Cals a week and I am stressing about 6 hours........ I know it will do her good, I just miss her and know that MIL will not do things my way and will feed her loads of junk etc.... But for one day I am sure it will be ok!!

I am sure you will cope brilliantly with two children cals, I just hope I am not so obsessive with the second..... I also have been worrying that I may not love the second as much as I love dd. (Bad mummy to even think it)

EmmaBlemma · 26/07/2008 11:41

Thanks for advice everyone, will take a look at ff..

lardybump it is completely normal to feel this way. Infact you will just have even more love to accomodate your new arrival. I know a few mums who thought this and laugh about it now.. Two babies, how lucky xx

lardybump · 26/07/2008 11:43

Thanks Emma that really helped. Lets hope this month is your month to get pg....

SesQal · 26/07/2008 12:10

Hi LB and welcome Emma

I know this may sound silly but ttc dc1 and I sometimes worry about things like how I'll have enough love for DC and dh! Even though I know it's different. I also worry that I may be too selfish for dc. I guess we all have these worries at various stages!

I'm off to the theatre with a friend later to see Hamlet in Stratford. Sounds v cultured but only reason we're going is because it has David Tennant in it and we're both huge Dr Who fans! Should be good time anyway and we're going to get there early enough for pizza first - yum!

Relatives are being abandoned to dh!

I can't tell you how much we all enjoyed Chessington yesterday. There was something for everyone - even little ride for 15month nephew! Zoo and sealife area was good too. Then in the evening me, sil and 16yr old niece went to see Mamma Mia. I haven't laughed so much in ages!

Then after that yesterday and theatre today, tomorrow we're having a BBQ for 15 at ours from 2pm! I'm back at work Monday, relatives go Tues and then have to find house under all the mess before a viewing the estate agent has arranged for Wed!

All feels a bit non stop at the moment!!

lardybump · 26/07/2008 12:55

ah ses dont worry the love your your child over powers everything else. And you lose your selfishness the minute you see them, and from then on you live your life for them and them alone..... (will i do anyway and I used to be very selfish)

SesQal · 26/07/2008 13:10

LB - thanks. That's reassuring. It's what I tell myself but I kind of think no one else can live such a self centered life! On the flip side, as you've suggested we probably all have these thoughts and when I finally have dc1 (I am still determined to get there so I'm not saying if!) all that will fade and like you I will become DC centered!

Sometimes I also think life would be a lot simpler if I just got on with it and didn't think so much!

tinkisagracefulshamu · 26/07/2008 16:41

hi temp definetly sounds promising emma i temped using ff and got pregnant on my first chart. temp would usually drop if af coming. spotting could be implantation.

glaskham · 26/07/2008 18:20

can i ask a question?

I'm on cd12, and have had ewcm today but there was some blood in it, fresh streaks of blood within it. Anyone else had it? Any clue what it could be? I've not been using OPk's every day this cycle so dont know if i've had OV yet or not, but usually it occurs around day 13/14... trying to be as stress-free about it as possible this month.

Dont know if the fact i'm still ill (being violently sick all day today and most of yesterday) will have anything to do with it either??

not staying on long as my migrane is killing me, just wondered if anyone had any clues???

glaskham · 26/07/2008 18:24

also cals- just read this page and i know exactly what you mean about not knowing if you can cope with night feeds with newborn and DC aswell- my DS was only 15.5mths when DD arrived, and DD was very demanding which i wasn't used to as DS was a very independent baby (or as much as they can be).

It was VERY hard to adjust to, but i did it, came out the other side smiling, and wouldn't be wanting to do it again if it was that bad would i??!!

I will add that because DS was a perfect baby i was just expecting DD to be the same, and it hit me hard when she wasn't.... I say- expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised!!!

GYo · 26/07/2008 19:31

could it be implantation glaskham hope you feel better

glaskham · 27/07/2008 09:18

well it was very quiet last night!!

I have woken up feeling fine today, al except a teeny tiny headache over one eye... hopefully a couple of strong headache pills will make it clear off for good!!

Not had any more bleeding since yesterday... so not too worried, thinking it could have been because of how badly ill i was.

I don't know if i have any plans as such for today, i need to clear up and do all the stuff i should have done yesterday and the day before. So will be a few loads of washing, a good clean in the kitchen and washing lots of pots... hovering the whole house and changing the beds, and thats only doing the basics i need to catch up on!!

I'm getting very exited for my holiday, OK, so its only a few days in London with the in-laws but its the first break away from home we'd have had all year really!! and probs the only one we'll get!!

We're saving for a big holiday to disneyland when the kids are a couple of years older (and we've had a 3rd too), want to do it as good as we can possibly afford to, so saving now to make sure we can do everything we want to!!

right off to check my emails and then better get started on my day of cleaning i'll be around later today i may pop on later

glaskham · 27/07/2008 09:19

LB- implantation at cd12??

glaskham · 27/07/2008 09:20

sorry was supposed to say tink- implantation at cd12??

EmmaBlemma · 27/07/2008 09:32

I Love fertility friend!! Thanks cals... So I now have 2 charts, obsessive? Haha... Unfortunately a/f is here so I'm out for a few weeks ...

Thanks for your support girls, will be checking in to see how you are all doing. Lots and lots of luck xxx

heverhoney1 · 27/07/2008 10:21

Sorry to butt in on your convo. I went to docs about mid cycle bleeding a few months ago. After a clear Smear test they said it was a cervical erosion. Nothing to worry about, very common and I have checked on the new and it says it has no effect on fertility.

If you are worried about something though you should speak to your GP Practice nurse if just to put your mind at rest as it willl stop you stressing.

Morning All

Cant believe how quiet the wagon has been this w/e.

How is everyone today?

Cosmogirl · 28/07/2008 08:24

Morning GYo,

How you feeling? Anymore nausea? Had good weekend in Brighton - DH got sea sick during our fishing trip tho! The boat was seriously rocky.

GYo · 28/07/2008 08:29

Hi Cosmo

How was it apart from the sea sickness
Did you eat mackerel? did you tell your sister?

Im well thanks- I think the nausea is creeping up slowly, keep having phases of no appetite and then being starving.

How about you? any symptoms?

Lovely day

glaskham · 28/07/2008 08:35
