hello ☺️ CD 14 for me today ! TTC with pcos sending baby dust to all for November ✨

LookForTheLiight · 28/10/2025 06:39

Hope It’s ok to join. I’ve been ttc since April and just got a BFN so about to go into cycle 7 although it feels like 700. I was on earlier threads but found it all a bit tough.

Any supplements advice etc?

Fingers crossed for some BFPs in November!

ChaE05 · 28/10/2025 08:33

Thanks for starting the next thread! Although wishing I wasn't part of another one 🫠
Currently 3dpo on cycle 12 ttc my second. 2 early miscarriages at the beginning of the year. Age 38! All tests with NHS have come back normal. They have advised IVF as a next step so have a priavte fertility appointment at the end of Nov. Baby dust to all 🫢 x

StayingHopefulx · 28/10/2025 13:15

Hello!! Took some time out from October thread as I found very early I was not getting my bfp. TTC baby 2, cycle number 5 I think? Trying not to get bogged down by the timeline but it feels like it’s cycle 50… according to my cycle I should be ovulating sometime over the next two days but my clear blue tests still have a big ole circle!

sprinkling some baby dust and hope we all get our BFP this month ✨✨✨✨🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻

LuckyDuck93 · 28/10/2025 15:43

Hi everyone, i'm back again, cycle 16/17 for me, can't remember at this point!
TTC our 1st, just had a fertility referral done via NHS, not sure how long that takes (if anyone has any experience of what to expect that would be wonderful)

Trying to throw everything at it this month whilst also maintaining my sanity, wish me luck!

Blondepeach · 28/10/2025 16:40

Hi everyone!

Joining as was going to start a thread for others in the tww but just came across this existing one ☺️ 4DPO today. Been trying since June 2024, have had x3 chemicals and an ectopic (January 2025) since the beginning of our journey so I’m always super anxious each month and also don’t let myself get too excited about a positive pregnancy test. Currently waiting on my referral for the recurrent loss clinic, but holding onto hope that I will have a successful pregnancy before that πŸ’• sending you all the most luck and hopefully we all have some good news to update on very soon! X

ttcnumerodos · 28/10/2025 19:15

Hi all, cycle 14ish of TTC #2, both age 41. Had an appointment with fertility clinic and waiting on hycosy next week. I have a feeling this might not be our month - DH is away with work most of the month, and we had an electrical fire this morning (all fine, so lucky) but out of the house and staying at my mum's for the next 2 weeks at least. I feel chances to dtd will be slim. Best of luck and baby dust to everyone! xx

ChaE05 · 28/10/2025 19:30

@LuckyDuck93such a long time for you πŸ˜” I had a fertility referral. What tests have you had done with the GP so far? Xx

ChaE05 · 28/10/2025 19:51

Hi@ttcnumerodosnot far behind you...cycle 12 for me. Good luck with the HyCoSy. I had mine last month. I found it absolutely fine. Was very nervous for it. Unfortunately didn't make me more fertile like it does for some. Unfortunately nothing more the NHS can offer me. Do you have a plan after HyCoSy? Xx

ChaE05 · 28/10/2025 19:53

Hi @Blondepeachwelcome! Sorry you're on this journey with us. Do you have any children or are you trying for your first? Have you had any tests so far xx

CatLady1994 · 28/10/2025 20:27

Hey guys, checking in! Think this is cycle 5 of trying for baby 2. I think I’m currently 2DPO, I seem to have ovulated early this month at CD12 (usually CD15/16), so keeping an eye on LH tests just in case I get a second peak. Really really keeping all fingers and toes crossed for my BFP this month. I mentioned on last month’s thread that I’m feeling a bit low this cycle because this is the longest I’ve ever been TTC without a positive test - DC1 was cycle 2 then my miscarriage last year was cycle 4. So feeling a bit like I’m in uncharted territory atm. Sending positive vibes to you all! X

Limmers14 · 28/10/2025 20:50

Hi everyone, joining this thread as I had my first frozen embryo transfer today! So I’m on Day 0 after a Day 5 transfer of a 5AA PGT-A embryo. Really, really hoping my uterus will do its thing and this will stick!

Husband and I have been TTC for 2.5 years, we’re both 34, unexplained infertility, started IVF in June

Good luck to everyone either approaching ovulation or in the TWW already

Limmers14 · 28/10/2025 20:54

@LuckyDuck93 NHS fertility referrals can take some time but if you have a GP who is advocating for you, it can go faster. Get your bloods done, your ultrasounds and get your partner to have a semen analysis. You can also do this privately if you want the results quicker.

As far as I know, most trusts require you to have been TTC for 2 years so you’re doing the right thing by getting tests now so if you need to, you already have them for an IVF referral.

Doodlestar · 29/10/2025 09:03

Hello! I'm on cycle 2 ttc no 2.

I'm CD9 here. Never managed to work out if/when I ovulated last month, so at least I didn't really have the TWW torment. I'm tracking bbt and using OPKs now as that worked well for me for first baby. Who knows whats going on in there πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Good luck to everyone this month!πŸ™βœ¨οΈπŸ’–

I'm glad yours went well but sorry you're at the end of the line with NHS. What are you thinking now? I'm not sure of plan for after, DH has sperm analysis in early Dec so after that will probably just keep trying until maybe March next year? We don't want to do and can't afford IVF so will draw a line as it's been really all consuming for me.

