Can I add myself at the last second? Due tomorrow and can't decide whether I want it to be positive or not...DS is only 16 weeks old...gulp

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 20:45

Well i have been watching this thread, congats on all the bfp's. My AF was due on 19th did a test but did it in the afternoon and if was BFN. Very strange as it normally comes dead on the 19th. Have felt very tired for last week or so and bloated on and off.

Hants · 20/07/2008 20:45

ohmigod turtle23.....16 wks old!!!! I think I would want BFN if I was you! Good luck either way

turtle23 · 20/07/2008 20:49

Can I just add that this wasn't really in the plan! We were going to wait til October/November, but had a little "accident" and have been feeling queasy/metallic and funny all day.

Hants · 20/07/2008 20:50

welcome pandagirl03, you may have tested too early, most of us BFPs had. Check out this link - good luck

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:00

Hi Hants, well AF was due on the 19th so i thought it would be good to test on the 19th?? I will read link thanks. I dont really 'feel' pregnant tho with my dd i felt it, wierd sort of feeling. But then i guess each one is different.

Hants · 20/07/2008 21:05

Well I did my first test the day before AF (which you would think would work??) then did a week later. Fingers crossed you get the result you want, have you been trying long?

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:10

been trying for 8 months now, took us 10 months to fall with dd. Looks like i will have to wait this out.

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:11

have you any symptoms of pregnancy hants??

Hants · 20/07/2008 21:12

if you go by your previous track record, only a couple of months to go. I know each month is like a lifetime, at least you know you can. Are you both fairly fit and healthy?

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:32

i am a bit over weight, but saying that i was alot heavier when i had dd. Have lost weight since. But dh is fit and healthy.

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:33

well i hope we can, i had a section with dd so i worry about any damage.

Hants · 20/07/2008 21:39

I have heard it can take between 3 - 12 months to conceive. Have you spoken to your doctor? Might be worth it if you don't get any luck in the next couple of months, might give you some advice. I have really sore boobs (huge nips!) and period type cramps (same as my DS 4 yrs ago). I had no PMT at all last week, which is why I had a feeling I was pregnant, as I am usually really tense and snappy when due on.

Gemzooks · 20/07/2008 21:52

It's funny how your mind and body play tricks on you as well: I was absolutely sure AF was coming, in foul mood, felt all shrivelled up and greasy haired, cold sore, usual AF stuff. Then it suddenly melted away on the day it was due..

Only on day 29 (AF always on day 27) and already feeling far too excited, lines get darker every day but going to stop testing for at least a week. once you've m/c it spoils the excitement a bit!

I too can't believe the luckiness of this thread, we should start one in the antenatal section too!

Hants · 20/07/2008 22:00

sounds like a good idea gemzooks, we should keep a thread on how everyone is doing (all to full term I hope)

greenbeanie · 20/07/2008 22:26

Gemzooks: that would be great, perhaps those of us who haven't been so lucky will be able to join you soon.

hi,

I started the new thread under "Ante-Natal Clubs' section. It's called Graduates of Super Lucky Thread.

Hope to welcome greenbeanie and others on to it next month!

daisy5 · 21/07/2008 08:58

It's exciting to have been a part of a super lucky thread.

Belgian Bun - AF visited me on Tuesday and it was all over by Thursday so I am already planning my Brazilian, a spot of jogging and some merry bding. We are moving house this month so may hold off one month before trying again - I am still undecided as at 41 I am hestitant to put it off but the stress of moving is quite something.

When I get lucky I will come and visit you in the Ante Natal section. Good luck with it all gals.
