Yes it does mean that. If its faster it means its a girl but it's not foolproof.

sorkycake · 16/06/2008 07:48

NJ have you bought your doppler or hired one? I can't remember which. I think I'm going to buy one, never had one for the other three, can they go in water?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 07:51

My foof?????

I know the old wives tale about that, but I thought it meant the lower half of the normal =a boy, and the higher half = a girl, but is out of the 'normal' range too fast? Is it because it is still quite early to hear it?

I have mine on a rental agreement, but if I rent it for 6 months it becomes mine You can get waterproof ones for £25 a month, not sure it would be worth getting though, the MW would have one for labour.

Diege · 16/06/2008 07:55

Morning! Have to dash, but just wanted to say Nat that 185 is perfectly normal. Upper limit of 'normal' is 190 (dd1 and dd2 always calculated at 185-190, usually 190) whereas dd3 confounded the stereotype at 140 consistently . Back soon

sorkycake · 16/06/2008 07:57

the spd NJ? is it any worse/better?

imaginarybluelines · 16/06/2008 07:59

Morning everyone. Sorry it's been a while - can never keep on on here. How is everyone?

I was wondering if there are any ewcm experts amoung you this morning (NJ - I know you are! Although I don't think I eed to see the lovely picture again this morning yet - maybe just a little too early!)
So - I am confused. I am on day 24 of my cycle, and thought, maybe, that I ov'd around day 15. Maybe! I am a bit rubbish at reading the signs. Anyway... yesterday (sorry waaaaaaaaaay tmi coming up - look away if you are eating brekkie!) discharge was kind of thicker and lumpier than usual, and this morning it's really thin and there's tons of it. Arrrrghhhhhhhh. I am so confused. What's going on? I am due on sat if I still gave 28 day cycles and was even debating testing tomorrow. Now I am thinking maybe I am only just ov'ing now? Sorry it's so long. Heeeeeeeeelp!

Diege · 16/06/2008 08:10

Oooh IBL I got this when pregnany with dds1 and 2, up to and a few days after my bfps!
Fingers crossed for you

imaginarybluelines · 16/06/2008 08:14

Wow Diege I think I might actually love you a little bit. Must not test yet! Rather tempted now though.

Diege · 16/06/2008 08:16

Aww shucks . Don't you dare test yet though!!! [stern look]

Ses15 · 16/06/2008 08:18

Morning all!

IBL - sorry not much of an expert on EWCM but wouldn't mind knowing more too (Never thought I'd say that!) for future reference!

Thanks again for all your support guys and permission to rant. Want to try not to as just want to move on in as positive a way as possible and finally get pg and have dc1!!

Another blood test this morning - not really sure why unless they're just triple checking that I'm not pg. As a result I think I'm still wondering whether that's a possiblility at the v back of my mind.

Also if I need to have another ERPC am not sure when as DH away (again, lucky sod!)in Scotland Tues & Wed night and then we've got a wkend away booked next wkend in Cork for our 2nd Wed Ann. Don't really want to be feeling crap after ERPC over the wkend but also want to get it all sorted asap!!!

Sorry - having said I was going to try not to rant, I now seem to have had typing diarrhoea!

Wkend away will probably be a good thing anyway and I already had this week booked off as annual leave which has worked out well!!??!!

On a happier note, 2BG - are you testing today then??? Any news???!!

sorkycake · 16/06/2008 08:18

Did you dry up after the cd15 possible Ovulation?

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 08:23

SPD, it isn't hurting anywhere near as much as it was last week, everything is soft, I know because I sit/lay too still for a long time, things shift, and click, and grate against each other, but it isn't actually hurting very much - luckily! Am hoping it was just a surge of relaxin, and that it stays away for at least a while yet!

IBL, I would GOF just on the off chance, but I was the same as Diege, I thought I'd OV'ed on the Sunday, tested BFP on the Friday, so couldn't have OV'ed on the Sunday, it must have just been more EWCM due to the pregnancy Good luck!!! (I actually didn't see any more EWCM earlier in the month, but think I must have OV'ed very early, so wasn't looking for it, at the emergency scan I had she guessed I am a little further on than I think I am, which by the fact that I don't know when I OV'ed she could be right.)

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 08:24

Sorry meant to say thanks to Diege for that info about the heartbeat I wasn't especially worried (would have been on here within minutes of finding the beartbeat if I was!)

kayzisexpecting · 16/06/2008 08:29

Do you know when your 12 week scan is yet Nat?

Just being nosey but where did you get the doppler from? I am slightly tempted by it.

imaginarybluelines · 16/06/2008 08:37

Sorky - I had much less, in comparison to before. I seem to always have a little, but the days in between day 15 and yesterday there has been significantly less.

NJ Thanks - will GOF just for luck!

So when should I test? Due Sat I think. FR seems to say I can test from tomorrow - or is this just silly?

tinkisrevitalised · 16/06/2008 08:38

morning ladies

i am nervous about scan never had one this early only @ 20 wks with dd1 and not looking forward to drinking all the water and i have to have blood tests 2
of course i will post pic and details after
great news on finding heartbeatnat

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 08:41

12 week scan is July 2nd, (had to check my notes, LOL my memory is dead and gone!)

Will find the link to where I got it from when I get back from school.... we have to leave in 10 minutes, and DS2 is still eating his brekkie in his PJ's.....

IBL, if you can face a possible BFN (just because it's too early) and if you can afford it, test whenever you want, though I think you should wait till, Thusday, no Wednesday, no Thursday!!

sorkycake · 16/06/2008 08:43

Ooh that reminds me I really should get a sample to the doc's for them to send off shouldn't I?

Diege have you contacted the GP yet?

IBL test thursday

kookykid · 16/06/2008 08:51

Mornin' all!

Good luck with your scan today, Tink - sure it'll all be fine... looking forward to the pics later.

IBL - hope the week goes quickly for you. I hate the waiting!

Did anyone drink grapefruit juice when ttc? There's another thread about it and just wondered if any of you had tried it?

sorkycake · 16/06/2008 08:53

LG&T did twins run in your family?

OP posts:
EsmeWeatherwax · 16/06/2008 09:11

IBL, I had the loads of cm thing too when I was pg with dd. Also, am due to test on Thursday too! Although have sneakily done three one already. all BFN's of course.

Ses, sorry to hear your news, hope you don't have to have another ERPC.

Hello to everybody else! Lol, I really can't keep up with this thread...whenever I'm on, everybody else is away!

Anyway, suspect this is not my month, no symptoms, nothing and nada. Sigh...

happynappies · 16/06/2008 09:23

Morning all - what a quiet weekend eh?

Ses - I'm so sorry to hear your news, it must be unbelievably difficult not knowing/wondering/waiting. I hope you are ok.

NJ glad to hear your pelvic pain has eased - that is really good news.

Diege - glad you've had a good time away in York, sounds lovely!

Well... I tested at the weekend...

2beautifulgirls · 16/06/2008 09:24

Morning everyone.

Can't wait to hear about your scan and see pictures tink
Good luck with the consultant appointment today? If you don't mind me asking why do you have to see a Consultant Kay?

IBL i have been having loads of the CM too and i'm on CD 30 of a usual 28 day cycle.

So i'm waiting to test today still waiting impatiently for the postie and my bloody tests. This is like torture no tests and no AF. But hoping its a good sign them not arriving sooner as probably would of used them all already...

imaginarybluelines · 16/06/2008 09:25

ooooh Happynappies? Did you get a BFP????????????????????????????????????????? I am guessing you did, I hope you did, say you did!