ChaE05 · 29/10/2025 15:20

@ttcnumerodosis this his first SA? My other half had one back in July, it was all normal, but he has a repeat next week. Fingers crossed it's okay again.
I have booked into a fertility clinic for end of next month. Just see what they say. NHS advice was to try for a couple more months but to look into IVF. It's a mentally exhausting journey isn't it. Did you have any issues concieving your first? X

ttcnumerodos · 29/10/2025 15:23

Yep, his first. We conceived DS first month. But we were both 32 then so conscious of our ages then. I think I'm more the issue, I've got a really short luteal phase, can sometimes be 8 days. I need to chase up my blood tests actually as was hoping they'd show low progesterone, if that's even possible? What about you, do you have other DC or is this No1? xx

Taysonic · 29/10/2025 16:14

Hi all. I've been floating around these boards since January. Sadly miscarried in March, and then had a suspected ectopic in July. Due to the ectopic treatment, I had to take a break from TTC for three months (which to be honest, was a good thing mentally as well, it was difficult to deal with and I think having a little break was good for us to process that) and am now on CD11 of the first cycle I've been able TTC again.

For those who don't know me, I'm TTC #2 for me, #1 for my partner. I'm 36, he's 28.

As I'd had two losses this year, our NHS trust does some initial fertility blood tests. Thankfully, these all came back clear, except for a positive test for thyroid antibodies. Apparently, this isn't necessarily a problem right now but could indicate a higher risk of auto-immune issues in the future?! Anyway, was given the green light to TTC again and keeping all fingers crossed it's third time lucky.

Feeling nervous. Feeling a whole lot of anxiety and I feel like a bit of an idiot for putting ourselves at risk of such heartbreak again... but... hoping this next time will have a happy ending for us.

Lovely to see some familiar names @Iris2024 @LuckyDuck93 and hope to be a bit more active in these threads again now that I'm officially back on the horse.

As I said, CD11 today. Not expecting ovulation to happen until probably around CD16. Have been OPKing to try and catch it but my peaks are usually quite quick.

underthethree · 29/10/2025 19:35

Hi all! My period isn’t due for another 2 days but I have strong cramping, so I think it might start any day now.

wishing everyone luck this November ❀️

Oh that is a lot to have dealt with this year, I'm sorry for your losses. Fingers crossed for this month for you.

Do you have any tips re OPKs? Do you do it twice a day? I was using them last month but never caught a peak. The last few days I've hardly had a 2nd line at all it's been so faint; I'm sure I had some darker ones last month. Using clear blues so I havent got photos to remember though.

Hi @Blondepeachwelcome! Sorry you're on this journey with us. Do you have any children or are you trying for your first? Have you had any tests so far xx

Hey ☺️ Nope no other children, I’m 30 and my other other and I had said we would start trying around my 29th birthday, here we are over a year later! I’ve not had any proper fertility testing done yet. I have however had a very in depth hormone investigation with a endocrinologist at the start of the year, so my hormones/day 7 progesterone were tested - plus pretty much every other blood test I could have had (I had got this done through my work private healthcare as was experiencing fatigue/heart palpitations/short periods. Just waiting for the recurrent loss referral to come through and will take it from there. I have been prescribed progesterone β€˜just in case’ by a gynaecologist as he said there is no harm in supplementing when I next get a positive test, I’m also taking baby aspirin (from 3dpo) as he also advised trying that, in relation to my chemicals x

LookForTheLiight · 29/10/2025 22:25

Period started this evening so now on cd1. At least I can start again.

im going to do OPKs this month, any recommendations of brands?

@Taysonic I remember your username from the posts I saw earlier in my journey, sending love as you’ve been through so much.

For OPK'ing, I use the PreMom app with the easy@home strips. When I remember (!!!), I try and do a test with second morning urine (usually around 11am-ish) starting around CD8/9. And then try to test a second time in the afternoon around 4pm - 5pm kind of time. I then take photos of the tests to load them into the PreMom app which analyses the strength of the line and will give you an 'automatic' ovulation 'score'. You have to take that score with a pinch of salt, but it does mean you can easily look over the strips in one place and see the variations in strength for yourself.

My peaks tend to happen quite quickly - so when I do see the line start to darken, I may even up the testing to 3 times a day, with an early evening test too. I'm sure I've read somewhere that testing first thing isn't particularly useful as when the surge happens, it can take 4 hours for it to be detected in urine, so if you're only ever testing first thing in the morning, you may be missing it.

Mainly, I've learned that I tend to ovulate around CD16, so have had success with the SMEP (Sperm Meet Egg Plan) method of DTD every other day in the run up to ovulation, and then three days in a row if I can CD15-CD16-CD17.

I find the easy@home tests paired with the PreMom app to be fairly economical and good at offering some analysis/tracking functionality. It doesn't give you the 'static/flashing' smiley indicators that clear blue tests give but they're a hell of a lot cheaper.

apt72 · 30/10/2025 13:34

Looks like I can join in on this thread! TTC number 2, 2nd cycle but my first cycle was a whirlwind as my period came 10 days and I was far too obsessive with testing (sorry bank balance).

First baby was a surprise and we’ll have a 6 year + age gap now, which wasn’t part of the plan but here we are.

I’ve ordered all the vitamins this time and the ovulation sticks to learn more about my body.

I’ll follow this thread, read your stories and tips and hope for the best 🀞🏼
