Yep. First Sunday of every month and I know a good place to have a cooked breakfast to combine with a farmers market trip.

lardybump · 03/07/2008 17:19

I have got to go back and catch up but just wanted to say (before you went home) Congratualtions playing..... well done I am so pleased for you.

As for booking in, I would phone the gp asap. I did and had to wait 4 weeks for a book in appointment, so if you leave it to long it will be quite late before you book in and are allocated a midwife etc....

Right I am going back now to read todays posts......

Might have to plan a trip for start of August.

We are stripping wallpaper this weekend, so no chance of escape for a leisurely sunday.

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:21

Thanks for the advice LB. Think I'll leave it this weekend and do a couple more tests and if still BFP on Monday will ring.

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:22

Well I hear a rumour it was going to rain this weekend so maybe August is better anyhow!

Ses15 · 03/07/2008 17:34

GYO, Gruffalo and GYo - I lived in Godalming for about a year just after I qualified and worked as a relief pharmacist in Haslemere, Godalming, Petersfield, Alton and Leatherhead so I know your part of Surrey/Hampshire a little. It is v nice!

Other than that and my time at uni in Portsmouth, I've lived in Redhill since I was 2!!

Anyway, I'm off now. DH is away tonight and I'm off to the cinema to see Hancock with a friend. I'll catch up later.

Playing - I'm still smiling with you

glaskham · 03/07/2008 17:35

right i'm off to finish the kids tea.... i'm being a bad mother and have just chucked fish fingers and chips in the oven!! think DH wants a hot curry later!!

be around tomorrow!! tata!! xxx

Ses15 · 03/07/2008 17:37

BTW, Cosmo - welcome back! Hope you had a great time. I'd say just keep GOFing!!!

Cosmogirl · 03/07/2008 17:39

Me too. Am so happy for you Playing.

And well done Pop on two babies! This thread sure is fast moving. I am gone ten days and all this exciting news!

Almost didn't find the thread when I logged on earlier.

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:40

Right I am off now too. I have decide to go to the pub and celebrate! Ok, so it will be with a tonic water with a slice of lime but I can pretend its a G&T! I am also going to tell my sister I think. I think I will explode if I don't tell someone. So I'll see her tonight and tell her to not tell anyone as I'm not going to tell Mum for at least a week, so I don't want her finding out second hand. Small towns and all that!

Cosmogirl · 03/07/2008 17:41

Thanks Ses. Had a lovely time - beautiful weather, food, company etc... Yep think we'll just keep Gofing - did lots on holiday to practise. Not worrying about unwanted preg/condoms has really made sex so much more enjoyable.

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:41

Thanks Cosmo - before I leave, how was your holiday?

GYo · 03/07/2008 17:43

Enjoy the film Ses

kookykid · 03/07/2008 17:43

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Playing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just popped on really briefly and will catch up properly later, but saw your BFP and had to do a quick post. YAY!! Wasn't that pretty quick??

Yeah, who would have thought. So ok I have spent 6 months charting my cycle so I knwo how my cycles work now but even so, can't believe it happened first time!

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 17:47

Actually tbh I shouldn't be surprised. I envoked sods law. Getting pg straight away wasn't ideal we were hoping it would take a few months!

Oh and we now have a massive thunder storm here!

lardybump · 03/07/2008 17:50

Night playing I know you will have a good one

I have been so sick all day today. Cancelled all my plans and laid on sofa most of the day..... Nearly passed out a couple of times. Poor dd hasn't been out at all today...

I would love a coffee but even the smell would make me sick at the moment. All I am drinking is water...

Bleugh

Hi LB
sorry to hear you are feeling poorly

Will fax you across some ginger nuts.

Not sure if it will help but ginger is supposed to do something.

lardybump · 03/07/2008 18:10

OP posts:
glaskham · 03/07/2008 18:11
