Well Happy? What was the result?

imaginarybluelines · 16/06/2008 09:26

twobeautifugirls - let's hope all this cm is a good sign!

happynappies · 16/06/2008 09:27

Yay - BFP on Saturday. Was wanting to wait until Sunday, and let dh know the news on Father's Day, but buckled on Saturday and poas. Got +, and was going to wait until Sunday to tell him, but had told him within the hour! Tbh doesn't feel 'real' at all yet... hasn't sunk in!

Diege · 16/06/2008 09:27

You never know Esme! No symptoms don't necessary mean not lucky this month .
I would say test at the weekend IBL, though as Nat says no harm at all sneaking an earlier one in if you can rationalise a neg as too early!
Sorky, I have a GPs appointment this Friday. Seems it's all change since I had dd3 2.5 years ago - used to contact midwife directly to be booked in, but now you have to see GP just so they can get you 'in the system', but midwife still does the booking in? Seems v.odd. I mean, what do I say..err I'm pregnant...ok I'll contact the midwife...bye!! Don't need sample here either, as they trust hpts..Ahh well, at least it will be a trip out
Any sign of your nausea yet Sorky??
Still ravenous here - a real novelty for me in pregnany! Waiting for my 2 hard boiled eggs and toast!

EsmeWeatherwax · 16/06/2008 09:27

YYAAAYYY!!!!!!!!!! Go Happynappies!

Diege · 16/06/2008 09:28

2beautifulgirls · 16/06/2008 09:28

Congratulations Happynappies

Fingers crossed IBL.

Ses15 · 16/06/2008 09:29

2bg - Hope postie arrives promptly early!

Diege - I love York! Even tho I'm a southerner, by best friend moved up to York about 10 yrs ago and is now settled there with her DH and dd (my goddaughter). It is always fab times when we go up and see them. Predominantly as it's them but also York is sooo beautiful with lots of little cafes etc. Hmmmm methinks I need another trip up there soon!

imaginarybluelines · 16/06/2008 09:30

Congratulations happynappies - fantastic news - so pleased for you!

Diege - I had an appointment with the GP when was about 10 weeks pregnant with DD. It was so pointless. I was expecting them to say / do something profound. In fact she just about scraped a 'congratulations' and that was it.
Think I will wait till the weekend. less tressful than testing and getting a neg.

sorkycake · 16/06/2008 09:30

THE most successful thread on the ttc boards for definite

Congratulations HN!

That's a few in February now isn't it?

Diege I have to head over to library and shops today so I might nip into the GP's and pick up a urine sample bottle. How many weeks are we, 5?

HAPPY _ common! You can't leave it like that......!!!!

happynappies · 16/06/2008 09:31

Thank you - I was 13dpo when I tested, and due date according to FF is 21 February, but I guess from LMP it will be later... still feel a bit shocked tbh, even though was obsessively madly wanted to be pg, just hasn't sunk in that I actually am if that makes sense!

kookykid · 16/06/2008 09:31

DOh - just seen the next page (what a wally0.

2beautifulgirls · 16/06/2008 09:34

Me and DH went to York for the Weekend last year for my birthday, it is a beautiful place, i loved Betty's tearooms (i think that was what it was called)and the minster was amazing.

Thanks Ses, i hope you appointment goes ok today and you can final get some answers. Will be thinking of you.

happynappies · 16/06/2008 09:34

Thanks everyone - this is the best ttc board, everyone so kind and supportive through all the ups and downs. Thanks everyone for looking at my chart and helping me along the way, I really, really appreciate it

Fingers crossed for you 2bg - hope that postman brings the test soon!

kookykid · 16/06/2008 09:36

Happy by name and happy by nature! SO pleased for you.

2BG - have me fingers crossed for you.

Ses, Diege and Kay, think you're all based in/near York? My ILs are there so we could try a meet up sometime??

Ses15 · 16/06/2008 09:38

Kooky - unfortunately I'm about 250 miles south of York! Love it tho and do go up there about 3-4 times a year to visit friends. You never know, we could all coincide a visit!

kayzisexpecting · 16/06/2008 09:43

YAY!!!!! Congrats Happy!!!!

Kooky I am in Pickering which is around 25 miles from York!

Diege · 16/06/2008 09:48

Kooky, I'm not York-based either, but friend has a flat there so I try and go up regulalry to see her. Not too far away though (Warrington) so maybe a York mini meet would be in order .
Sorky, I think we are going in to our 6th week if you see what I mean. I'm counting each new week from the day after af was due (as week 4) so for me I'll be 6 weeks on Thursday . Think you are 2 days ahead of me goinf by due date? (but then of course that assumes we ovulated 2 days apart . I always measure under the mean anyway (sometimes up to 2 weeks out) but all dds have been 5/6 days early (and good weights!)

sorkycake · 16/06/2008 09:52

so if LMP was 11th May what does that make me now?

Diege that post confused me no end (it is easy atm)

Hi Ladies,

Just signing in, off to read the rest of the thread now but before I go just wanted to say:

CONGRATULATIONS HAPPY!

Diege · 16/06/2008 09:57

Ok, I'll try to be a bit clearer! My LMP was 8th May, so you are 3 days ahead of me. So, going by 28 day cycle this would mean you would be 6 weeks tomorrow .
