Lemon cake over here please Kate . Am so glad things were better than you expected but also for you that you got upset and it brought back painful memories {{big hugs}}

Ei glad job going well and that you have sussed your chart - testing early next week then ?...

If a calcium craving means a girl then me too ! I have been craving milk and milk chocolate (I'm sure it is just the calcium my baby wants not the yummy sugar )

to all the other ladies

FruitynNutty · 13/08/2008 20:08

Kate Do you feel any better now it's a bit more out in the open with your friends? Maybe it was a good thing even if it did bring it all back iyswim? {{{{Big hugs}}}}}

Oh bloody hell I'm eating my dinner and I'm watching Embarrassing illnesses, its about piles [uuck] Just got an extreme close up, just gross. Still, nothing puts me off my dinner, even if it's only cream crackers and cheese - yes CHEESE Sparkly is your mouth watering yet?

Oh bloody hell, I think I'll have to turn this over, just seen awful Athlete foot. People are quite disgusting really aren't they

Kate please chuck me over a large slice please

teeheelaydee · 13/08/2008 20:56

Mollie Hope today was OK? (Well as Ok as it could have been) Don't worry for Monday I'm sure it will be fine. Since I found out I was PG I have had 2 m/c dreams, mind you I also dreamt last night that I had a fling with someone on BB so definately not reading too much into it! and no DP not always that romantic and thoughtful - just wait til he is back in the country and back at work and you will probably get v/different stories, but I do know he's one of the good'uns.

Kate Sounds like to did really well last night. Well done 'mature rise above' it lady and very brave to have explained how you feel. It's OK to feel you want to hide, you know. I really found that when I really got down to getting over things I kinda had to hide away and do it on my own - it's so personal to you. So my thoughts are if you want to hide for a few days do it, don't feel you have to do anything you don't want to and as you say we are all here for each other (particularly if you are going to supply lemon cake )

There's alot going on around here today and I'm sorry ladies but I am so tired so will have to re-read tomorrow. Body needs sleep!

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 13/08/2008 20:58

Oh my god Fruity have just done the same thing . Bleurgghhh at the piles close up.

Just a real quick one from me tonight as dead on my feet. Full day with the DD's, the 2 hours of ironing and email wars with builder. Sexist pig that he is. Still got raging PMT and want to hiberanate. But before I do , then Kate a large slice of your lemon cake would go down a treat.

Mollie and TeeHee Good luck with the scans. Fingers crossed for you both.

Kate least the worst is over now and you've regained a bit of control. You've got the power now so you can decide whather you want to re-build the friendship.

Sparkly I had HUGE cravings for parmesan cheese with both DD's. So ya never know.....

Hello to everyone else. Sorry, being a bit crap and not writing good post. More tomorrow when brain working.

Night. xxxxxx

mibbes · 13/08/2008 21:35

Oh Mollie I meant to say {{big hugs}} for today xx

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 13/08/2008 21:56

hi ladies
well things have gotten that bit more cryptic for me and my cycle my temp was low this morning and when i put it into FF it took my lines away and i decided to see what it did if i added the discarded temp from the other ov date and it gave me those lines back i then went th loo and i have started spotting brown/red blood and alot of mucous (TMI sorry ) but when i went to the loo before it has pretty much stopped i am completely confused!! if i oved on cd15 that makes me 17DPO and 5/6 days late for af or if i oved on cd24 that makes me 8DPO and 3/4 days early for AF and theres no indication that i may have oved in between those times so who the hell knows whats happeni eh??!!! im gettin bored of this now and want an answer either way!! oh and i have been having very low right sided pain and still have very sore achey boobs and feel queasy i havent tested today and i want to wait for a few days to see if AF shows up or not
kate im glad you managed to clear the air between you and your 'friends' im sorry it brought back awful memories and i hope you are as well as can be expected {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}

Mibbes Yey!! Bring on our baby girls .
Fruity LOL I'm off cheese again now. Maybe I'm going to give birth to a mouse?!
Teehee Hope you had a good rest. Only 1 more sleep until your scan .
Ei Sorry to hear that your body is still playing you around. Any news today?

FruitynNutty · 14/08/2008 09:29

Morning,

Oh Ei your bloody cycle I suppose only time will tell.

Are we all having baby girls then?

