Congrats hever that's fantastic news!!!!!

You and Flirty should stick around on here with us. Hopefully it won't be long till we all graduate

DawnAS · 19/08/2008 08:50

Morning all!!

Well, my MC was only two weeks ago, so I'm not sure... and I've asked the question but it sounds like everyone's situation is different... Some people get their AF after 3 weeks, some people don't get it for 6 weeks. Also, because I've started TTC straight away (a week after the MC), if I get PG, I won't know when my AF was due!!

So, if I base it on my old cycle of 35 days, if I hadn't become PG before, my AF would have been 23rd July, which would have meant my next AF will be 27th August (next Wednesday). If it carries on like that, I would have OVd last weekend. So we started BDing last Friday and have BDd every other day and will continue to do so until I either get AF or get some PG symptoms . I did get some AF type cramps yesterday but with no blood and that's how my Implantation bleed started last time and would work if I had OVd last week.

But the bottom line is that I really don't know where I am in my cycle. So I just have to wait and see....

Hope all you girls with little beans are doing well!!

Hoping AF doesn't show for you girls for this weekend!!

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is well. I have had a bit of good news this morning .... not a BFP yet but I have had the results back from my first round of clomid and it HAS made me ovulate!! Woo Hoo!!

My AF is due around Sunday so fingers crossed she doesn't turn up and the good news can keep on coming!! If not I am feeling more positive about next month!!

xx

FlirtyThirty · 19/08/2008 12:14

heverhoney1 · 19/08/2008 12:25

Well I dont know how to feel this morning. Last night I did two tests both came up with 2 (Not hugely strong but very there and very before 3 mins)lines. This morning I did another 1 with FMU and there was next to nothing there. There was a line if you looked hard enough but no real colour to it. So I not dont know if I am up the duff or not . Is this kind of thing likely with a chem preg or might it just be a freaky test??

FlirtyThirty · 19/08/2008 12:32

Invest in a Clear Blue Digital test - it will spell out 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant'.
Sorry about the uncertainty...

Are you overdue AF or testing early?

Flirty x

heverhoney1 · 19/08/2008 12:41

I have really irregular cycles but I reckon I am testing early fron OV signs. I know I should wait a few days but I really want to know. Me being me I thought - 2 lines thats it I am preggers!! Lucky I didnt tell my mum eh

heverhoney1 · 19/08/2008 12:46

I know how much I wanted this but I never realised untill last night how much my DP wanted it too. He was so so happy, telling me how good a dad he was going to be (as if I didnt know that already)This morning I felt as much as I was letting him down as anything else.

I know I might still be pregnant I just feel like its over and it was a Chemical pregnancy. It is hard trying to explain that one to DP, trying to explain that it looks like swimmer met egg but it just didnt want to hold on to me

FlirtyThirty · 19/08/2008 14:19

Hever...you are getting WAY ahead of yourself. You do not know this is a chemical pregnancy! Hold your horses. Wait util you think you're a good 16 DPO and then re-test. I know it's hard honey, but you will just worry yourself silly otherwise.

When did you OV?

Flirty x

bluestarlavender · 19/08/2008 15:06

Hever - I'm having a bad day too, hun! And Flirty gave me good sensible advice on the Bonkers thread this morning. (Thanks, Flirty) I totally agree with what she's just said. Don't panic or make any assumptions yet!!

Someone else also scolded me for testing early too and said to wait til after AF is due...they are right!

I'm sorry you are having a hard time and going through this!

Ah...Bluestar...that's so sweet.
It is amazing how quickly we all get depressed, stressed and think the worth on this TTC journey. Every day takes on such massive proportions when you're counting every one, either up to OVing or on the 2WW! We must all be kind and gentle with ourselves and try and keep a sense of perspective somehow... or failing that, come on here and pour our hearts out and venht frustrations. I'ma big believer that it's cathartic to just get it all out...all those niggling worries at the back of the mind. They take over if you let them; voice them and their power diminishes...

