well it's too early for AF anyway, so cant be that. Maybe just some random drop? See what it does tomorrow

Sparkly08 · 22/08/2008 17:26

Hello all.
Symptoms have started to kick in but am managing to eat little and often. Had a lovely relaxing morning reading in bed and then an afternoon meeting a friend and her baby. It's so lovely to see the sun!!!

HTGG Hope TEW didn't find you! MY GP is female and really nice normally. We could afford to go for an early scan but I think I'll just sit it out with crossed fingers.
Mollie How is life without MSN virginity?? How are you feeling today?
Emmsy Went to visit my friend yday and she's doing ok at the moment. Thanks for asking. Are the results back from your sample?

Hi to everyone else. Have a fab weekend.

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 22/08/2008 17:28

Hello lovely ladies. Am thinking of changing my log in name to MoaningMinnie! What do you think?! Thanks for the support. Sometimes this ttc lark just gets the better of me. Anyway, deep breath. And I will step away from the HPT's.

Fruity How was the party? Any pizza left? deep dark disgusting habit of mine is eating left over cold pizza . Oh, and Indian take away. Always tastes better the next day .

EiThe 20th is a Sat hon. Am sure this will just be the start of many get togthers. You never know, we might even graduate to going out at night. Gasp!

Mollie Glad everything went ok with your Granny. Also, really hope I didn't put my foot in it with my messahe on your FB page. hadn't realised that everyone could see it.

Piper Sore boobs always a sign with me when I'm pg. Fingers crossed for you.

Have managed to install Wimdows Live so can chat with y'all now.

How's everyone else? Hope you all have lovely Bank Holiday weekend. DH has to work so I'm off to my Ma and Pa's with DD2 to spend some time with them.

xxxxxx

FruitynNutty · 22/08/2008 19:50

Hi Georgie and Sparkly The party was manic, lots of 3/4 year olds screaming and shouting at eachother and trashing my teeny weeny flat.

I'm bored. DP out - again So that means he'll be grumpy and hungover tomorrow plus he's out Sunday night so he'll be grumpy and hungover on Monday too so I can pretty much write off having a nice time with DP this bank holiday weekend

What's everyone else doing this weekend? Or are you all away already? It's like a bloody desert in here Come on girls, I need a chat!

Sparkly I'm glad your symptoms are kicking in. It's not much fun though is it
I need to come up and see you soon, DS needs a DD fix

FruitynNutty · 22/08/2008 19:53

I might give up on the chat if no one's around after Eastenders, I've borrowed my friend's Alan Carr DVD, he sooooo funny! I was saving it to watch with DP but seeing as he can't ever be home on time I'm going to watch it by myself

FruitynNutty · 22/08/2008 19:58

I can't believe you all have a life outside MN! Or should it be

Ooh 3 minutes till 'stenders

Emmsy1 · 22/08/2008 20:03

results must be ok sparkly as haven't had any contact from MW, sure they would have called me by now if there was a significant problem
Well it's my first drive tomorrow to pick brother up since being home from my hols, only have to pick him up half way, but will be taking him back later on in the day don't feel like it, but hey ho,suppose it's my turn as SIL(who is married to my other brother) took him back once while I was away and Neil's (step) FIL even managed a trip when I was away, it's amazing how they can find other people to do it when I'm not around! I do really love my brother, just find it a bit of nuisance when I am heavily pregnant, sorry for moaning, speak soon

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 22/08/2008 21:55

hi ladies
im just checking in to say hi and me and DH are having an early night so il catch up tomorrow properly
i hope everyone is ok

Hi everyone, Saturday afternoon here and I'm listening to dh put up our new garden shed. We will soon be able to move out some of the crap from the garage into the shed
cd12 for me today, no sign of anything ovulation related happening. Thinking back, I think all 4 pregnancies were conceived at the very end of the dates the ovulation calendar gave me, so I must generally ovulate later in my cycles. Interested to see if the opk's show anything this cycle.
Found out yesterday friends are pregnant with no.2, dd1 turned 1 this week Happy for them but annoyed for me, should have either had a baby or been pregnant by now Whinge over but frustrating isn't it......
Enjoy your weekends

MollieMooma · 23/08/2008 10:32

Piper Keep up that symptom spotting
Georgie I love cold pizza, personally I think it tastes far better than when it's hot, but not too sure about cold indian When are you testing next? How many DPO are you? Don't worry about the msge on FB, I think if I decide to I can delete it
Fruity Sorry I wasn't around to chat last night
Sparkly How is your friend and DP? You OK too?
EmmsyHope the drive goes OK today, surely you won't be expected to do it for much longer?
EI Hope you enjoyed your early night
Scully Sorry to hear your feeling so frustrated, fingers crossed you catch your egg this month hun
Kate Hope you had a fab birthday
Well I think it finally hit me yesterday like a ten tonne truck! Had a bit of a crap afternoon, first time I'd been on my own and not busy and I broke down. But feel better for it now.

