OMG BSL, sorry about the X-posts and not seeing the results at the docs.

I can so understand that you feel really upset right now. Did the doc say that there could have been an issue with the test? What do they mean by "normal sperm"? I hope that you've tried to enjoy your birthday evening, even considering all that.

So house news isn't great unfortunately. Finally got confirmation that the mortgage has been approved today. We've taken out a mortgage where the lender is happy for people to use a personal loan as part payment for the deposit (which most banks/building societies don't), however, because they've done a credit search to get the mortgage approved, I tried to apply for the loan today through another bank and they didn't approve it. Instead they're referred the application to the underwriters. We're asking for £15k so I'm hoping that as the money was quite a bit, that maybe that's why they're being extra careful. We won't hear now for 5 days so I'm really worried that we won't get it and then we won't be able to afford to get the house.... anyone want to lend us £15k?

So it's still a waiting game. I then found out that because the mortgage was approved, the estate agents took £739 from my bank account for the survey!!! So we may end up with a survey on a house that we can't buy and we can't get the money back!! I just burst into tears when I went onto my internet banking and saw what they'd done!!

Anyway, everyone else has got problems so I'm just going to shut up now!!

Welcome back MAF good to hear from you. They can put cat flaps in almost everything now - my friend has one in her wall!! You must be fed up not having your DW/P living with you. And sorry to hear the boys are going through it at the mo, i shall send my virtual hug vibes your way //////

Baby dust and yoghurt pot success for us all **

bluestarlavender · 25/09/2008 22:20

Just got in!!

Baby Bells is such a sweetie and I love her,e even though I want to kidnap her too! Had a nice meal...so that was good!

Dawn - Rah! about the house!! I really hope things work out! But hun, we are all here for you! We've all got pants stuff to deal with, but I think listening to other people's pants stuff really helps to put things into perspective! I don't wish bad things to happen to anyone, but I read your post and thought 'Poor Dawn, that's awful' and it made me think a lot less about feeling sorry for myself! always happy to listen and try to support!

MAF - sorry to also hear your boys have had bad news!! Can you let me know about your acupuncture too? I am thinking about somethinglike that for both me and DH! Sounds blissful!

Summerbird - great news about no signs of AF!! Someone on our thread from the original 4 should be getting a BFP!! It's three out and you left! That would make my month, for you to get a BFP! I have my fingers and toes crossed! I have spotting,so I'm def out! !

Waves to everyone, sorry for that lack of personal messages today...it's been long and tough.

I promise to be bright and perky and back to CD1 optimism tomorrow!

I love you guys (one glass of wine too many!)!

Hi all,

Sorry to moan, just feeling really down today. I think working 14 hour days, problems with the house and TTC have all taken their toll.

At the moment DH is on earlies so leaves for work at 5.30am. I then get up at 6.30am, take Tilly out, shower, have breakfast and start work at 8.00am. I then finish at around 10pm and go to bed. I see DH for about half an hour at dinner time and that's it.

We only managed to TTC 4 times around OV time, but I don't think I'm PG. Looked at my chart today and overlayed other similar charts to mine and they were all OV charts... But then maybe that's a good thing since we might not have a house to bring any DC up in anyway...

Sorry guys if I've ruined your Friday with my moaning already. I really should feel grateful that I have a lovely DH, a job which pays well, a good family and my lovely doggy and kitty...

Anyway, going to see that other psychic on Monday, maybe she'll cheer me up...

BSL, I hope that you had a lovely birthday, it sounds like you enjoyed your time with the little one. Hopeing you're feeling better today.

Summer Keeping everything crossed for you that you don't get AF today.

Hey MAF, Questions and anyone else that I might have missed out....

saz007 · 26/09/2008 08:46

Morning all,

Summerbird I'm doing fine thanks apart from sore ()() (they really hurt - sorry TMI) and slight queasiness but I'm still sure I shouldnt be feeling sick yet?
Soooo when will you be testing??? lol My fingers are well and truly crossed for you hun!!

