Hi kay and Deige,

Congrats to your friend Deige.

You know today seems to be going really slowly. I have loads of work to do but can't seem to find the enthusiasm to do it!

lardybump · 20/06/2008 15:49

Afternoon everyone nice weekend plans all around. We have a friends bbq sat then I am working sunday so not much going on really.

NJ Glad you popped on I was a bit worried for a while as I hadn't spoken to you in ages. Hope that everything is ok and that you will be back full time soon as we miss you....

Teuch it really has been a long time. How the devil are you? How is the bump?

Hi to everyone else...

Oh Kays how was boyzone?

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 16:42

Hi LB, how are you today?

lardybump · 20/06/2008 16:45

I am ok except for a pounding headache. DP is doing ot so wont be in until later but I have told him to get me some tablets on his way home......

How about you playing how are you? It is very quiet on here today...

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 16:48

I'm good thanks, really looking forward to the weekend. It has been quiet. Thinking about it its probably because most of the "founders" are now up the duff ( or takign a break from MN) so are too tired/busy etc to come on here as much. Its a bit sad actually, I miss everyone.

Sorry to hear abotu your headache, hopefully the tablets will help.

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 16:49

You would think after all the years I have spent typing and working at computers I would be able to post something without a typo

Diege · 20/06/2008 16:51

Gruffalo, obsession would be an understatement for my dh and cycling . He's majorly involved in the local cycle campaign and goes overseas to talk about it all. We are 'known' locally through his bike which has a front seat for dd2, and back one for dd1, he's on the main seat and dd1 is attached to the back on a tag along . Plus he's always going on these 'critical mass' things
Hi Playing - not long till home time now!Kayz, sounds like a nice weekend - I often like the unplanned ones the best. LB, how goes it? Has the sickness/tiredness/ravenous appetite etc hit yet??
Oh and my frienbd's twins are already names - Callum and Connor

lardybump · 20/06/2008 16:55

Lovely names Diege she must be thrilled.... I am ok thanks diege. No sickness yet but I have a ravenous appetite, that I am finding really hard to keep in check.... Really dont want to put on as much weight this time so trying really hard not to eat for two (or four as I did last time .

You must be over 6 weeks now diege how are you feeling?

Diege · 20/06/2008 17:00

Good thanks LB. Like you, ravenous a lot of the time (sooo different from last 3 times), very tired and out of breath, even going up the stairs, and v.sore boobs, but no sickness yet . By the way, meant to say to you how full of admiration I am for you after reading your story about the baby you lost . You must be very strong, and where you are now must give lots of hope to others going through the same thing I'm sure

tinkhasabean · 20/06/2008 17:04

hi

not much planned here for wknd either just shopping in town in morn and housework in aft while dh works.
thinking about what to have for tea obssesed with pizza

lardybump · 20/06/2008 17:04

Thank you diege that is very kind of you... So what crazy cravings have you having?? I am so pleased about your sickness fingers crossed you dont get any.... How cool would that be!!

Diege · 20/06/2008 17:09

Mmm pizza Tinks . LB, my current food 'cravings' are as with other pregnancies...tinned garden peas, tinned sliced carrots (not whole, as dh very clearly found out), breaded chicken fillets, mash and prawn crackers (the Sharwood ones, not the 'fresh'). Oh and potato waffles. As you can see, I am my bean is obviously asking for wholesome nutritious food . You know I can't dare think I may get no sickness, after being hospitalised 2 out of 3 times, and borderline with dd2. Maybe a boy then??? Did you get sickness with dd LB?

lardybump · 20/06/2008 17:10

Tink I have been craving pizza today as well... I put one in the oven for my tea a nice weight watchers one. DD distracted me and it is charcoal now.... I am so tempted to order a take out but cant because it is to lardy...

lardybump · 20/06/2008 17:12

I was very sick with dd from about 5 weeks until 14 weeks when it stopped totally. The only time I didn't feel sick was when I was eating..... I remember driving up the M6 at 6 in the morning eating salt and vin discos

Diege · 20/06/2008 17:15

Go get a takeaway LB! You have 36 weeks to get back on track

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 17:18

OOO pizza thats a nice idea, think I might get a takeaway pizza from our fav italian restuarant for supper tonight. yum

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 17:29

Right ladies I am off home. Have a good weekend and I will catch up on Monday.

Cosmo - if I don't speak to you on Mon have a great holiday.

lardybump · 20/06/2008 17:37

night playing have a good weekend.

lardybump · 20/06/2008 19:10

Its spooky on here again tonight. I can hear my echo, echo echo echo.......

glaskham · 20/06/2008 19:29

echo.... echo.... echo....

I'm lurking but watching my soaps and soon will be cooking tea for DH. Going for a wander around a carboot tomorrow with my sister and the DC's, then going to collect their portraits in the afternoon. thinking of treating them to tesco cafe lunch too saves dashing home for lunch and dashing out again!!

Then on sunday we are going to DH's DF & DSM's pub for the day as its a fun day and they have bouncy castles, cowboy's line dancing, massive bbq and we get a fun day for nothing!!

I'm hoping i can drag DH round another couple of carboots on sunday before we set off aswell, me and the kids love a good wander, never really buy much but crappy toys for the kids, but its nice to go!!

kayzisexpecting · 20/06/2008 19:30

We are having a takeaway tonight. I really want a kebab! I don't normally like them!!

LB, BOYZONE ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing!!!

How are you?

lardybump · 20/06/2008 19:48

I am ok at the moment thanks. Had a pounding headache earlier but dp get me some pain killers and it is ok now.

I still have a massive hunger but trying so hard to be good. I am having pizza later though DP bought one for me on the way home as I burnt mine earlier ...

What kebab are you going to get?? I love chicken with garlic sauce..... ummmmmmmm

lardybump · 20/06/2008 19:49

Glaskam your weekend sounds great. You are going to busy.... I love the idea of the pub fun day. Wish it was down here I would love to go to that...

kayzisexpecting · 20/06/2008 19:49

I might just get a normal donor one. I'm getting a pizza too just incase the kebab isn't as nice as I want it to be.

Diege · 20/06/2008 19:53

Mmm, chicken with garlic sauce . It's funny, with the other pregnancies even a picture of something like, say, a fried egg would have me dry wretching (but, hey, even a knock at the door would make me puke, ditto the small of the pages of a book)whereas now the mention of pizza and garlic sauce makes my mouth water .
In fact, was going to have a bit of what the dds had left for tea (chicken fahitas) but dh is being sent out (yet again) for chicken tikka in a naan bread to which I will add copious amounts of tomato ketchup .
Off now, so speak tomorrow hopefully
Have a good weekend all - and is it Nat's birthday on Sunday or have I made that up??
