Hello to all the newbie's, hope you settle in but have a short stay

That is amazing LBOT, it does look like crying doesn't it? Though why you would deliberately make you fetus cry is beyond me

Well I'm knackered! Looking after 3 kids all day is exhausting whilst in the early stages of pg

This morning I came down to a grubby house because I didn't have the energy to clean up last night, I got huge piles of ironing, had a huge pile of dishes, only just eaten lunch at 2pm and was so tired this morning that I made breakfast and put the tv on. That way I could lie on the sofa and keep an eye on them without moving too much

I stayed there until 10.30am, when I felt human again. I've cleaned the kitchen and we've been out for a walk to the library and shops.

I've got the tea to prepare and some ironing to do as well as upstairs (which looks trashed) and the living room to pick up.

WHY DO THEY MAKE SO MUCH MESS!?!

I haven't had a chance to catch up so forgive me please I just needed to let it out.

I'm off now

More newbies, we are going to have to drag out that list at some point and update. Where is NJ and why isn't see doing her list duty!

Sorry you having such a tough time Sorky, its only goign to get worse with 4 Only kidding, soom they'll be big enough to clear up after themselves, either that or make it an essential part of your HE

Not sure that video clip works without the sound, cant see anything but movement

Where is everyone and why I we so quiet today?

kookykid · 18/06/2008 15:11

Oh, Glask, so sorry for AF . I was so sure you were pg. Not surprised you're gutted but fingers crossed this next cycle will be the one!

2bg, sorry for your bfn too.

Purlease, Yay for your BFP - congrats and let's hope this one stays put. Know the next few weeks will be tense times.

Hello newbies! Good luck to everyone.

LBOT - sorry Afs been all up the creek and hope you get some answers soon.

Hello Sorky, Playing and Kooky

Can't write more at mo coz ds is waking from nap and I need to quickly shove some washing in before getting him up. God MN is distracting isn't it

monkeybumsmum · 18/06/2008 15:43

In a muddle - that last post was from me (am in disguise as don't want rl friends to catch on we're ttc )

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/06/2008 16:12

Ah, I know the problem. Really don't want people to know who I am as I am ttcing dc1 so it will be a big life change! MN is completely distracting, its great when you're at wirk!!

lardybump · 18/06/2008 16:47

Hello everyone and welcome all the new ladies.....

I need to know what exercise I can do while pg. I need to make sure that weight doesn't pile on... And It needs to be something I can do with dd so swimming is out really.... Any ideas?

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 16:56

Hi all and welcome to newbies!!

LB - not sure about the exercise in pg thing but I think they normally say in the first trimester to carry on as you have been exercising for the last few months and if that's not much (as it would be for me) then not to suddenly introduce loads of exercise. I think most pg pilates or yoga classes are generally for 2nd trimester onwards and if you want something you can do with dd maybe a simple 30 minute walk (maybe down to nearby playground??) may be a good starting place? Am definitely not an "expert" tho so some of the others may have better advice...

MinkyBorage · 18/06/2008 17:00

Hello, thanks for lovely welcomes! Am still daunted, as each time I look at thread such lot has happened! Will get in to it though!I am insane, only did the deed last Friday night, and already desperate to try a test! What's wrong with me? It would be like throwing a fiver done the toilet!
Sorry about your bfn glaskhamCongratulations Purlease

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/06/2008 17:06

NOt sure LB about exercise, I studiously avoid exercise

Hi Ses - how you feeling today?

Minky - the thread has actually moved slowly today! No what you mean abotu wanting to test I have done loads of GOFing recently but think I am oving today/tomorrow so no chance of actually being pg yet but I still stop thinking about it!

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 17:06

Minky - it can be a bit daunting cos it is such a fast moving thread but we're not all on here the whole time (even if it may sometimes look that way!) You just need to get used to allowing catch up time!

2beautifulgirls · 18/06/2008 17:07

Welcome all the newbies, wow this is getting busy.

Ses, how did the scan go?

DarrellRivers · 18/06/2008 17:09

I spent some time looking wistfully at Isabella Oliver clothes on Ebay.
I want to wear maternity clothes again and feel sick and tired (stamps foot)
Allowed myself to do that as a treat rather than test (D6 post ovulation)

lardybump · 18/06/2008 17:09

oh ses so sorry I forgot how did the scan go today??

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 17:14

Hello Playing!

Been back at the EPU today for what feels like most of the day! Blood test results from Monday still show a decrease in HCG and the scan today showed no change so they suggested another ERPC So then had pre-op assessments and saw a registrar. Looks like another week off work next week then - not sure what boss will think. I still haven't heard from him but thought I'd better phone him today after hearing about ERPC next week. I did but was relieved to get his voicemail so left a message...

V exciting though is that DH and I are going away Fri til Sun as it's our 2nd Wedding Anniversary next Tuesday We've just got 2 nights in Cork but am looking forward to it and will hopefully give us some time to recharge together.

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 17:18

Think I may be investing in some hpt at end of next week but I'm going to be looking for BFNs!! How bizarre is that! Never thought I'd want that! Think we'll probably wait before ttc again until September (I'm typing September but thinking August - how bad is that!) I'm not sure how to cut and paste on mn and update the list but if anyone gets round to it, I guess I'll be Ses15, ttc dc1, waiting til September. (Think that's right???!)

lardybump · 18/06/2008 17:19

~So sorry ses, hope you have a lovely weekend away though..

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/06/2008 17:21

So sorry Ses, at least you are getting some answers now and some time away might be just what you need.

Darrell, I have so far avoided maternity clothes although DH keeps sending me links for pushchairs/cots/baby clothes etc on ebay. I'm not even pg yet FGS!

tinkhasabean · 18/06/2008 17:21

sorry ses cork will be nice

lastboxoftampons · 18/06/2008 17:26

Sorry Ses about your news But have a lovely time for your anniversary. Sometimes I know I get so caught up in TTC that I forget I'm trying to make a child with the man I love - it's good to have opportunities to remember, inevitably that's what's likely to produce the desired result anyway!

Minky Don't forget to pee on that fiver before you flush it!

lardybump · 18/06/2008 17:33

Me and DP have just had a huge blow up again..... FFS I dont know what is happening to us at the moment.... sorry just needed to rant abit. Wont go into details as it is so dull...

But really annoying.

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/06/2008 17:33

Right, I am going to head off home now and I will catch up with you all tomorrow.

Bye.

lardybump · 18/06/2008 17:36

Night playing..

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 17:38

Don't worry LB - feel free to rant if it helps!

kookykid · 18/06/2008 17:45

Night night Playing.

LB Rant away, me dear! That's what we're here for!

Ses Gaaaaaargh! On your behalf. What a friggin' nightmare. I think getting away this weekend will be just what you need.

Minky may I suggest some Ebay cheapies so you don't feel bad about testing?? How about these!!!
