've had such a great scan . Oh and on caffeine front my midwife used to advise a cup of coffee and choocy bar if movements weren't too frequent ; certainly worked, poor thing went crazy, but found iced water equally as effective (though not half as tasty)
SES, weekend plans sound brilliant!
We're planning on going to farmers market in town tomorrow, but am thinking twice after looking at weather forcast!

GYo · 05/09/2008 17:47

Thanks Diege and everyone else..

Think Iced water might be better next time... while nice 500ml of real coke and a twirl made me feel rather green on the way home!

Morning!!! Hope everyone is well. Nothing much doing here - dds screaming like banshies as we try and get them dressed and out. Hoping to get the farmer's market if weather holds, and I need to do a massive sort out ready for e-bay.
Speak later! xxx

Dalrymps · 06/09/2008 11:23

Morning ladies!

Horrible and wet and blustery here, feel all cosy here in my dressing gown though, really should get dressed

Cosmogirl · 06/09/2008 11:53

Congrats on the good scan GYo - really pleased for you.
Reading this thread can be tough at times with all the talk of food. I haven't eaten a hot dinner in 5 weeks . Starting to think this nausea is never going to stop..

I weighed myself this morning and am now 9 stone when I started out at nearly 10. Ribs are sticking out - yick...If it goes on maybe I need to speak to GP about anti-nausea drugs but am really worried about taking anything..

tinkhasanactivebean · 06/09/2008 12:17

we now have a viewing @ 4:15pm we are showing them, around so crossing fingers

Diege · 06/09/2008 12:50

Red hot here now...bizarre weather! COSMO, having had hyperemesis myself I really feel for you. I have taken the anti-sickness meds (stemitil)after not being able to keep even water down, and they have been used for so many years now on pregnant women that they are considered safe by the majority of health practitioners. I would certainly think about seeing someone if your sickness doesn't abate soon. They don't usually take away the nausea, but they do stop you from being sick, which should help with your weight loss. I do feel for you though - the sickness is so debilitating .
Hi Dal! Hopefully some of our sun will wing its way to you soon. There are balck clouds looming though .
TINKS - do I detect a hint of xmas shopping plans in your post? . Dolls house sounds great - my 3 have had years of fun out of ours .
Right, best get on as dh has taken dds out so I can hoover .
