Teuch · 20/06/2008 10:43

Ah, NJ...x-posts!

Yes, I have been a little guilty of the 'snoozing up the back, whilst slavering on the wagon window'

Hello!! Have been lurking too, but been v.busy at work and not really had the chance to post anything meaningful!
Glad to hear everyone's doing well - v.envious of youe weekend in Cork Ses . Have a lovely time
Just got back from GP appointment - what a waste of a £6 taxi fare . All he did was to take dpown date of last AF, and then tell me the midwife would be in touch and all while looking at the computer screen and never even turning his head to look at me! Ah well, at least I'm in the 'system' now!
Still no sickness here - can I dare even start to think I might not suffer this time??? (always started at 4.5 weeks with dds, I'm 6 weeks today - as is Sorky!!!_ Yah!!

kookykid · 20/06/2008 11:38

Lucky old Cosmo and Ses! Wish we were going away somewhere.

Glask - good to hear your cats and DCs rub along nicely together - am more worried about the kittens than DD!

Hello Diege and NJ. Hope your pregnancies are going well. Fingers crossed for no MS Diege.

Have a good birthday on Sunday Nat. Its my mum's birthday and her DP has taken her to Bruges for a long weekend.

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 12:40

So, what does everyone have planned for the weekend then?

Heebeejeebee · 20/06/2008 12:50

Hi everyone

Not much planned here (though I'm on CD14 and got my 'peak' today so will certainly be keeping DH busy this evening!)...

Glask - I'd love cats but we've just moved into a new house which we've done up and I'm not ready to have the floors/furniture ruined just yet (I suggested socks for them, but DH wasn't keen..)

GruffaloSoldier · 20/06/2008 12:54

Hi everyone

I am going camping with DH and 2000 cyclists for a 24 hour race which my DH will be participating in on his unicycle, with a team of other unicyclists

Weather is not supposed to be very good either - great!

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 13:33

Heebee, I like the plan!

Gruffalo, the weather forecast in looking a lot better than it did. We were supposed to be going camping this weekend on the sat night. A pub a few miles out of town in the middle of no where is hosting their annual longest day festival, which is basically a beer, pimms and music festival. Its always a good laugh but of course you can't drink and drive and a taxi both ways is a bit pricey. So we were going to camp there with friends on the sat night but they didn't want to go cos of the weather and have now made other plans. Now the weather forecast looks better I think we could get away with it, but we don't have a tent. Its a shame, I really fancied it!

GruffaloSoldier · 20/06/2008 13:54

It's near Worcester, where it is forecast heavy rain, but I will keep my fingers crossed. I don't mind camping in the rain, quite like it acrtually. (cosy ) But means DH will be coming in very muddy and soggy!

That is a shame you don't have a tent! I'm sure you will think of something to do instead

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/06/2008 14:05

Oh we can always find stuff to do but I think Dh is a bit GOFed out at the moment! I never thought I would utter that sentence. Well I see if anyone else is going when I go to the pub, if they are maybe they have a tent, either that or we can share a taxi. Or I suppose I could not drink as I should be in the 2ww, not sure I'm keen on that idea though

Diege · 20/06/2008 14:37

Damn all this forcast rain!!! We were planning on going to a friends for a big informal garden party kids thing, but looks like it'll be cancelled now .
At least I have getting my roots done to look forward to tomorrow morning!!
Gruffalo, sounds like yourt dh and mine are kindred spirits re: cycling
Fingers crossed for your weekend Playing . lol at all gof-fed out...ah I remember the days...
Oh and twin friend has had her babies . Two little boys who are absolutely gorgeous from the piccies I've seen

GruffaloSoldier · 20/06/2008 14:45

Diege, is your DH completely obsessed too? It drives me mad, although he probably spends as much time on his cycling forums than I do on mn!

Hooray for twins, how lovely! Do they have names yet?

kayzisexpecting · 20/06/2008 15:05

Nothing planned at all for weekend. Probably just lazing around. Might go for a walk if its nice.

Diege, congrats to your friend!!
