evening all... nice to have you back NJ!!

DH and I went to see wanted at the pics today, and going to watch Hancock on weds too... then i cooked a massive roast to feed 9 at my mums afterwards... dont know why i voulenteered really!! but i enjoyed the food.

still unsure if i OV'd on day 10 or not.... been GOFing everyday still anyway, sometimes twice for fun still... OPK's haven't picked up a positive since.... so thinking i could now be in my 2ww, which means i'll be due to test around the 10th july, but will leave testing till the 11th as its 6years to the day since we got together then, so may be nice to have a date to remember it with!!

we went to bournemouth had a look in ocenarium and had lunch @ a harry ramsdens restaurant yummy. my hubby and dd1 went on a carousel and she paddled in the sea had a great time. weather was sunny but very windy by the sea

Sorry for your loss 2bg.

It was my birthday last wednesday and I have been trying to drag out the celebrations for as long as possible! Friday went out for a meal with friends and today DH did a roast (I helped) for us two and 4 of my closest friends (two couples). It was great!

Had a really busy week but have managed to GOF at least every other night! I think I ovulated around Thursday so will be testing in about two weeks! I'm having trouble thinking about anything other than babies! Which is a problem as I have three weeks to complete first draft of dissertation

I have spend almost all weekend in bed. Still getting awful headaches and I'm not sleeping. Drinking enough water to mean I should be classed as a fish!! NHS direct and the doctors just say "drink more water and get some rest" Yeah because DS knows what letting Mummy have some sleep means

Hope everyone is ok. I'm going on holiday soon and I can't bloody wait!! Then a few days after we get home its my 20 week scan. I have decided if they can't tell me the sex I am going to have a private scan to find out.

i am so moody @ the moment and getting headaches too!!.
have more energy and managing to eat more as nauseous wearing off
have midwife wed and scan a wk today.
when we had 20 wk scan with dd1 she was being really awkward. had legs and arms crossed and wasnt moving as sleeping. they couldnt really tell gender just said if i was to guess i would say a girl.
going to try and ask about gender @ 12wk one as they r doing nuchal 2 so may get a better look. know they may not beable to c much.

I am trying my hardest not to symptom spot at the moment but it is so difficult not to let myself get carried away!

Sorry to hear about your headaches - how far gone are you now - I started to use lavender oil with DD and it completely cleared up the headaches. I got the holistic stuff from boots, comes in a gel form so you don't need carrier oil.

I'm seeing doc on Friday and want to ask about being referred for a nuchal fold scan - I should ask as early as poss yes? Also going to push for an early scan as I had a mc a couple of years ago.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling great, Kay and Tink. Hope you feel better soon and your DCs are nice to you! Can imagine 2nd pregnancy must be so different from the first having a lo to look after.
I was so tempted to find out the sex when pg with DD but DH persuaded me not too. Glad in the end as it gave me something to focus on when in labour! Not sure I'd be able to hold out a second time though!

Gruffalo sounds like your bday celebrations were fun... know what you mean about thinking about babies all the time - it's hard to switch off when ttc. Think loads of us will be testing at around the same time. It's been a bit quiet on the BFP front recently!

Well, I finally got a strong positive with my cheapy OPK and a smiley face with Clearblue. Think CD21 is quite late to OV in a 30-31 day cycle, but feeling a little more hopeful than a couple of days ago. DH and I GOFing rather feebly as both feel rubbish with this cold. We feel like the least romantic couple in the world as GOF and then sleep in seperate rooms!

Sorry about the headaches too Kayz and Tink, its awful when you just cant do anythign about it isn't it!!

I'm worried about taking meds atm as i honestly think i'm in my 2ww at the moment, and got awful tonsilitis and banging migrane together!! So been coping on 2 ibuprofens a day my thinking being if i get a +hpt in a couple of weeks i'll feel better that i barely took anything, and if i get a -hpt then i know i took them 2 a day to relieve a bit of my pain!!

Hey all, been manically busy - currently on CD20 and not managed to GOF for a few days as both DH and I have had tummy upsets. We're not that determined!

Glaskham, you should take paracetamol not ibuprofen - not sure why though gentler on tummy...

KK seems like quite late in cycle but am thinking I might be same as you and if that is the case, may well have missed the boat this month due to illnesses.

Its been so long now that I don't feel excited or disappointed by TTC and not being on here so much has really helped calm things down a bit, definitely less obsessed . I saw a pregnant lady whilst I was out in germany last week and remembered that we're trying!!

I'd best scoot as i'm supposed to be in a meeting,

wow tink, bump is big for 11wks!! but nice and tidy!!

I tried paracetamol the first day but didn't feel any relief, and ibuprofen seem to ease it a bit!!

GYo- well i'm a little confused right now as to wether my 2ww is up on the 10th or the 14th!

Here you go girls decifer (sp?) this one for me, tested on day 10 and got +opk, got a faint pos on day 11 too, then day 12 was nothing, kept testing as i have never OV'd as early as day 11 before.... got another positive opk today, day 14.... will that mean i have OV'd twice or just have extremely cheap opk's?

oh and tink- i can beat that tummy without being pregnant!! i can still look very pregnant if i breath right out!!!......

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well.. I feel so sick. Still have not been sick but feel sick all day long..... So wish I had not moaned about it now.... errrrrrrrrrr. Just wish I could be sick maybe I would feel better?? Tink nice belly bet mine will beat it at that stage it is well on its way now.... I am 6 weeks today....

Oh no it is worth it but just wish I would be sick instead of just feeling sick iykwim.

I think that you may have had a false reading one of the times on the opk but keep doinking just incase...

thats kinda my plan LB, GOFed ever day since day 8 of cycle... DH isn't complaining and luckily i'm still up for it even if i am ill!!

DH kinda protested GOFing with an ill wife last night but i told him to just shut up and get on with it!! haha!! haven't kissed him properly in nearly 6 days now because of my tonsilitis though!!

oh and i'm kinda worried i did OV twice and if both eggs get fertilised and stick then it'll be twins- no way i can have 4 kids but dont wanna risk not getting pg if the first + was a false!! though i'd rather be pg with twins than never have another!!

Oh you could be our second set of twins on the thread. I would say one of them was a false + though as there is a big gap between them....

yeah well thats my thinking... and hoping... so i think i'm now due to test on the 14th, but hoping an early test on the 11th will give me a correct result if pg. wont test before the 11th as i want a special date to remember it by if pos!!

LB - I remember with DS I was nauseous for ages and being convinced that I'd feel better if I would just be sick. And I did, the first time.....

Then I carried on being sick for nine months! and only gained in weight what he was. I then breastfed and lost loads more but developed a particularly insatiable appetite for cadbury's dairy milk bars. The big ones .

So, am on CD20 - don't know if my cycle will be 28 days or 31 as body seems to be a bit confused and have no idea when I ov....Am convinced I'm not going to get pregnant and we're just doinking for the hell of it. When AF arrives will go to see doc to see if endo could be causing a problem, though am fully expecting to be told to go and carry on trying for another six months. At least I won't get to 12 months though and be told, "you should have come to see us months ago"!

Although i'm determined to wait until I've good reason to think I'm up the spout before testing- clearly naieve- you can tell i've not done this before!