Sparkly08 · 23/08/2008 11:46

HTGG Moan away lovely - we are here to listen. Any news from you?
Fruity Sorry we deserted you last night. I'm feeling ok today. Have a bit of a headache and haven't managed breccie yet but I'm sure I will soon. How are you?
Emmsy Good luck for today .. it's crap that your expected to drive all that way when you have you own kids to look after and you're so pregnant xxxx
Mollie If you need to chat then you know where we are. [hugs]

Hi to everyone else. DP has taken DD swimming so I think I'll put my feet up and do some reading . Have a good day everyone.

MollieMooma · 24/08/2008 08:30

I apologise in advance of my whinge
Feeling really tearful at the moment, have managed to distract myself quite successfully over the past few days. Popped to B&Q to buy some paint yesterday saw 5 pg women in a space of 10 mins, virtually ran back to the car and bawled, how over sensitive am I? (Note to myself do not leave the house yet!) Today I'm getting severe cramps (worse than last time) so there is no hope of trying to distract my mind as they are a constant reminder. But I keep thinking of Sparkly's friend and what she's going through which is ten times worse and then I stop feeling so sorry for myself!
It's been very quiet in here, come on girls distract me with some gossip or moaning please

cricri · 24/08/2008 08:45

Mollie It's no consolation but what you're experiencing is entirely normal Be kind to yourself at the moment and cry if you have to. Mc is a bereavement and it's better if you can cry and talk about how you feel rather than bottling it all up. When are you going back to work? I hope you've taken a few days off this week, although there is also something to be said for keeping busy...
No gossip here unfortunately - DH and I are off to a christening later this morning. A friend is having two of her children christened and I'm godmother to the youngest It's raining here at the moment, which is unfortunate as they've planned a BBQ for afterwards Fingers crossed it will brighten up!
Emmsy Hope your drive yesterday went OK.
No news from Kate for a few days which is unusual - where are you hiding Kate? Still recovering from your birthday?
Hope everybody else is OK

MollieMooma · 24/08/2008 08:55

CriCri Hoping for better weather for you, we seem to have a little sun and some blue sky so I will send it your way
My med cert from the hospital runs out on Monday but Ive booked an appt to see GP Tuesday morning as I don't feel ready to go back to work yet, I can't face interviewing people at the moment. Have a fantastic time at the christening

Sparkly08 · 24/08/2008 09:42

Mollie . Please take time to grieve and look after yourself. Don't rush back to work if you're not ready...this is such a terrible time for you and people won't expect you to carry on as if nothing has happened. You musn't think of my friend either...her loss doesn't make yours less important. I can imagine that losing a baby at any stage is one of the worst things you can go through. If you need to talk then please just get in touch. xxxxxx
Cricri It's raining here too but hopefully it will brighten up in a while ready for your BBQ. Enjoy the christening!

Hi to all the rest of you quiet ladies.

FruitynNutty · 24/08/2008 10:00

Mollie I 2nd what everyone has said {{{{{{big hug from Fruity}}}}}}

Raining here too, DP has taken DS off to play football for the 1st time They will be covered in mud when they get home. Going to buy DS his 1st pair of trainers today, only for football mind! Can't bare proper trainers on their little growing feet everyday

I'm desperate to go to Boots this morning, my friend told me they have a half price sale on toys and baby stuff at my local store. She said most of it's gone already but it's worth a look. Doesn't open till 11 on a Sunday though [boring]

I think we might end up re-homing this bloody kitten. She's driving us all insane. DS can't play with her nicely, shes just started weeing and pooing everywhere even though she's been trained for ages I'm so fed up with cleaning up after her. Every time I moan about having to clean up again, DP says she's my cat and my idea to get her in the 1st place So, anyone want a very cute kitten? I'm serious!

Sparkly08 · 24/08/2008 12:21

We've just got back from church and now we are going out to get some lunch...yum!!

