Wow that is early. I was pleased with being asleep by 9.15pm! Though could have gone earlier if I had energy to move my butt from the sofa.

The smell thing is really bad today. Does it go away eventually? Does anyone know?

Perfume from the ladies on the train is intoxicating. Worse still some scummy woman who also smelt quite unpleasant(dressed in a suit for the city) was picking breakfast (or worse still last nights dinner!) out of her teeth next to me on the tube. I nearly barrfffed all over her. The second day running I have seen her doing it too. Sorry but that really is scum.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 07/08/2008 09:02

Morning all

Have just read it all through with DS1 going on in my ear about something or other, so have read it all and not taken it in, and just got through a conversation with DS1 with yes and no's in the right places - I hope!

LB, sorry I posted and ran, DH did indeed come in! Glad you're scan isn't so far away, and hoorah for feeling better! I still get waves of nausea, but luckily it isn't an all day thing anymore, just when I smell things that aren't right in my nose.

MAF, I think your DP is very clever, I wish I could get DH to be pregnant this time! Having said that no I don't, it'd turn into even more work for me running around after him!

LBOT, fingers crossed the spotting was implantation, it sounds like it would be the right timing!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 07/08/2008 09:03

OMG- not sure I can take that....

Anyone want to go halves on a box of clothes pegs?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 07/08/2008 09:11

I had the smell thing with all of my pregnancies, all the way through, I was lucky before in that I wasn't feeling sick with it, this time, different story!

If the sickness goes the smell thing on it's own isn't too bad (unless you are going past a field of cows....! )

OP posts:
GYo · 07/08/2008 09:22

LMAO about the field of cows

My big triggers to make me gag are cat food the bin commuters bad breath on the train home and too much perfume, oh and randomly the smell of someone chewing gum (clearly someone with bad breath cant win )

Morning all, sneaky post whilst DS gives me a five minute break!

Re smell, DH used to bring kebabs home when I was pg with DS and I had to sit upstairs whilst he ate it. He was then banned as it got to heaving point!! After that, I carried a tissue soaked in vicks with me and if I had a horrible smell, I'd have a sniff of that - having written that, I didn't consider whether or not vicks is 'approved' for use in pg, but can't see why it wouldn't be.

GYo - perhaps some extra strong mints would help your fellow passengers you

DH is being an arse htis morning. I offered to help in the garden whist DS snoozed, but have been rejected as apparently I'm not good enough . Its MY GARDEN TOO! This always happens when FIL is here, DH turns into a right old grump and it will probably take a while for him to come back to 'normal'.

Oh well, guess it will be worth it in the end .

Best scoot, DS is trashing the lounge!