I've got a full house today. Got little girl mindee and big girl mindee, DS and 5 month old baby boy mindee. When they all arrive I'll be taking them all to the park so with any luck the rain will hold off just for this morning, mainly so my washing can actually dry
Also I've lent my friend the double raincover so we will all get wet

God I feel sick this morning I've been trying to eat to get rid of it but it's making me feel worse.

FruitynNutty · 14/08/2008 13:59

hmm, it's very quiet in here today.
I'm finally sitting down with my lunch. DS and big girl mindee are watching Finding Nemo I've decided my baby boy mindee (who is one of my best friend's baby) is starting to get on my nerves, he's got the largest set of lungs I've ever encountered, and that's saying something because I've been in childcare for about 10 years Takes him forever to settle down for a nap. It's taken me the best part of an hour I tried leaving him to cry but he didn't give up, in fact he got louder. So I gave him a bottle (even though he's just had his lunch) which sent him off into dream world. PEACE AT LAST!

We managed to get to the park this morning and they had a paddle in the paddling pool. In fact they got drenched then I realised I didn't bring a towel [whoopsie] I can't believe the rain hasn't come yet. I even managed to bring in DRY washing! Do I dare put another load out?

FruitynNutty · 14/08/2008 14:48

A-HA! Here's the rain now!

mibbes · 14/08/2008 16:26

Ei I really don't want to raise your hopes too much but that sounds suspiciously like an imp bleed to me - and 8dpo is exactly when you'd expect it and implantation can often cause a low temp (see my PG chart ). I really hope it is BUT be warned that after my imp dip and bleed I didn't get BFP for another 5 days so please don't test too soon, it will just p!ss you off for no good reason. (the same happened to our lovely Sparkly). If you can hold on tight for the next few days and if no AF then you have my blessing to test

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 14/08/2008 16:31

Hi Fruity. I'm here . Just got back from day out at Discovery Centre in Bracknell. Both DD's knackered and so am I! They are watching tv and I'm about to cook them some tea. Roast pork tenderloin, mashed potatos, green beans and carrots. Oh and gravy. Yum.

Am in awe of you looking after other people's kids. Just don't think I'd be able to do it. or do you have more patience with other kids than your own? Hmmmm. Still don't think I'd be able to do it .

How you feeling? Still pukey? Sometimes I found it was better to be sick. Then I'd get some relief for a couple of hours. Maybe not the best solution!

Mollie How did it go today? Scan day right?

Ei Am with you on the frustrating cycles thing. For 4 months after m/c had regular 30 day cycles and ov'd on day 14. Last month 25 day cycle and ov'd on day 11. This month no bloody idea. Sigh.

TeeHee Fingers crossed for you tomorrow. Hope all goes well.

Sparkly How you feeling today? Still on the cheese cravings?!

Hi to everyone else. Hope you're all having a good day. PMT seems to have backed off a bit so not such a bitch today .

kate2179 · 14/08/2008 16:40

Come on then mibbes, chuck us a look at your pg chart so I can give you my professional opinion

Ei. Bloody hell. There are no other words for it. And I suppose you don't even feel like a large glass of wine to help you through it. So when do you think you'll test again? Tuesday? If you are pg this is going to seem like the longest pregnancy EVER! It will definitely be worth it though

Thank you for your lovely messages about our friends... I am glad we have got things out in the open, or at least more out in the open than before anyway... It's just really hard. But we'll get there. It's the rest of the world I want to hide from, not you guys. So I'm still here! For no apparent reason I am having a slightly more optimistic day today, one where I dare to imagine that one day I might actually have a baby... long may it last! Though it's not overly strong I have to say...

kate2179 · 14/08/2008 16:43

Crossed posts Georgie, please will you cook me some tea too? Sounds YUM!

