Hi Playing-

I remember now, are you Petersfield?

Is that north or south side of Haslemere?

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 16:39

yep. South of Haslemere on the A3. Know exactly where you are, I have lived in Fleet and Sandhurst.

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 16:40

oh and I also did teaching practice in the primary school in Ash.

glaskham · 03/07/2008 16:40

we'll be staying with dh's mum and step-dad which is about a 30min tube trip away from the centre. They are taking the kids out to a zoo place for the day which will be fun for them... i'd rather not stay in the centre overnight, purely because it then means we'll ahve to spend more money on that taking away from our days activity spends...

GruffaloSoldier · 03/07/2008 16:42

Wow that is close GYo!

Fingers crossed we get pg soon and then we can have "mothers meetings" with playing

Sun has come out now- yay!

GYo · 03/07/2008 16:45

OOh Playing, so small. Did you grow up in this area then?

Glask thats great solution to have somewhere to stay. Staying anywhere in london costs a fortune. Sounds like it will be a great day out with DH

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 16:45

Yay, it will be lovely to have Mummy friends as I don't have any friends with children!

GYo · 03/07/2008 16:47

Sounds like a great plan Gruffalo and Playing.

Gruffalo, do you know what hospital it is we'd get?

GruffaloSoldier · 03/07/2008 16:53

GYo - My friend had a baby and I think she got a choice between Gulidford (Royal Surrey) and Frimley! You might be more towards the Guidford one, my friend was in Aldershot and chose Frimley, but not sure why.Im seeing her this weekend so might quiz her about it.

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 16:53

I grew up in Petersfield.

Went to Uni in Reading. Second year Uni decided to move in with DH, he then worked in Bracknell so we moved to Sandhurst as a compromise. Then he changed jobs so we moved to Fleet. Job relocated to just outside Petersfield so we decided to move back to my home town. Absolutely love in here so have stayed.

Cosmogirl · 03/07/2008 16:55

Hi girls!! Back from Spain - haven't had time to catch up, but, Playing are you up the duff?? Huggggee congrats!!! That is awesome news! Cycle one as well - impressive.

I am CD 10 today. Have been Gofing lots on hols. Need advice! Do I just keep gofing lots - is that the trick? Off to catch up

GYo · 03/07/2008 16:57

OK, Im close as close to A31 so getting to Royal surrey is easy for me.

Let me know what your friend says

Playing - I've not been south of haslemere for ages. We love Haslemere and plan to move out there when we can afford to. Its where we got married

And Playing, all this chat of weather, snakes, feathers and places to live. How are you feeling about your BFP now?

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:05

Yes Cosmo, I got a BFP this morning.

GYo, i don't really know. I mean I did 2 different brand tests and they were both clear BFPs but I am still finding it hard to believe. I think hanging round on here makes you realise how common mc are and I am so aware that this might not stick so don't want to get over excited. Yet, why shouldn't I get excited, if I'm going to mc there's nothing I can do about it. Maybe it won't feel real till I start telling people or see the bean on a scan.

2beautifulgirls · 03/07/2008 17:05

Hello everyone.

Congratulations Playing on your BFP

Well i've been very busy this week with various school things and party planning.

Wanted to ask advice, i am CD 15 today. I usually get EWCM from about CD10, haven't spotted any as yet! Had a smear yesterday and have been GOF everyday from about CD11.
Then about half hour ago i went to the toilet and when i wiped it was pink, just a little and only first wipe (sorry TMI) Do you think this is from Smear yesterday?

GruffaloSoldier · 03/07/2008 17:07

GYo, I will def let you know!

I love Haslemere too. Used to live in Witley, not too far from there. I love Godalming too, my DH works there.

Yes playing, how are you now, has it sunk in yet??

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:08

Gruffalo - I have friends who live in Witley, they used to live in Godalming, so I know both well!

GruffaloSoldier · 03/07/2008 17:08

Doh! sorry I'm a bit slow keeping up! Trying to analyse questionnaire data and be on mn at same time

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:09

Sorry, hi 2beautiful - Think its probably from the smear although I think sometimes people can get spotting at ov. Just keep on having lots of sex!

glaskham · 03/07/2008 17:11

2bg, i'm not certain on that, but thats the only explanation i can think of.... its too early for AF and too early for implantation bleed...

GruffaloSoldier · 03/07/2008 17:12

Oh it is a small world isn't it?! Witley is not that big either!Would love to live in Witley again but it is too expensive to buy there.

2bg- sounds like it could be from your smear.

GYo · 03/07/2008 17:13

Hi 2BG.
I've had slight bleed post smears before. Not sure if was rough handling of speculum (TMI) or the actual smear. was literally bit of pink.

Good luck with the GOF'ing

GYo · 03/07/2008 17:16

Not been to Witley, will have to investigate :-) All that area is lovely part of the world. Sometimes I cant believe the views I get just a few mins from home

cat still absent

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:17

It is, if you like Haslemere and Godalming you will like Petersfield. Pretty little market town.

GYo · 03/07/2008 17:18

ooh might do a day out tour of the places we havent been.

Do you get a farmers market?
