Have good weekends everyone. I should be on tomorrow.

Starshinetiger · 20/06/2008 20:45

Oh, sounds like I've missed everyone today.
Kayz - glad you had a good time at Boyzone.
Diege - glad sickness is staying away. Fingers crossed it remains away and you can enjoy a different pregnancy to your others.
Interesting chats on here this week - been too busy at work to really catch up. On the topic of the week, I had it all planned out at 21 - was going to have met the man of my dreams within a couple of years, be married at 28 and have a baby at 30. As it turned out, enjoyed uni and travelling afterwards, but didn't meet DH until near the end of my travels in Australia when I was 25. We stayed in touch and then started going out back in the UK about a year later, but didn't live in the same city until I was 27. Then I spent 3 years studying part-time for my MSc and we got married while I was doing that. Finally after enjoying about 6 months of us time, we decided to try for a baby and see what happened - 9 months later DS was born , by which time I was 32. Finally got my career on track when I was 7 months pregnant (we had moved into our house the month in which DS was conceived), so by the time he was born, we had house, I had career and most importantly we have each other - not really how I "planned" it out, but I absolutely love how it's all turned out. I guess the same as all of you, kind of just gone with the flow of how things happened.
Hope you all have good weekends - we have nothing in particular planned, but DH is only working Saturday this weekend, so we may be extremely domesticated and go to a garden centre on Sunday !
DH discovered the coolest thing - we have a new screen as our PC monitor, which can also be used as a TV and has freeview - I can actually use the PC and have the TV on in the corner - currently MN and Friends at the same time! Amazing !
Right, have had a glass -or- -two- of wine - it's been a long week and I'm now on CD5, so fingers crossed won't be drinking for the next 9 months! I'd better go snuggle DH rather than embarrass myself on here any further.
Gruffalo - hope camping is good.

jamescagney · 20/06/2008 21:38

hello ladies - quick question from a lurker / newbie - I am CD16 at the moment - when can I test?

I'm SO impatient it's ridiculous.

tinkhasabean · 21/06/2008 17:38

you can test earliest 14 dpo.
it is hard waiting isnt it.
i am 10 weeks pregnant.

auntyspan · 21/06/2008 19:23

dpo - is that days post ovulation??

So... urm.... I think I ovulated on Wednesday... so that means I can't test until 2nd July... man that's AGES!!!

and congrats tinkhasabean.... what were your first symptoms....??

tinkhasabean · 21/06/2008 21:05

yes dpo is days past ovulation
so you are 3dpo then yep hang on in there you need to have enough hcg in your urine
thanks as
my first symptoms were instead of usual dragging feeling for impending period i had bubbling, also freezing and i just knew i was.

Diege · 22/06/2008 15:04

Hello! So whatsunshine is this then??? Still blowing a gale here, but the worst of the rain last night.
Back from town, after spending a large amount on absolutely nothing, but hey that's kids for you . I could also muder a sleep, but must press on with my exam marking. Will try and pop back later

lardybump · 22/06/2008 15:32

I am so hungry again... And have cracked and eaten lots of junk today. Must be extra good next week with lots of fruit and low fat stuff......

Diege · 22/06/2008 15:54

That was my plan LB, but I'm still shovelling in the crap...I figure I'll need the extra calories when/if the sickness hits! (lost 1.5 stone last time in 6 weeks, tis a great diet ). Have bought the Davina pregnancy/postnatal dvd today though, so have a plan to stop too much weight piling on lest the hunger continues!
Making some cheese on toast now...Shall a put another slice in for you LB?

lardybump · 22/06/2008 16:00

Oh diege next time I would love some. But dp has just called saying dinner is ready so I am going to go and eat now....... I probably wont be back today so see you tomorrow. Let me know what the dvd is like I might need to buy it myself......

tinkhasabean · 22/06/2008 16:03

i will have a slice then diege
i am looking @ getting a quinny buzz for new one plus base to fit maxi cosi baby seat onto frame.