Mollie if it is scan day today, I hope it went reslly well, though I thought it was tomorrow or monday...?

cricri · 14/08/2008 17:17

Fruity I think the rain you mentioned is now heading this way... Shame because it's been lovely here today.
Kate Glad you got things out in the open with your friends but sorry it was such an emotional evening for you Hopefully it's given them something to think about and if nothing else they hopefully won't behave like that again, either with you or with anybody else. Glad you're feeling more positive anyway
Ei Sounds very promising
Teehee How is the packing going? All ready? Good luck for your scan tomorrow morning!
HTGG Your dinner sounds lovely DH is off to play golf (assuming the rain holds off) so I'm on my own this evening. Not sure what to have for dinner atm
Hope everybody else is OK.

teeheelaydee · 14/08/2008 17:50

Hello everyone. Thanks for all you wishes of luck for tomorrow. I will update you all when I get back. Had a wobbly this morning about it and so repeated to myself out loud "You will have a baby. You will have a baby" and am now back on the positive train. (Told you I was losing it didn't I)
cricri Not actually packed yet but kinda got it all together. Trying to pack light so I don't have to carry too much and DP has apparently bought me some stuff in the Zara sale in Nice so hope it's nice and fits (although the only thing that is comfy at the mo is my scuzzy trackie bottoms!) The worst thing is having to reduce the amount of books I am taking - grrr!
Kate Glad you're having a good day-you will have a little bundle one day, just keep believing. (BTW your post on knickercheckers v.v funny)
Georgie I want you tea please - I really fancy a roast.
Fruity I don't know how you do it, I am petrified at looking after one let alone a hoard.
Ei I can't believe I am going to go on holiday before you test again. I shall hunt internet cafe down to update! I know DP will want to read about football or some nonsense at some stage. We usually have some internet hunt when on hols as we are both pathetically addicted.
Sparkly How are you today? Better by the sounds of things?
Big waves to everyone else. Need to go in search of more food - starving today

kate2179 · 14/08/2008 18:34

Teehee you're not going to disappear off on holiday without giving us the full run down on your scan tomorrow are you??? [distraught emoticon] Good luck lovely lady!

(And also about knicker checkers post..!)

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 14/08/2008 18:37

hi ladies
as far as i can tell it is AF in flow now so CD1 for me today its light flow but red blood so it certainly looks like AF i asked her in the loos in work but the ignorant cow didnt answer anywho i am a bit about it but at least i have my answer and i can concentrate on cycle 10 (also about my double figure status) i have my MC clinic appointment in 2 weeks from now so i can discuss my crazy unprdictable cycles with them then
teehee good luck at the scan tomorrow and have a great time with your DH in france
hi to everyone else

scully · 15/08/2008 08:32

How frustrating Ei but that's how I felt as well, at least you know now and can focus on the next cycle.
I'm off for acupuncture later this evening, then we're having indian take away for dinner, yum
Looking forward to hearing your good scan news Teehee Aren't you spoilt, being bought things in the Zara sale, he is brave, buying clothes
HTGG your dinner sounded lovely last night, we had leftover pasta, not quite as gourmet
Not sure what it meant, but I drank loads of milk during both dd's pregnancies, craved it, and weetbix as well
Hi to everyone else

teeheelaydee · 15/08/2008 11:39

Well back from hospital and everything OK, although there wasn't much to see- just a sac but the doctor said this was normal at this stage. He said womb looks OK and no signs of bleeding. The dates they give are that I am 6 weeks today so I guess still early.

So, why do I feel less reassured rather then more. I think maybe I was expecting to see more that just a sac (that looked empty)

Anyway am going to try and forget about it for a couple of weeks and am booked in for another scan on the 1st Sept.

cricri · 15/08/2008 11:59

Teehee Glad it went well, but sorry it was a bit dissapointing. I know you were hoping to see a hb, but 6 weeks is very early so I'm sure that's all it is. I think Fruity had a very early scan a few weeks back and only saw the sac but then 2 weeks later the hb was there. It will be the same for you on 1 September In the meantime try to relax as much as possible and have a wonderful holiday. I'm very of you going to France I have to say (even though I've not long got back myself!). Have a wonderful time with DP and see you when you get back
I think everybody must be out enjoying the sunshine at the moment - all the threads are very quiet today

teeheelaydee · 15/08/2008 14:29

Thanks cricri. That makes me feel better already. I think it was just a bit emotional, going to the same place where I had my mmc confirmed and DP not being around and getting ready for hols, so I was a bit weepy when I got home.

Feel a bit better now, all packed and ready to go, wish I'd booked an earlier train now! Kinda want to get going.

