mmmmmmmm pizza! DH is having a strop now coz I won't let him watch a programme thats just started and goes on till 10 as we're both knackered and need to go to bed early...he's been moaning all bloody day about how tired he is and said that its not the pg making me tired, it was the long weekend , till I pointed out I went to bed about 2 hours before him!

Grrrrrr, didn't know there was going to be a competition - fine, you're more tired than me, does that still mean I don't get any sympathy?

Still need to broach the subject of when he feels we should tell people, he's a bit grumpy right now then and don't want to be greeted with a 'whenever you want', if that's not really what he wants. He's just tired - DS is teething and sleeping horizontally in the bed between us from about 2 each morning, he head butts DH and kicks me - what is it with kids that they can't just sleep vertically in the bed????

I've convinced him to watch a comedy show and its 9 mins in and he's finally managed to crack a smile - the evening may be recovered yet.....

I've got my CBD and have more or less decided to do it in the morning - the only thing that will stop me is if I forget! I actually think DH will be much happier when he sees it too.

Oooops sorry for yet another Cal mega ramble.

GYo · 23/07/2008 21:19

Defo not a competition. - MEN!

talking of exhaustion Im knackered so off upstairs to be horizontal for the next 9hrs or so (bliss bliss bliss)

Dont forget to photograph the CBD tomorrow and post your pics

Hi Rach- welcome back

Good night

GYo · 23/07/2008 21:19

ps definately not rambling either.

kookykid · 23/07/2008 21:23

Hello everyone. Been AWOL with caring for the kittens and giving lots of attention to DD who's a bit miffed at the t.l.c. the kittens need from me. Luckily the littlest kitten, Beryl, is on the mend now and has put on some weight. Had a nasty half an hour tonight when we lost her and I was convinced she'd fallen/jumped from our bedroom window. DH found her eventually snuggled up under our duvet, quite unaware of the stir she'd caused. Am actually relieved I'm not pg as I would've been even more of an emotional wreck! Ridiculous that 2 such tiny creatures can make such an impact!

Hope everyone is well and doing OK. I am feeling less stressed about ttc this cycle and we haven't even started GOFing yet as so knackered! Will have to start soon though!

No-one commented on my shoes - do you all think they're awful!??!

calsworld · 23/07/2008 21:25

Oooh, ummm posting pics is tricky, will see what I can do as only have dodgy web cam for taking pictures with. G'night.

GruffaloSoldier · 23/07/2008 21:32

Hello everyone!

Cosmogirl · 23/07/2008 21:42

Hi Gruffalo,

Sorry to hear you are feeling bit ill, but good news about deadline not being far off . Lucky DH having 6 weeks off - I am very of all these teachers starting their breaks - think I went into the wrong career....

GruffaloSoldier · 23/07/2008 21:43

calsworld · 23/07/2008 21:43

Evening gruffalo, I'm just lurking before bed..what kind of virus?

DH being on hols sounds good to me! At least he can support you whilst you do your final draft . Hooray for chocolates too

GruffaloSoldier · 23/07/2008 21:44

calsworld · 23/07/2008 21:45

Hi Kooky - missed your post, what shoes? What's going on with me tonight?

calsworld · 23/07/2008 21:47

Crikey - those shoes! Wow am very impressed, there's no way I would manage to walk in them, very ! They're quite vampy! (Says frumpy mum!)

GruffaloSoldier · 23/07/2008 21:49

Throat just feels weird, horrible. So congested in my head, it feels so heavy. Nausea and dizzyness this morning, better by afternoon. And EXHAUSTED! Was looking after three kids today and fell asleep sooo many times!oops! Need an early night. I am so bad at going to bed though!

I think i am just run down after my work marathon last week!

Chocs have been confiscated - LOL

Ses15 · 24/07/2008 07:38

Morning!

Gruffalo - sorry your feeling I'll. Hope you're feeling better this morning.

Cal - good luck with CBD this morning

Is anyone good with temping? I started temping for first time this month and was expecting a nice clear rise around CD 15. This is what I've got so far:
CD 9 36.1
CD10 36.47
CD11 36.6
CD12 36.43
CD13 36.34
CD14 36.42
CD15 36.32
CD16 36.53
CD17 36.70
CD18 36.53

I also got +ve OPK on CD 13 and CD14.
Any ideas?!!

Ses15 · 24/07/2008 07:43

Is the rise from CD16 enough and CD11 a blip?

Cosmogirl · 24/07/2008 08:16

Morning Ses,

'fraid I'm clueless about temps, but hopefully one of the other girls will be able to help.

So tired again this morning.....need the weekend to be here now! [yawnnnnn]

GYo · 24/07/2008 08:27

Morning all

Its amazing what 8.5hr sleep can do. Feeling much more awake this morning but starving!

Cals- have you done the CBD?

Ses- dont know anything about temps, I've just gone by EWCM before.

Gruffalo- sorry to here you are poorly. Hopefuly you will be feeling ok in time for the w/e.

KK- your kittens sound gorgeous, so cute to be hiding under the duvet. A few years ago my "kitten" - was 6mths old- used to climb under the bottom of the duvet and appear up at the top and go to sleep with her head on the pillow - so cute.

Morning everyone else

Cosmogirl · 24/07/2008 08:34

Morning GYo,

at you feeling awake....woke up this morning and wanted to go straight back to sleep. Going to attempt starting pregnacare pills today....

Right, better go to work I suppose

Catch you all later.

GYo · 24/07/2008 08:42

Hi Cosmo - lol, awakeness wont last long Im sure. By 9am I will want to sleep at PC :-)

how big and chunky are the pregnacare tabs>? I bought pronatal yesterday and they arent too bad. Really not sure if one is better than the other..

Diege · 24/07/2008 08:53

Hello!! Good to hear everyone's news - that early pregnancy buzz is so exciting .
Well we're off to Whitby on Friday for 2 weeks, so trying to get dd1's birthday presents sorted too as it's when we're there.
Having ups and downs re: miscarriage. Thought I'd made a really good recovery, but then am surprised by what can effect me. Feeling better physically, bleeding virtually gone, and just a very faint line on hpt (the sort we get excited about!!).
Have spoken to Miscarriage Association about when to try again, and they still advise fine after 1 af (or even before). I'll await af then be able to get my name back on the ttc list - hopefully September start for me! .
Probably won''t get a chance to post now before hols, so have a great few weeks everyone and see you when we get back .

GYo · 24/07/2008 08:57

Have a lovely holiday Diege, hope you get a chance to rest and relax.

Enjoy yourself.

Take care.

Kalikaroo · 24/07/2008 08:59

Hope you have a nice relaxing break Diege!

How are you feeling today Gruffalo?

I'm now on CD35 (my average is CD32-34, but it's pretty variable, so I'm trying to not get my knickers in a knot just yet! )

Feeling very slightly crampy, so maybe witch is going to swoop in v. soon

Ho Hum....

Hey Tink Congrats on being 15wks.

Moving seems quite drastic but lots of people do it to get a good school. Would you have to move far?