Thinking of you both today...

Flirty x

saz007 · 19/08/2008 15:21

Hever don't feel bad. Wait until after AF is due and test again (I know it's easier said than done) And you haven't let anyone down, don't think that

I totally understand the impatience tho

Flirty is giving good advice

Vix67 · 19/08/2008 18:30

Thanks Flirty keeping my fingers crossed!!

Hever really hoping it all stays good for you, please try and not stress yourself too much!! Keep us posted xx

makingafamily · 19/08/2008 19:56

Hey Ladies

Well we are back from our Honeymoon and what an amazing day we had and i'm loving married life Have put a few pics on profile.

Flirty OMG Thats brilliant

Hever and BSL just hold on in there until after AF is due. (Although god knows what i'm gonna be like next month)

DawnAS · 19/08/2008 20:39

Hey MaF, welcome back - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Your photos look fab - but we need more!! A good close up of you as a couple would be lovely (not just 'cos we're girlies and want to take a closer look at your dress... )!!

It's so lovely to have you back and I believe the sun shined for you didn't it? I remember it being quite nice on Thursday! I bet you got a bit wet at the V Festival though didn't you?!

Hey Hever, it's really difficult at this stage to keep your feet on the ground and chill out about things. But try to stay positive and give yourself a few days. I didn't test until DPO13 and my line was dark and came up quickly, but not as dark as the control line. So please try to chill out. All tests are different too, did you use the same kind each time?

BSL, hope you're feeling a bit better to. I think we can all be a bit more honest on this thread because we're all in the same boat. I do feel a little guilty moaning on the other thread when there are women on there who are on Cycle number 12 and haven't managed to get PG yet. But I do sometimes almost think it's harder right at the beginning, because like you said this morning, what more could you have done. It just doesn't make sense that it doesn't work when you're BDing every day. Then there are (apparently) 13 and 14 year olds that PG the first time they have sex (I'm not calling it BDing because it's not really for them...). It doesn't seem at all fair and it doesn't make sense. But all I can say is, when your body is ready, it will happen.

Hope everyone else is OK today!!!

xxx

heverhoney1 · 20/08/2008 00:27

Thanks for all the support guys /i really needed it. Still dont feel very positive but no actual sign of Af yet - though knowing me that does not mean much.

WELCOME BACK MAF. I am glad you had a lovely day and honeymoon. We raised a toast to you and did a bit of virtual boogieing!!!

BLUESTAR - TTC is not nearly as much fun as I thought it would be. I thought I would just get into a little routine for a few months and it would just happen. I did not realise I would become a moodswinging obsessive!!! It is good to know that other people do it too though! We are not mad we just madley want a family!! And it sucks that people who dont want babies seem to do it so easily!!!

bluestarlavender · 20/08/2008 09:05

Morning guys!

Hever - how's you this morning??

Dawn - I didn't think about it like that, but you're right about the other thread.

MAF - welcome back! How was your wonderful day and the V festival??

Waves to everyone else!

Hey everyone! Wow I missed a lot!!

Flirty big congratulations! I'm so pleased for you!!

Hever hang in there, hopefully if you wait a while longer you will get a strong BFP!

Vix great news about the chlomid, glad your ovaries are working!!

BSL Keeping my fongers crossed for you!

Hello to everyone

My week is going soo slowly, my mum is here and driving me mad. Yesterday she actually said "I'll feel so sorry for your children when you have them your so impatient" I'm just so glad that when I do have children I won't be in the UK so she won't be able to visit all the time (I know its bad but its tre) she really is such a know it all. Constantly "me me me" I can't wait till the weekend when she leaves and I( go on holiday!! yey!!

