Bfn this morning. Trying not to feel too disheartened as it's possible I'm still too early to test (approx 9dpo?) but thinking I'm probably out this month. Will wait and test again on Saturday if AF doesn't show.

@Sa11yCinnamon if AF does show, it'll be just as we go on holiday! Such rubbish timing for us both - hopefully a good chance to relax though

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 11/02/2026 08:09

@Flataf To be honest, I can’t see anything on those tests. But you are still soooooo early!! The earliest I’ve ever seen a squinter is day 8 post ovulation, and it only became a definite line which could be seen without squinting at day 10 post ovulation. If you are only day 6/7 post ovulation you could easily be pregnant but the test not able to pick it up yet.

Anya23 · 11/02/2026 08:11

@FlatafI don't see anything on the tests, but fingers crossed the dip is because of implantation!
@hopeful4usSorry about the BFN, but as you said you're probably still early! I've never tested positive so early

@hopeful4us Sorry about the BFN ☹️ waiting until Saturday sounds a good plan. Hope you enjoy the holiday! Are you off somewhere sunny? Feels like endless rain here at the moment!

Athens on Monday! Sounds silly but I was romanticising this cycle as it would mirror us finding out I was pregnant with DD - neither DH or I can really remember the holiday we had in Cornwall as we were too excited/surprised!

Howeverfar · 11/02/2026 08:44

I think my LH may have been really high yesterday but I was drinking so much water it barely showed (strong, but not darker than the test line). I need to keep hydrated during fertile window because otherwise I will get a uti from the sex. Tested first thing this morning and it was a positive test, a lot darker than the test line, so we dtd once more. I know it peaks later in the day but I will be too hydrated to catch it like yesterday. I lost my thermomater so I have not had bbt in a few days so won't know 100% when I ovulate. It is 12-48hrs from surge right? I hope this morning covers us because we won't get another chance. We were dtd every two days until now.

hopeful4us · 11/02/2026 10:50

Trying to add an image but really struggling - anyone know why it won't upload on my phone/got tips?

Went back to my test (obviously should have put it straight in the bin so I couldn't!) and there's a clear line. It's very thin but definitely bright blue. Think I already know the answer but can someone confirm this is an indent/evap?

Anya23 · 11/02/2026 10:59

@HoweverfarI think that should cover it! I sometimes get my peak in the morning, you never know.
@hopeful4usAre you using the app or are you in a browser? It always works for me in the app

@Anya23thanks for the tip, I've downloaded the app. Thoughts? I've never tested early before but assuming this is an indent/evap from pp.

I'm afraid it might be, although I've never used CB before, just seen them around here. I think the line is too thin, but I'll wait for someone else to chip in!

No I see colour evaps or indents are usually light grey or white with greyish lines at sides 🥰. I think it’s a bfp gratz

Taysonic · 11/02/2026 13:55

Hi all - hope you don't mind me joining. I've been reading for the last few pages but haven't said anything myself.

I recognise some of your usernames - I've been, sadly, hanging around this forum for a while now!

Started TTC this time last year. Over the year, I've sadly had three early pregnancy losses. The first two involved quite a lot of back and forth to EPAU, repeat scans and repeat blood tests with one being treated as PUL and resulting in methotrexate treatment. Had to hold off TTC for three months after that, but quickly fell pregnant again in December, only to have another MC over Christmas.

Had my first AF after the MC in January, so DP and I are eager to try again, and have been offered progesterone at the first positive pregnancy test. Willing to give this a go and hope for a miracle... but if this still doesn't work for us, I'm not sure how much more I can put myself through.

I already have a DS with my exH, he's 9. This would be my partner's first, and our first together.

Currently on CD13 but I tend to ovulate a little later. Expected LH peak in the next couple of days. Wish me luck....!

Jhm88 · 11/02/2026 15:34

@hopeful4us I've had an evap on the same test that looked exactly like that. It was when I went back to the test too. The true bfps on those tests are thicker and within the time window sorry x

hopeful4us · 11/02/2026 15:39

@Jhm88that's the response I expected, I remember my BFP last time around was much thicker.

@Flatafthis is what confused me - it's definitely blue and everything online says grey/shadowy etc. Think it's too thin for a bfp though...

I've bought some boots early detection (no FRER in the shops here and we're off to the in laws tomorrow). Think I'll try one and see but still expecting AF this weekend

Anya23 · 11/02/2026 15:43

@TaysonicGood luck! Are they going to do any tests to see what could have caused the MCs?
@hopeful4usLet us know! I'm also expecting AF for the weekend, although I did have some mild cramping today, so I really hope it won't arrive earlier in the middle of our trip.. Unfortunately we're going to a funeral so it's going to suck either way!

So after having possible implant bleeding ( I’m 10/11 away from af) so I thought try with fresh am pee 🤞

@hopeful4us I’ve seen ClearBlue evaps looks like that, sorry. It’s really bad that they have colour I think!! Could definitely be wrong though, your line is very blue!
Hope the early detection tests tomorrow are clearer.

I know what you means about romanticising a date/ month/ holiday. I definitely did that last cycle when I was hoping for a September baby. It would have had a due date around my husbands birthday, and I was thinking this would be so sweet.

Athens sounds lovely! A bit of sun and time to relax ☺️ Hope you have a lovely holiday

Got a friend to clean up a pic I took without case but at this point with all symptoms I’m sat thinking my body is just being outright akward 🤣🤣

I can see what you mean, I can kind of see something, but I'm not convinced it's a proper line. As difficult as it is, I think you may need to wait a couple of days to see something more definitive. It just looks quite thin compared to the control line, and ideally they should be the same thickness I think. Needs a bit more time I think... sorry to say! I know every hour probably feels like a decade!

I was lucky as they do blood test investigations after 2 losses in my area. So we had a set of bloods done back in September. They largely came back fine, except for testing positive for thyroid anti-bodies. I chose not to go to EPAU for the third loss (I was fairly happy everything was 'normal' and I wasn't concerned about anything and felt at the time that repeat trips to EPAU would be more difficult to emotionally deal with - chose to self-medicate by doing a BIG comfort shop in B&M and then snuggling at home with paracetamol, a hot water bottle and all the chocolate and candles). So they haven't yet done a referral to the recurrent loss clinic. The fertility team have agreed the progesterone so I'll give that a go if we manage to catch again (thankfully, our success rate at getting initially pregnant has been really good!).

Ooh I see! I hope that's something progesterone can help with!

I think I may be out for this month. Cos getting period type pains now. Having such an irregular cycle is really throwing me off. I’ve never had pms symptoms like I’ve had this week apart from the cramps which started today either 🙈 I was so hopeful but I guess I’ll find out soon what is what

Ladies, is it normal to start cramping four days before AF is due? I also got a spot on my face and feel hot this morning so I'm pretty sure AF is coming on the weekend, but never had cramping this early before, although it is quite mild luckily
