fresco - I think my DH watches them, well I know he does when he's away (my DB keeps his supply of vids/mags topped up as I won't buy them!) I have no idea what he'll do with them thou when he comes home, I suspect he'll either leave it all where he is for the next man in his room, or give them to one of his friends. He does have 1/2 vids at home, but he doens't watch them when i'm around. (if at all, haven't seent hem in the machine of late) he does have pics on the computer (a lot of them) which I didn't like and immediatly deleted them all, he didn't like it but will get over it. I don't mind when he's away as better that then for him to look/ go off with someone else! but at home, I'm not as keen on it.
Am feeling a bit better now (thou brekkie went thru again, so I think i have a bug!), all I know is with it I could sleep for a week, but alas I can't cos the bloomin car's in form it's MOT tomorrow which means to the garage by 9am so i'm seen first and hopefully won't have to wait too long..... do they do wait whilst you MOT these days?
the garage is about 2 miles from where I live/town and it's all up hill to get there so I don't want to drop it off and go back. .... ooh there is a maccyD's over the road thou! hmmm!
ooh and also last night my hospital/gyno section was on the local news... there is a mega bed shortage as they've closed half of the hosptial down! and suspended one of the gyno's for tellin locals the truth (he was giving out flyers in town showing his dicust, what eva happened to freedom of speach!)
this is an extract of the artical of why the gyno should be reinstated....."The number of gynaecology beds have been halved since 1995, which means many women in Pembrokeshire are left waiting much longer than necessary for their operation." it goes on to say he was just lookin out for his patients... they fail to mention thou if the drs there did more than 2 bloody clinics a month a lot more ppl would be seen..... should I get on and ring them so I can get on the next clinic or should I wait?? If I wait I could be waiting till may if not later even thou i'm ment to be nr the top of the llist... yeah top as in second from the bottom I bet!
Oh great the bloomin ward's been shut - its here... I can't bloody believe it. do u recon I could ring my DR and see if I can be seen by camarthen Dr's as this lot seem pretty crap, even if it is an hours away!
Now 25 junior doctors have signed a letter criticising levels of service in a new all-women ward.
In the letter, the staff claimed there were not enough beds on the ward, even for patients who were miscarrying. The trust is looking into the claims.
Gynaecological patients at the hospital have been treated on an all-women ward since the closure of the gynaecology ward.
Sensitive conditions
In a letter to the trust, the medics said there were so few side rooms that staff were not able to break bad news or discuss sensitive conditions with patients privately.
They also complained that people with cancer-related problems were having their admissions delayed or cancelled.
The doctors want Mr Overton's suspension ended and bed capacity returned "to an adequate number, reversing all the ward closures".
Many of the concerns expressed by staff are issues that won't have come about as a result of the move
Frank O'Sullivan, Pembrokeshire and Derwen NHS Trust
Frank O'Sullivan, chief executive of Pembrokeshire and Derwen NHS Trust, said: "Clearly if the concerns are right, then we need to act very quickly to address them.
"I think the point to remember in all this...is that there has been a one bed reduction in gynaecology.
"Many of the concerns expressed by staff are issues that won't have come about as a result of the move."
Ashley Warlow, chief officer of Pembrokeshire Community Health Council (CHC), said there had been a rise in concerns from the public and that the council was to hold a special meeting.
'Real concerns'
It was last month that gynaecology consultant Chris Overton was suspended after handing out leaflets to shoppers in Haverfordwest outlining his concerns.
Then, earlier this week, 23 fellow consultants criticised bed shortages and his suspension in a letter to the Western Telegraph.
Labour AM for Preseli Pembrokeshire, Tamsin Dunwoody-Kneafsey, said overall services at Withybush were good.
She added: "Everyone's putting across that there's a terrible situation in Withybush, in fact...the provision of gynaecology services is very good.
"(But) we must be concerned if any consultant gets to a point where they feel they have to go public on an issue."
Welsh Conservative health spokesman Jonathan Morgan told BBC Radio Wales that Mr Overton should be reinstated and doctors' concerns should be addressed.
He added: "If you read the letter, it states that they (doctors) believe that a previously good service has been destroyed."
Kirsty Williams, Welsh Liberal Democrat health spokesperson, said: "When staff act in this way, they do so because they have real concerns for their patients."
Plaid Cymru's health spokesman Rhodri Glyn Thomas added: "I think there has to be an investigation into the issues raised by Mr Overton..."
(sorry it's so long but i'm understandably peeved, and what if we do get PG and I have to use this hosp?? I knwo from exp of other women on the estate this hosp is crap - one poor woman had to be cut so they moved her to cardiff - 2hrs away and didn't let her DH in the ambalance, another one went into labour at 20 weeks and they told her if she stayed there the baby would die as they couldn't help so they moved her to cardiff but again her DH wasn't allowed in the van with her so he had to go in their own car).