MAF Glad to hear from you, but sorry that your boys are going thru times.

Dawn I really really hope things work out with the house. As for your chart, I've never done or seen one of these so would be of no help whatsoever, but it could still work out. Also sorry to hear that your work is making you not have much time with DH

BSL glad you had a nice night and that you enjoyed the vino no seriously, I'm glad you had a good night and the little 'un cheered you up

It's a weird foggy day today

summerbird · 26/09/2008 10:26

I am trying not to get excited but still no AF symptoms, i am trying to tell myself that it wouldnt do to get PG this month if i get a job interview but i know that i would be absolutely over the moon!!! I am only on CD29 14DPO but you can set your clock by my doings so will keep you posted.

Dawn

also Dawn i do understand about your current situ as my colleagues husband works really long hours and she has a 2 year old and unborn child also to deal with. She is really upset about it and i am trying to cheer her up too. Things will look up and i am sure you will get your house. If you dont then it is not meant to be and a much nicer house is on the horizon for you.

BSL i love it when we hit the internet after a bottle of wine!!!

saz here's to sensitive (.)(.)'s aww bless!

big waves to everyone else //////

DawnAS · 26/09/2008 10:43

Ooh Summer, I've got a good feeling about you this month... I'm keeping everything crossed for you!!

Saz, how are you feeling? I note that your boobs are sore. Mine are too but I can't use that as a possible symptom because mine have been like that since the last PG. Never suffered with it before so quite annoying really!! So what stage are you at now, how many weeks, I've lost count!!

Hope everyone else is Ok...

xxx

saz007 · 26/09/2008 10:58

I have a good feeling about Summerbird too

Dawn my boobs are never sore, it's not usually even a symptom of AF, so its a bit odd to have them feeling like this for the past few days. I'm 6+2 now (I think that's how you note it) it feels like it should be longer...time is dragging
I'm also well and truly knackered! Twice this week I've feel asleep on the sofa at 9pm I have been suffering from cold this week so I thought it might be that, but I just feel exhausted all the time. Sorry will stop moaning now

bluestarlavender · 26/09/2008 11:39

Morning all,

Firstly, I'm happy to announce that as predicted I am back to CD1 optimism today! I have also decided I'm moving my birthday this year to Sunday 28th, instead of yesterday. It's Bella birthday on Sunday and it'll be a much happier day, so I'm going to enjoy the day though her!

Summerbird - aaarh! I can't bear the wait...I hope it's your month!! How cool would that be!

Dawn - I'm so sorry you're having a bad time of it at work at the moment! Do you think it will ease up a bit soon? My job has big peaks and toughs...so I put lots of hours in one week and then can take them back the next. I have the comfort, when I'm working crazy hours, in knowing I will reach a lull soon! I hope the Psychic has some good news for you too!! Fingers crossed for the house and everything too!

MAF - Hehe! About ordering things! I have to go back down the bottom today...CD 1 cycle (blardy)# 4

Saz - The no wine rule for you is well worth it!! How are you feeling?? I hope MS doesn't get you too badly. I think I secretly want to get a little bit of MS if I get PG, just so I get to experience it! Pathetic, isn't it!

Questions - I learned so much about my body on my first cycle. It really opened my eyes to how much I hadn't noticed until I started TTC! Good luck with it all!

Lynsey - thanks for all the advice! DH and I are definitely going on a health drive after next weekend. It's DH's birthday next Friday, so we'll wait and get the birthdays out of the way and then start.

Wishin - what is black cohosh??? And what does parsley tea do?

I've read somewhere that going vegan can help fertility...? I think I stand more chance of winning the lottery, than getting DH to try that one though!

Back to work!

BSL x

summerbird · 26/09/2008 12:38

oo you are all teasing me now!! i really dont know what to think, as have no symptoms of either AF or PG.

I just had a reality check though, my friend is going through the adoption process and has just lost out on a newborn baby to another couple i have recommended MN to her as they have a whole adoption section. they so deserve to have a baby!

anyway work has settled down for me now, the mean girls are being nice as pie which wont last long but am making the most of it!!

