Sorry to hear you might be out @Blondepeach, sending hugs.

Yesterday was the predicted due date for my loss in March. I can't actually believe how quickly that has come round and how different life might have looked. A family member announced their pregnancy yesterday too so a bit of a shit day. 😞

Hycosy day for me today, just rattling out a few hours work before I head up. Wish me luck pls gals, I'm nervous x

Sorry to hear about your BFN and temps dropping, I also track temps and use this as a guide for when AF is due.

I think having a break is actually a good idea! I had a break last cycle and I do think it was good for me because I was able to track my PMS symptoms without thinking 'is this a pregnancy symptom'.. Also, I completely reset mentally, I was starting to go down an unhealthy route with this by logging every symptom, my temps etc on chatGPT and getting it to forecast potential symptoms, testing dates etc for me.. I haven't done that this cycle and definitely won't in future because it was starting to take over a little.

I have an addictive personality type and am very 'faddy', hence my nickname 'thismonthsfad' lol so having a break was a good opportunity to reset physically and mentally ❀️

Thank you @thismonthsfad ❀️

AF came today but I always feel like my BBT gives me a heads up and I’ve come to terms with it by the time it happens, so in a way I do feel BBT tracking useful.

Still undecided on the break but definitely considering it, I don’t think the obsessing is healthy and surely not good for stress levels. I also use ChatGPT WAY too much, I post my temp chart in there every single day πŸ™ƒ I will definitely stop myself doing that this month, may need to delete the app haha x

Ah sorry you might be out this month.

I've had recurrent miscarriage testing on the NHS, I think where I am works a little differently as I didn't have to wait for a referral. My EPAU just told me the info and got me to book in for the blood tests with them there after the appropriate waiting period post loss (which I can't remember how long it was but somewhere around 6 weeks I think). They also arranged a scan to check for the structure of my uterus.

Thanks @Moosey898 πŸ’•

useful to know what to expect, I guess bloods first makes sense. I have had a lot of fertility focussed bloods done recently through a endocrinologist, so hopefully I can bring my results and be fast tracked to a scan etc x

Sorry to hear its not looking good for this cycle. Sending lots of love and hope that you're not left waiting long to be out of limbo and if it's going to come that AF arrives soon.

I haven't been referred to the recurrent losses clinic just yet, but in my area, our NHS trust does blood test investigations after a second loss. And I've had that. They did some blood tests for a variety of things (thyroid function, thyroid anti-bodies, pre-diabetic screening, prolactin, etc). I had to ensure these tests were done at least 6 weeks after I had last been pregnant. The fertility nurse rang me with the results, I didn't have to go in for an appointment.

Not sure if that helps, but that's the first stage of recurrent loss investigations that they do in my area.

Thank you very much @Taysonic πŸ’• AF arrived today to onto the next! Hope my referral pops up soon, would like to get the ball rolling x

So sorry @ttcnumerodos ❀️ sending loads of love today.

Also, good luck with the Hycosy today. I’ve read lots of threads on here where people say it wasn’t a bad experience at all. I find it’s always the β€˜thought of’ these things that can be so anxiety inducing x

Elephantscantjump · 06/11/2025 12:10

Hi all, I've just jumped on as trying not to get my hopes up too much. I've been ttc for 20 months but cycle went a bit absent in Jan. After various tests ive been diagnosed with PCOS, ?if I've not been ovulating regularly at all despite regular periods although slightly long cycle. My partner went for tests last tuesday so awaiting results of those.

Was expecting period to arrive yday but have been having some mild cramps and light brown discharge when wiping (sorry for tmi) since sunday - not enough to need a pad. Today is day 34 of cycle and for last 6 months cycles have been consistently 31-32 days.

I'm so worried about taking a test but I know its the only way. Might see if I can hold off to the weekend.

Wishing positivity for everyone x

Thank you πŸ₯° It was super quick. I could feel the dye going in and it was crampy, but it eased quickly. Everything looked ok so the fertility nurse is going to call me next week to discuss my bloods and next steps.

How are you doing today? x

Oh wow I’m so pleased it wasn’t too bad for you, aside from some cramping ☺️ I have a feeling I’ll be having one when I get referred to the recurrent loss clinic due to my ectopic that was at the start of the year.

Im all good today, AF showed up so onto the next!! ✨

StayingHopefulx · 06/11/2025 17:15

@Limmers14 i didn’t see anything either to be fair! Not exactly sure? 8 I think but due period in 3 days

Iris2024 · 06/11/2025 17:59

I can’t believe it, I’ve been doing LH tests after my chemical and long cycle last month and I’ve had no surge and I’ve just wiped and blood on CD19. What the actual F!!! I just want my normal cycle back and ovulation 😩😩πŸ₯²πŸ₯²πŸ₯²

Ah man, I wish you weren't being kept in this limbo. If it helps (and it probably doesn't), I had some weird cycles with odd mid-cycle bleeding and strange periods for quite a while after my last loss. It may have been due to the methotrexate treatment, but it was so confusing that I ended up being seen back at the Gynae emergency department for further tests.

I felt like an absolute idiot when the outcome of everything was 'it's just irregularities in your cycle following the methotrexate, it's really normal'. It was so frustrating and confusing. But, things have settled back down now. Hopefully.

Sadly, these things all take time... and time is often the thign we don't feel like we have to spare!

Hey everyone , I’ve come for some reassurances really… I started bleeding 2 days ago lightly, thought it was my period as it was due. Saying that I wasn’t 100% so I did a early detection test before a wedding yesterday and it was negative.. I had a few drinks yesterday.. bleeding stopped last night and hasn’t come back.. I’m running to the shop now but has anyone found out they were pregnant after a night of drink???! I’m stressed? I was convinced I was out due to the bleeding & negative pregnancy test! And I have all the guilt now incase it is positive sorry for the rant…

@Limmers14 massive congratulations 😍 hope it all goes well for you πŸ₯°

StayingHopefulx · 09/11/2025 20:53

well it doesn’t get much clearer than that…
I am so so SO excited but the guilt is eating me up now

Edited

Did you manage to get another test ?

I had similar with my pregnancy for my son, I was expecting my period and had had cramps on the Friday night, had a wedding and a few drinks on the Saturday. No period by the Tuesday so I tested and was positive. I reckon the cramps were maybe implantation. I can't remember if I did a (negative) test on the Saturday morning before the wedding, I probably did.

Anyway it was all fine, totally healthy and straightforward pregnancy. A few drinks that early on won't have any negative effect on an otherwise successful conception/implantation. I remember reading into it first time round as well. So many people don't know they are pregnant for a while and drink as normal!

Fingers crossed for good news for you xxx

StayingHopefulx · 09/11/2025 22:01

@Doodlestar I did! A big fat positive!
thank you for sharing your story, it makes me feel less anxious hearing a similar experience! Thank you so so much!