Mollie You feeling any better lovely?
Fruity Did he come back filthy? Sorry to hear about P being naughty. My cats still go through stages like that occasionally. Does she go out yet? Have you taken the litter tray away?

FruitynNutty · 24/08/2008 16:52

They didnt come back too filthy Brought me back a Fillet o Fish too

Phoebe still hasn't been out, although she is desperate, I haven't had her spade yet so a little anxious about letting her out with all those tom's out there.
I really must get it sorted, she needs a micro chip too.

Sparkly08 · 24/08/2008 21:08

Fruity I'd deffo get her to the vets and then get a cat flap put in...at least then she can go in and out and hopefully that will stop the accidents.

scully · 25/08/2008 04:38

Take your time Mollie, it's a lot to deal with, hope you get some more time off work
Understand your cat issues Fruity, I feel the same way about our 1yr old staffy
The dd's love him and he is very good with them, and that is his one saving grace. He chews and digs and sheds so much hair We're thinking of getting a dog whisperer to talk to him but at around $200 a go we haven't rushed into it but will need to do something soo
Had morning tea this morning with a friend I have known for 20yrs, but we hadn't seen each other in 10yrs and lost contact about 5yrs ago. I was in the UK and she was in Melbourne and I found her on Facebook and we have lived about 15km from each other for the past 18mths and not realised
cd14 for me today, going to attempt to pounce on dh today, cd16 and cd18, poor man
Hi to everyone else

Emmsy1 · 25/08/2008 06:13

hi girls, drive wasn't too bad, glad it's over though, next one not until 8th Sep, so not too bad, although I need to re-arrange my MW appt, as was booked for same day, and they only do monday appt's.

mollie I wouldn't call you over sensitive, think your behaviour is quite normal for a lady who has just lost her baby. Just try and take one day at a time and do not rush back to work. Some people cope by going back to work early and throwing them selves in at the deep end, this doesn't help in a lot of cases as you just block and suppress the grieving process and it will usually have an effect on you at a later date. Take as much time off as you need hun, would love to give you a RL big hug xxx

sparkly children got their aquarium, its an 'Elite' cool 21 set! It comes with the water conditioner, detox liquid, food, gravel, a few plastic plants & a stingray filter. Sure I've read that it can be used for salt water fish as well as regular cold water fish, but will only be using for 'cold water' fish! Still need to buy the fish, not getting them until friday as man in water world said its best to leave the tank 'set up' for approx 5-7 days to be just right for fish
fruity have you got a litter tray? My cats used to come in to use it when they were younger.I found them more of a hinderance once the children were born, because they would jump on the work tops and in the baby's pram etc... there would be hairs all over the place. Wouldn't get another cat for that very reason

Emmsy1 · 25/08/2008 06:18

Scully Wow, thats remarkable, finding someone living that near to you! 'Good old facebook' it really does come in handy! I have tried to find a few people on it, but haven't had a lot of success.

scully · 25/08/2008 08:14

dh told me that as staffy's have short hair, it wouldn't shed much hair, I beg to differ I'm amazed the dog isn't bald, the amount I sweep up off the floor each day and he only comes in for a couple of hours each evening I'm allergic to cats, dd1 would love one but there is no way that I could live with one, I'd be even grumpier than normal
I've tracked down quite a few people on FB Emmsy, mainly that I've worked with over the years, would never have made contact with them again otherwise, has been great for that
Almost dinner time here, have gone the easy route and having a pasta bake, at least I know the dd's will eat it.
Have booked dd2's christening for 21 Sept, had held off as I had hoped to have dc3 christened at the same time but as that hasn't eventuated, decided we wanted it done before she turns 3 in Dec.

MollieMooma · 25/08/2008 09:31

Fruity Sorry to hear Pheobe is playing you up! Our youngest cat was the same until we got her "done" and once she was allowed out she was fine, no accidents or naughtiness.
Scully LOL at your "bald" staffie! I'm the other way to you, allergic to dogs, DH would love one but I'm holding off at the moment
Emmsy I bet your kids are dead excited about the new pets!
Still haven't tackled my ironing mountain so today's distraction is to return to B&Q (Might stay in the car and send DH in) to buy the paint for the bathroom, tackle the ironing or paint the fence outside. But as DH is home for the day may just lie on the sofa like a vegetable and watch DVD's and then just distract myself for the rest of the week when I'm on my own (If I hopefully get a cert!)

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 25/08/2008 11:01