Happy Friday everyone!

questions2008 · 26/09/2008 15:41

ooh I'm so excited about possible BFP's on here, it's like witnessing a birth or something! fingers crossed for you!

I just ordered some pre-seed from ebay

BubbaP · 26/09/2008 16:04

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I haven't left you. I'm still trying to keep up to date with everything that's happening...

Crunchy, Masala, Dawn, and MAF - sorry to hear that you're having a tough time at the moment.
BSL ? glad to hear you?re feeling more positive.
Summerbird ? sounds promising, keep us posted!
Vix - sorry that your AF arrived.
Saz ? glad to see you?re still on here. I haven?t suffered much from MS so far ? fingers crossed it stays that way!
Flirty and Hever - hope you?re both OK and that your beans are well too!

And a very BIG WELCOME to Questions, Wishin, Lynsy, TBONTB, Thandeka, Michelle - this is a fab and very lucky thread!

Well, things have been pretty eventful for us. Unbelievably, we have had 3 deaths in the family over the last 10 days, my DH's uncle died unexpectedly last week and two of my elderly relatives have died this week.

But on a positive note, my little Welsh bean appears to be doing well - I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow!

I had my 1st midwife appointment this week - there was so much information and so many questions, but it feels more real now! I'm waiting to get the date through for my 1st scan - will be really glad to have it.

Lots of hugs and babydust to you all **
bubxx

summerbird · 26/09/2008 16:53

bub i am soooo sorry to hear your sad news, hope you are looking after yourself though, amd am glad to hear the little bean is behaving itself!

question for those in the know - is EWCM a symptom? i used to get it all the time but not so much now, but have got some today.

crunchynutter · 26/09/2008 18:38

Ladies that you for all your kind words. Sorry I have yet again been AWOL! Have been busy at work and have done 2 13 hour days this week without managing to come home. I'm sooo glad it's Friday!!
bubapp I'm really sorry for your news. I hope you and DH are ok
BSL I hope you are ok and get some more answers soon. I completely understand why you are angry.
dawn I'm sorry about your difficulties. I think everybody is just being overly cautious at the moment-you should be able to get your loan though. Don't give up!

I am much happier today though ladies! My sister in law has had her baby! (the one I threw my baby shower for ) we are going up to see him tomorrow and I am soo excited! I told some of my kids today though and they started telling me how I should have a baby and how if be a great mom I laughed along and told them I was going to have twins or I may steal this baby tomorrow but I felt like shouting IM TRYING!! LOL.

Anyway...I am off to buy some Angus cactus (thank you for the link-you are a star!) and am going to book myself in for a session with a reflexologist. My sister has a very good axcupuncturist bit the first session is £90 and I just can't afford that. Reflexology is only £15 so I shall try that first. Lots of people on the other thread have said t worked so I am going to give it a go!

crunchy xx

summerbird · 26/09/2008 19:14

heylottie · 26/09/2008 19:52

Oh my goodness this thread is INCREDIBLE - or maybe it's those clearblue thingies?!!! Well done summerbird that's great - and here's to many more for the rest of us before Xmas! x

summerbird · 26/09/2008 20:15

thank you so much - we rang the parents tonight and they are thrilled!

i am sending bucketloads of baby dust for my comrades - and i am sticking on this thread as you are all fabulous and supportive
* i feel a little bad though as all of us have had a pretty crap week, i am still sending my now legendary summerbird good vibes ////////

we are however being cautious for the next few weeks, only telling parents and my sisters, as we realise only too well that the next few weeks are crucial, i cant believe it!!!

that is me teetotal for the next 9 months! never gone that long in my life!!!

bluestarlavender · 26/09/2008 22:00

AAAAh!! Summerbird - see!! One in four of us always gets a BFP!!! You've made my cycle! I am so happy for you!! So....no calling to organise that x-ray of your tubes!!