Anyway Au revoir ladies and see you in 2 weeks (unless I find la internet then I might pop my head round door to see what's going on)

MollieMooma · 15/08/2008 16:15

Hi girls just a quickie, really busy at work. Thanks for your thoughts and support on Weds, much appreciated
EI So sorry, really thought this mo nth was right for you Now you'll have to join Scully with a May baby instead
Teehee Glad your scan went well, it's understable how you felt considering your circumstances. Have a fantastic relaxing holiday x
GG Scan is Monday at 9.00 am, feeling really nervous and just a tiny bit excited to see bean again. Got my booking appt with MW on Sunday too.
Hope everyone else is OK, will try and catch up properly at the weekend, off to check out the other threads now

kate2179 · 15/08/2008 17:34

Afternoon all!

Teehee I like your funny joke, you will forget about it for 2 weeks! Very funny! Good luck!
Seriously though, it sounds like your scan went really well, seems like your little one is absolutely the size he/she should be and none of us can ever ask for any more than that. I think the earliest I have ever heard of anyone seeing a hb was at 6+3 so I am not at all surprised that you didn't see one today. Even without a hb, they would have been able to tell you if things didn't look right. My first scan for my first mc (mmc) showed a sack consistent with 4-5 week size (I should have been more like 7.5) and they could tell that the shape was "irregular" whatever that means, so the fact that they were happy with you is definitely a really good sign .
Beanie will get on with growing while you are on holiday and will be there waving back at you from the scans soon! Hope you have a lovely holiday in the mean time, try not to worry (...)

Ei am gutted for you that it seems this was not to be your month. Do you use OPKs or persona? I wondered whether they might help you if you get another month with such a confusing OV... Just a thought. Hope you're ok though. How about that large glass of wine tonight?

Don't know if any of you saw the link someone posted saying that Clear Blue were looking for volunteers to try out a new pg test they're bringing out? Well I entered and today one arrived for me through the post! It looks really good, not only does it tell you pg or not pg (it's digital) but it also tells you how many weeks it thinks you are ! It says 1-2 weeks from conception, 2-3 or 3-4 and explains that that means 3-4 weeks pg, 4-5 or 5-6 (IYSWIM) Could be great for the likes of us, but I wonder if it would be confusing for less obsessive stupid people, who don't understand that 1-2 weeks from conception = 3-4 weeks pg... The other thing I thought is that it might jut give us something else to worry about - if you do a test and get a BFP when you're pretty sure you're 5 1/2 weeks pg but it says 3-4 weeks then that's something else to worry about isn't it? "My hcg levels must be lower than the test says they should be, there must be something wrong..." etc etc. In fact I'm not sure I'd consider using it apart from v early for that exact reason, cos even if it seems like your levels are low at 5 weeks somehow you've still got to get through the next 2 weeks or so before you can have a scan to see if there's a hb... ... What do you think?

I phoned the naturopathic centre today. Apparently my test results are back from my full hormone screening and adrenal stress index... It's SO FRUSTRATING knowing that they have the results but I can't find out what they are until my appt... Have altered my appointment from 4th Sept to 26th Aug, but EVEN SO...

Hello to everyone else, sorry for the long post (am a bit bored, can you tell?!?)

Sparkly08 · 15/08/2008 17:57

Hi all,
Have been shopping today whilst DD was at nursery. I spent a fortune in Monsoon on a dress and cardie for DD (for her christening), 2 pairs of trousers and a top (also for DD) and a dress for myself. Am slightly worried that I'm STILL not feeling pregnant. My (.)(.)s are still sore but that's about it.
I also have a small pea size lump under my arm which is very painful - almost feels like a bruise. Will get the GP to check it out at my appointment on Weds.

Fruity How is the sickness now? Did you manage to get a nap this pm?
HTGG Discovery Centre sounds fine. No more cheese cravings from me...Haven't felt like eating cheese for a few days. Any news from you?
Kate You will have a baby!!! You need to adopt this mantra every morning infront of the mirror . Hope being optimistic brings you your BFP very soon. I posted that link for clueblue...thought it was about time we got some freebies from them after all the money we've spent. The tests sounds very clever but agree that they could cause more worry .
Ei I'm so gutted she found you after all that run around. I really hope your appointment brings you some answers. xx
Teehee Great news that all was as it should be at the scan but understandable why you're still feeling anxious...put your feet up on hols and have a great time. There will be so much more to see at your next scan. Have fun!!
Mollie Only 3 more sleeps .....

Hi to everyone else.