Well AF has arrived (as I knew it would) and Mission Mooncup has comensed!! First things first, very easy to put in, more difficult to take out and position correctly but not impossible. PITA when out and about as you have to rinse before you re insert, so imagine in Manila public restrooms squatting over the toilet trying to rinse the damn thing with bottled water, twas not easy I tell you!! But other then that going ok!!

Anywho AF arrived, as we didn't have proper sex last month I knew it would, but steps have been taken, DP finally managed to have "proper" sex last week and we are both looking forward to "letting it happen" and enjoying our vacation next week!!

Not much else to say, its raining here has been all day, thank god!! It means we don't have to go out shopping AGAIN (I love shopping but every day and for bloody eooden buddahs and pigs and giraffes is just too much!) as my mum is scared it might flood and we would get washed away

At least she brought me some salad cream and marmite out!!

Vix67 · 20/08/2008 10:35

Morning everyone,

Hope you're all well this morning!! I am starting to get a few twinges in my tummy so have a bad feeling my AF is going to turn up!! She's due around Sunday!!

Aaaahhh I am so impatient just want to be PG RIGHT now and agree with you when you say it isn't as much fun as i thought it would be!! I am too busy thinking .... is this the right day, has it happened, have the swimmers reached my egg , now legs up for half an hour!!!!!!!

Oh well I will keep you all posted!!

Welcome back MAF glad you had a great wedding and honeymoon!! xx

bluestarlavender · 20/08/2008 10:57

Vix - sorry, hun. In all my wallowing yesterday, I forgot to say YAY about the clomid working!! I hope the twinges aren't AF!! It would be lovely if you got a BFP this weekend!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

B - I was wondering where you got to!! That was the only thing that put me off the mooncup! Maybe two might be useful, that way you can always have a clean one to put in before cleaning up the one you just took out! I also totally get what you mean about family. I love seeing mine and miss them loads when I don't, but after a few days of being with them 24/7, they can get very annoying! I feel awful when I snap though, but I'm sure I get on their nerves too!

Morning all,

Welcome back MAF and congrats again! Hope you had a cracking day and enjoyed the honeymoon.

I know what you mean about TTC not being as much fun as I thought it would be!! After being so careful when I was on the pill, I thought it would be really easy once I started TTC. It's now turning into some sort of millitary operation and that can't be good...I've even got the 'planned BD days' marked in my dairy - how sad and obsessive am I?

B hope your week gets better and you enjoy your holidays next week

Vix67 · 20/08/2008 11:18

Thanks BSL!! I am getting obsessed about going to the loo every 2 seconds to check for any signs of AF, sorry TMI ha ha

Have a great day everyone xx

summerbird · 20/08/2008 14:37

Hey guys i am back from soggy wales! no BDing in the tent as the weather was so crap and it didnt feel right but our posh hotel in Bath was amazing.

And i come back to not one but TWO BFPs!!!! Congrats flirty and heverhoney (and hang on in there heverhoney - you are getting ahead of yourself and i am sure you are fine girl).

Please dont leave us girls until we are all there!! I would miss you!

Oops DH is back with my doughnuts so had better go - hi to everyone else - i missed you all xx

FlirtyThirty · 20/08/2008 14:59

Hi di hi ladies...how's trix?

MAF - Congratulations! Welcome to the Institution! Glad you had such fun...I loved my wedding too!

Hever - how you doing today?

Summerbird - welcome back! Sorry about the rain and lack of action...I can completely understand! Glad Bath was fun...have made a note of that for a mini-break!

Saz - I too had marked my diary with BD dates...you are not alone!

Bonifacio - hello, my sweet. Be calm with your mother...she is only with you for a short time. How's the quest for some intellectual stimulation going? Have you looked into courses yet? Keep me posted...

As for me...still not the glimmer of a symptom. But have made my booking in appointment with midwife (16 Sept), so wheels are slowly turning. GP surgery is proving to be as crap as I knew they were. Zero information. Had to call the hospital to ask about booking in...they were very helpful but felt awful having to disturb them.
