Currently ttc#5. First cycle off the pill. Got four girls already _ Due to ovulate in two days. Already dtd twice out of sheer impatience 😂

Can I join in? Ttc our second. Im about 10 days dpo. Couldnt help but test this evening. I know. I am crazy. What do we think? Is there a faint pink line? Is it an evap? It came up within 2 to 3 mins. If you cant see anything please say... af due on tuesday.

I think, for me, ovulation seems to get even more delayed with stress? At least that was the pattern pre babies. Not so sure now, my hormones have definitely changed.

That definitely sounds like you should set up a pharmacy 😂 but all good supplements! Fingers crossed this is a longer cycle for you.

Can you tell approximately when you are ovulating due to EWCM? I tried without the Lh tests but found I was getting EWCM for so long and then getting confused about it so resorted to the tests!

Any luck with getting a static circle yet? I missed my peak on the cheapies this month I think (or just didnt ovulate) so get your frustration! Would be interested to know if the CB ones are better!

@hollyhocks2 @MumOf3amazingkids thank you both! Tested again this morning and line was no darker. Saved FMU and went to corner shop as soon as it opened for a digital. Unfortunately a negative.

I'm still convinced I see something so going to keep using dip tests for the next couple of days and second digital on Monday 🤞🤞🤞

I do think stress has caused my irregular periods as we’ve had a lot going on with house moves health scares etc etc so I do think it’s part of it! Probably wasn’t the best time to start trying lol! I do wonder if I have excess estrogen too some cycles like the last one which resulted in the shorter LP and I’m quite heavy etc

Yes I usually get EWCM for 4/5 days and then I get reaaallly strong ovulation pain on the day before or day of! And I have an oura ring which tracks my BBT automatically for me which has been game changer!! They’re expensive but would recommend

I'm only actually 9dpo but I feel sure AF is coming as I get this burning tailbone pain and pressure in my pelvis. Starting to think something is wrong, maybe I shouldn't be able to tell this far ahead that AF is coming and this was cycle 8 for us ☹️

Has anyone had a hen do they’ve gone on whilst ttc? I don’t drink much anyway but I’ll probably be in the middle of TWW and I don’t want to ruin anything as I’ll likely be around 9dpo but not sure how to go about it as I don’t want any of my friends to think I am pregnant as that’s what they will think if I don’t drink!

Thanks for the reply! I tested this morning and it was a very clear white! With only one line. I dont have any more tests so will wait patiently for AF now.

I read that alcohol doesnt cross over to baby until the placenta is established. I know someone who drank 2 bottles of wine and then found out she was unexpectedly pregnant a couple of days later. I didnt drink whilst ttc my first but I would probably have a glass of wine now without worrying.

Ah no, @Sunglade that sounds really tough. 8 cycles is a long time to be trying for, even if it is still considered a “normal” amount of time. And the burning pain doesn’t sound nice at all. Have you been to see the GP yet?

@Glittertint, I was at a hen party and pregnant but without realising (periods were a bit all over, had given up tracking ovulation post a mmc) I got home Sunday and felt off on the Monday (thinking it was post hen party catching up) and had the two lines. Felt so bad as id drank quite a bit but she's now two and is absolutely fine! Probably not sage advice but have a few if you fancy it and try not to stress. I told my midwife at my booking appt (id seen her pre the mmc) and she reassured me it's v common and not to worry. Equally if you don't fancy it that's fine too but I know it's hard if people think you're pregnant and you want it so much. Hope that helps a little bit x

@LizzyRL @Dbd310 thanks both! I know it’s not harmful for the baby, and it made me remember that I was on a hen do the weekend before i found out I was pregnant with my DD. I think I just worry the stress it puts on your body!

Yeah, I know a lot of people do try for this long and longer but often they don't have weird and extra painful symptoms alongside it. I feel like for years I convinced myself it was normal because I was never taken seriously, but now with tracking and waiting I'm starting to realise that actually no it's not normal at all. I have been to the GP who has referred me to a gynae to look into the pain symptoms but I'm not sure how long it might take, I know it can often be ages.

If you don't mind lying- dental infection. Just finishing a course of Metronizadole, can't drink for 48 hours after taking the last dose.

Not sure but getting a bit anxious! Hopefully will have a conclusive answer in the next few days.

My app thinks I’m around 7dpo today. I am getting more hopeful that I did ovulate last week. My Lh tests have stayed low, no EWCM and I’m craving sugar! (a classic luteal phase symptom for me.) But maybe just deluding myself and I’ll get another Lh rise next week! Think I’ll try to hold out HCG testing until 12 dpo and not waste too many tests 🤞
