@Sa11yCinnamonSounds promising! Do you have any symptoms or pms?
My period is due Saturday / Sunday, I'm about 9 dpo today. Tested yesterday (afternoon 🙄) just because, but of course it was negative.. We have an unexpected trip on Thursday til Saturday and now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't even test and just wait.. It'll be easier not to think about it during our trip

@Anya23 no symptoms of either pregnancy or PMS, though IIRC my only symptom at this stage last time was exhaustion and I have a toddler so... 😂

I'd try and wait if I were you but I'm about to pass a chemist on way home from work so let's see if I follow my own advice!

Yeah holding off testing. But I’ve had none of my usual coming on my period symptoms, these feel very different. I don’t remember much from my DS apart from the overwhelming feeling to take a test the day I was late. Then the boob aches etc began.

Ladies I need help :(
I had my fertility bloods the last 2 weeks.. my 7 DPO progesterone came back as 23nmol. The doctor says this doesn’t prove ovulation… but everything online says above 16nmol proves ovulation, and that progesterone is pulsatile so changes throughout the day. I have completely regular 28 day cycles and track my ovulation using LH strips, digital LH tests and BBT and have clearly ovulated using these for the last 6 months, including the month I had the bloods. Could the doctor be wrong? I wish I’d seen a fertility specialist and not just my GP now! I’ve been holding onto the fact that regular cycles mean I must ovulate but now I’m freaking out?!

Hmmm so I've just had brownish pink spotting all day, period not due for 4ish more days... Im 10 or 11 dpo. Never had a shorter luteal phase than 14 solid days, but seems too late for implantation bleeding? Not sure what to think. Tested negative yesterday, haven't bothered today as I assumed i'm out. What would you think?

@Sa11yCinnamonAh I think you'd be right to test today! Ill try and hold out too, although I need to know, as if I'm not pregnant I'll need to bring tampons lol!
@JemRoseImplantation can happen until 12dpo! The most common I think is 8-10 dpo, so you're still not out

@Anya23i was just in time for a train so no test bought! Will see if AF comes tomorrow.

Has anyone else ever had bright blue veins appear across their entire body during their cycle? I have never noticed it before but since Friday I have had this across my boobs, arms, legs and tummy

@BellaStar2020Never had it before, only when I was pregnant, but that also appeared later in the pregnancy

It’s strange. I only remember it from when I was pregnant with my first. I started bleeding today though so it’s not that for me this time

Hello, I was trying for baby No.1 in 2024. After 1 early miscarriage (march 24) and 1 chemical pregnancy (april 24), I joined mumsnet and found courage again to continue the journey. Now I am back and now trying for baby No. 2. I'd like to say good luck to the ones who are still waiting in 2WW and who are trying to conceive. I also want to say congratulations to the ones who found out that they were pregnant. Today is CD 19 for me and I am happy to be back. : )

@LucyCL I remember you from previous threads! Welcome back 😊 I'm also TTC#2. Is this your first cycle second time around?

Well my hope was crushed when my period decided to arrive on 8DPO anyways in full force, while on a plane! Sigh! Hope everyone has better luck than me this week.

Sorry to hear about more BFN’s. I’ve just about got over my period and going to move on to the next cycle! My cycle was so short last month, I ovulated at CD16 but AF showed CD24… but I have had quite a lot of emotional stress / grief last month so when I’ve looked online it says that cortisol reduced progesterone which likely made me bleed sooner.
I wanted to ask… What’s everyone’s favourite ovulation tests? I’ve been using Clear Blue Advanced but they’re really expensive and I feel like this is going to go on for a while so can’t afford to keep buying them every cycle. I did do bbt for a while but it stopped me sleeping because I was stressing about waking up and temping so I can’t do that!

@ClaireF992 I’ve just ordered the easy at home ones from Amazon. Have seen them recommended on here a lot so fingers crossed they are good!

Sorry about the bfns! I decided to just wait it out this cycle. If I'm not pregnant I'll get my period on Saturday or Sunday, but for now I really have no symptoms of anything.. Boobs are a bit heavy but that's never been a pregnancy symptom for me, nor pms, so we'll see. Feeling a bit negative tbh. I'll go to the procedure at the end of the month, and I think I'll be more relieved after that, to know at least if there is anything going on

I swear our bodies love to mess with us. 🤦🏻‍♀️I thought I had the timing well last cycle, eventhough I was confused about wtf my BBT was doing I had some hope. Well, my average cycle length of 32/33 decided to be 28 days instead! So if I am ovulating, it was probably earlier than I thought and missed the best chances. I'm just hoping that means my BBT wasn't showing ovulation for that reason as I didn't start temping until CD10?? If not, I fear I just didn't ovulate. I have PCOS. Onto 7th cycle now and just stopped bleeding a couple of days ago. I'm over 35, so gotta start thinking about visiting the doctor for help. I'm significantly overweight, so I know they're going to tell me to lose weight and unsure if they'll even help me in the meantime. So I'm deciding between keep trying naturally for a while, while I try to lose weight or make a doctor's appointment sooner than later. Anyone have any of experience or anything with this? :)

@Jhm88 I’ve also got PCOS which gives me stupidly long cycles. I’m on cycle day 40, no sign of ovulation or my period yet. It’s so frustrating. I’ve just bought some ovulation tests as im determined not miss the window this cycle like I did last cycle! So completely sympathise with you about the irregular cycles causing problems!

Im sure the doctor would be sympathetic? PCOS makes losing weight so hard! Starting off with doing bloods day 2/21 to test for ovulation would be a good start.

I’ve never taken any medicine to help with ovulation so can’t really help there, sorry. But my GP said she was very happy to prescribe medicine to help with ovulation if I needed it so I hope your GP would be helpful too.

AF predicted this weekend. No sign of any symptoms but still holding out hope. Planning to test tomorrow, if bfn then I'll wait until AF arrives

6/7dpo breasts and nipples feel like they were gotten with a grater..very bloated and odd pulling cramps 🤞it’s a good one. Post bbt chart later
