Hi guys! Moving the January thread here!

Me back again :) does anyone see a faint line on this test? It's not taken first thing in the morning, I took it this afternoon as I was feeling a little yukky and was curious. I don't think it's anything as I'm 11DPO so any line should be much clearer, but wondering what others think!

@tiutinkerbell I think I can see something there. I was completely negative at 10DPO, with FMU so I don't necessarily think that's too faint...

@Sa11yCinnamon - thank you! It's odd isn't it, I kinda feel like I can mayybeee see something but then I'm like, it's literally negative you fool haha! Can't make up my mind on what I think!

Oh we can drive ourselves mad! I'd try to wait two or three days then test again, fingers crossed x

Did another test this AM, but still not fully convinced. Looking like it could be an indent/chemical. Will wait for another few days and try a ditigal maybe.

I’m 5dpo and could help but stupidly take a test😂 idk why I do this to myself. I know it’s way too early, but I’ve felt nauseous all day and it’s really bugging me. The thought of food is making me want to throw up but I’m also hungry?

Any OPK experts willing to give their opinion on something please??

I peed on the stick and potentially went over the max line (I know you are meant to dip these but I didn’t have a cup at the time) it came up with a high reading (pre mom has registered this as a peak)

I was surprised as I’m 3 days away from predicted ovulation so I drank a load of water and tested again (dipped properly) half an hour later which was very negative but I realise it was probably diluted.

just tried again hours later - negative again! As in second line is barely there.

What do you think? Did I peak? Or was this a false positive and im still yet to ovulate? Chat GPT thinks it was a true positive and not a false.

8dpo and bfn this morning on an easy@home. I know it’s super early but it’s just put me on a downer. I don’t have any symptoms at all apart from nausea 5dpo. Already feel like it’s just going to be a repeat of last month, sadness and disappointment :( sorry everyone, just feeling really negative today

Sorry to hear this @Faraway11 . I had a BFN yesterday at 12 dpo so know how you are feeling! Didnt test today as knew it would be negative, just waiting for my period to start! How long have you been trying now?

Aww sorry for you too :( this is only our second cycle trying for our first, so I feel kind of silly and tone deaf for being frustrated when I know so many people try for years and struggle with infertility. I think I’m just being pessimistic because I’ve had previous surgery for pelvic adhesions so I don’t really know what kind of environment I’ve got going off in there lol x

Don’t worry, im only on my 3rd cycle (next cycle, which im assuming will start tomorrow will be number 4). My first DC was convinced on my 3 cycle and my 2nd DC on the first cycle so this is the longest I’ve had to wait! Getting so impatient!

I was very sad when it didn’t work last cycle, as I had a good peak on Lh tests and lots of dtd at the right time! This cycle i dtd lots but never found my peak so think I mentally discarded this cycle 2 weeks ago 😂

Oh, the pelvic adhesions dont sound good! What caused them? Im a bit worried that my EMCSs have caused some damage as I’m getting very bad ovulation pain which I never did before!

I caught my peak this cycle and we dtd at really good times so I’m hoping I’ve just tested too early. It was a frer and negative but maybe just haven’t implanted yet. The adhesions were caused by an infection I had years ago. I had pelvic inflammatory disease it was awful. Kept going to the drs as was in severe pain and bleeding, the GP (woman mind you) said ‘hm there is pelvic inflammatory disease but you’re too young for that’ … ended up in hospital a few days later with pelvic inflammatory disease 🙄 I was 17 at the time xx

edit: I never used to get ovulation pain but do sometimes now, hopefully everything is okay for you xxx

8 dpo is super early. I’ve never tested positive then, only from 10 dpo so you are still in with a very good chance i think! Fingers crossed for you!

Ah, that sounds miserable! GPs can really miss the obvious sometimes! Really hope it’s not had any long term impact 🤞

Feeling exactly the same today. Done an early test and it’s very negative. We’re also trying for our first. It sucks doesn’t it?

Is it likely I did ovulate where it says ‘peak’? I feel I peed over the line a little. Last month I ovulated late on CD28 at a peak of 1.01. I think the sudden drop to ‘0’ has thrown me right off? Flo predicts tomorrow for ovulation, Please let me know your thoughts. X

@MyPeppyLimeBear Oooh, tricky! I would probably go with you haven't yet ovulated? The 0s do seem odd.
Also, for these strip tests, definitely easier to pee in a pit and dip the test! Really helps to avoid flooding.

Very strange one isn’t it. Thank you very much for your insight. Yep I usually dip them but I was in work that time (the peak) so worked with what I had unfortunately ha ha. Maybe I did flood it?? I’ll continue to test thank you

My period is taunting me 😢 it’s 2 days late but I do have the occasional 30/31 day cycle. I’m getting bad period pains and I just want it to start now cos it’s getting me down. Why’s it got to drag sometimes!? I’m ready to get onto the next cycle
