Pop- house move sounds great, i moved when i was 30ish weeks pregnant with DD2, was great not being able to lift anything and telling everyone where things go. Frustrarting at the same time as i wanted to do things myself but no one would let me.

So we went to court yesterday for the adoption, it all went smoothly, and from yesterday DH is legally DD1's dad. It was really nice the judge and court official made a real fuss of DD1 and she even got a certificate rolled up with red ribbon. She didn't really understand what was happening as to her DH is her dad and doesn't know any different, but at last its all official and 1 step closer in our move stateside

So i'm off to town today to get the last few bits for our camping trip on sunday and a pressie for a birthday party for DD1 nursery friend tomorrow. Any ideas what to get a 4 year old boy?

I'm not too well- have had an awful headache since yesterday and have just been sick too- DH is working a 12 hour shift today so cant do much about it!! My mum is working and so is my dad. Both sisters are either at college or work too- so i have to cope!!

think as soon as lunch is finished DS will be going to bed for a nap and DD will be going in her buggy for one too!! Then i'll try and sleep too- had a bad night the last 2 in a row which cant help much!!

2BG, what a relief to have it all sorted, one thing off the 'to-do-list' 4 year old boy? Depending on budget at that age DS1 loved plain old felt tips and a colouring book, dot to dot books went down very well, funny story books, lego and things like K'nex were (and are) still loved to bits. And the age old fav play doh (just don't be surprised if the mum looks at you like you've just gifted her son with a 6 pack of stella, everytime the play doh is unwrapped alarm bells go off in mums heads! )

I need to clean the bathroom.... it's too hot I am not moaning about the lovely weather, just having to work in it!

Sorry that you aren't feeling too well Glask, kids and feeling crappy definately do not mix. I suggest a lazy day let the kids watch tv and eat junk won't hurt for 1 day.

We are moving to the US next May. Through most of the visa process now, just delaying the interview until adoption was sorted and a few other things. I can't wait to go
