Glaskham - really disappointed for you but as you say, it was just the first month. Our bodies can be really cruel sometimes and get our hopes up. Fingers crossed that when those lucky tests arrive, their lucky vibes will make a difference!

EsmeWeatherwax · 18/06/2008 09:40

Morning all,

Yay Cosmo and Gruffalo, hopefully you'll not be ttc for long!

Ses, glad you're signed off, hope the scan can sort out some more whats happening to you!

Glask, sorry af turned up, always a bummer, specially when you've been hoping so much when its late...

Tink, love the scan pic! sigh...I found that bit so exciting!

For me af due tomorrow. Tested yesterday and was a bfn, with an ebay cheapy. Trying valiantly to resist testing til tomorrow again, as I only have one test left!

EsmeWeatherwax · 18/06/2008 09:41

Sorry, catching up...when I was pg with dd I put on a stone, two weeks after her birth I was a stone lighter than I was when I got pg! Have put it back on now mind you...lol...

Diege · 18/06/2008 09:47

Aww Glaskham . But as you say, onwards and upwards, and lots of goffing to look forward to along with a supply of tests .
SES, so glad you got your dr's note - what a tremendous relief and must be great letting your boss know too .
Right, I have students waiting for me to start, so best go I suppose...

2beautifulgirls · 18/06/2008 09:50

Morning all.

Welcome to all the newbies.

Good luck to Cosmo and gruffalo on the TTC journey hoping its a short one for you both.

Pleased that your doctor was sympathic Ses and signed you off, hope you horrid boss realises now what stress you are under. Will be thinking of you today and hope you finally get some closure on things and can look forward.

Sorry the Witch got you Glaskham, she is truly evil playing games like that!

Well no AF here for me yet and another BFN this morning
Think its probably stress, my grandad is very poorly in Hospital, all called there last night as not much left they can do for him now

tinkhasabean · 18/06/2008 10:15

sorry glas and 2bgs 4 bfn kooky i keep feeling abit nauseous all day on and off nothing 2 bad
how r u?

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/06/2008 10:52

2beautiful - sorry about your grandad - you're right stress really can delay your period.

Think I've just has a whole load of EWCM, so pretty happy about that! Not completely convinced though, I must admit I am finding it harder to monitor with Dh's little swimmers getting in the way as well! Does anyone have a def way of telling the difference between EWCM and "left overs"? Have a feeling I have both today but would liek to be sure

Purlease · 18/06/2008 11:00

I'd planned on testing tomorrow on DH's birthday but couldn't wait. BFP
Dh didn't get too excited by it as I miscarried in April after 8 weeks so we don't want to get ahead of ourselves. Now the anxious wait for a positive 12 week scan looms over me.

Anyway positive vibes to all TTC - this is definitely a lucky thread

DarrellRivers · 18/06/2008 11:01

what a pity glaskham and 2bgs for those rubbish bfns.
roll on another cycle

DarrellRivers · 18/06/2008 11:02

and congrats purlease

Purlease · 18/06/2008 11:08

thanks. Will probably test again tomorrow as the line took a long time to show - in fact I was almost throwing it out thinking it was BFN - cheapy Tesco one.

Sorry Glaskham and 2bgs about BFNs.

Purlease · 18/06/2008 11:08

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/06/2008 11:08

CONGRATULATIONS Purlease. Antoher BFP, yay!!

Purlease · 18/06/2008 11:08

oops

Starshinetiger · 18/06/2008 11:11

Congrats Purlease! How very exciting, but understand it must be very nerve-wracking as well. Shall remain hopeful for you.

Glask - sorry about AF - roll on new cycle. You're just 3 days behind me, so we can be cycle buddies and keep hopeful for this month?!

2beautifulgirls · 18/06/2008 11:13

Congratulations Purlease

lastboxoftampons · 18/06/2008 11:51

congrats Purlease! is that a record for shortest off-the-wagon-to-pregnant span???

Glad you've got a doctor's note Ses, and that your GP is sympathetic about the situation. I've got an appointment to see mine on Friday, although going to try to see if they'll see me tomorrow instead. After having such a wacky period starting and stopping and at least one day earlier than should be, thought it was time to see a professional. Wouldn't you know it today I'm CD11 and spotting Not sure what it's all about, but I think my mc in March really did my body/hormones in Hoping to get some answers.

Sorry about your AF showing Glaskham

Welcome to the newbies!

Heebeejeebee · 18/06/2008 12:47

As this thread is so lucky - I think I need to join! Had a m/c at 9 weeks in Feb, but am very much ttc again!

lastboxoftampons · 18/06/2008 13:05

Welcome, HeeBee. I had a mmc at 11 weeks in March, so we're about in the same boat! or, er, wagon. Or off it at least...um, never mind! Welcome!

Heebeejeebee · 18/06/2008 13:16

Thanks! I love your name btw - fingers crossed it is!

monkeybumsmum · 18/06/2008 13:16

Hello! Can I join too please? Sounds like a lot of fun here! I'm ttc DC2 - had mc at 8 weeks last month, so first cycle of trying again.... Very nervous, but desperately excited too

Congratulations to purlease too Fab news!

happynappies · 18/06/2008 13:23

Congratulations purlease that is fantastic news, really pleased for you!

Sorry to hear about AF Glask - hope you not feeling too down, next cycle comes around quicker than you think!

Welcome to more newbies - I can't keep track of who everyone is anymore!

So tired... got to go and clean the highchair blast-zone and wash up after dd before finding myself something to eat now... nothing seems appealing!

lastboxoftampons · 18/06/2008 13:23

Thanks, HeeBee. Have to admit I bought that box at the end of the AF before my most recent one hoping to be PG this past cycle. But I haven't actually finished the box so I don't feel too much of a fraud keeping my name Hoping it is the last box too!

Welcome, Monkeybum. Sorry to hear about your mc You'll find loads of support here.

Guess our thread title is reeling them in - well done, Sorky!

lastboxoftampons · 18/06/2008 13:26

Oops, came on here to post this and then forgot!

Baby crying in the womb

Warning, it's absolutely amazing, but it made me so sad for the little baby! You all with the pregnancy hormones raging might want to steer clear or you'll be in tears!

monkeybumsmum · 18/06/2008 13:36

Thanks for welcome LBoT & happynappies, looking forward to having lots to chat about! Sorry too LBoT about your mmc

Wow re video! I never even thought about whether a baby could cry in the womb. Truly fascinating! Did make me just grab DS for a cuddle though - aren't they amazing
