Im currently CD9 of a new cycle after my early chemical miscarriage and my hycosy procedure.

Welcome! I will also (hopefully!) have an age gap between children as my son is currently 9yo. Wasn't initially how I imagined my parenting journey would go.. but... we are where we are!

As obsessive as I sometimes feel I get over trying to get pregnant and over-analysing every little thing, I do find the science behind it and getting to know my body and my hormones better as a real positive. If all that knowledge helps us in the quest for our #2, then... all the better.

Ughh girls I feel things are against us every month! I’ve spent the last two nights sleeping on my child’s floor cause she’s been unsettled, done a test and big smiling face! Are we too late???? 😭

Does anyone have any experience with the clear blue ovulation tests? My ovulation “peak” seems to be less than12 hours I’ve been testing morning and evening, yesterday morning negative, evening was positive and then this morning negative?? It’s supposed to “detect “ 4 most fertile days but hasn’t been for me since we started, so I’m just curious am I wasting my money on these tests or is it me that is the problem? Think we’ve missed the window again this month which is so frustrating!

I use these and have always found them to be good (although my box just says 'find your most 2 fertile days), I personally stop testing once Ive had a smiley and just DTD that day, and the following 2. Ive got pregnant x3 times using that method, even if they have ended in chemicals/ectopic. So do atleast feel I trust them!

They say once you get the smiley face to stop testing so it may just be you've confused it by continuing to test! I've used the advanced ones for years (with the flashing smiley face that then goes static for peak) and they've worked really well.

@Blondepeach @Moosey898 thanks for your replies! It seems strange as I haven’t been getting the flash face at all goes from negative to static within the 12 hour window! I only checked after to kind of check for myself if I stayed as peak for awhile if that makes sense! So hard not to get caught up obsessing..

From what little I know about LH peaks, some people's can be quite rapid rises. I'd take the positives that you ARE getting the peak notification. Ovulation usually happens 12-48hours after the peak, so getting the peak notification and not being able to DTD beforehand doesn't mean you're out.

Just checking you definitely have the one that goes flashing first? They also have a version which just goes to static 😸

@Taysonic ohhh ok, I feel so silly I thought that the peak happened already when you get the positive! That makes more sense thank you! ☺️

No worries - I know mine with the flashing one is 6 days so wanted to check x

could someone please give me some advice on my chart. FF is saying I ovulated on day 18 but I don’t see from the chart why this is? I think it’s more likely I ovulated on day 15? I know I’m awaiting AF as I’ve been away and have barely DTD but i still want to understand when my best chances are for next month. TIA xx

You get a dip and rise around ovulation which aligns with 18dpo on your chart.

Yeah I saw that but it doesn’t match to any of my tests or any of my other cervical symptoms. I just find it so confusing 🫣😩

Have you used ovulation tests before? Might be worth giving them a go if you're not successful this month to see what matches up most.

Morning ladies! 9dpo today, just took a ‘easy at home’ cheapie and bfn. I’m only testing this early as my gynaecologist said to take progesterone as soon as I next find out I’m pregnant, the earlier the better. I know it’s still early and I need to chill out, but I hate this part of the cycle 😫 I end up dreaming each night about a positive 😂 attaching my bbt chart too if anybody’s interested haha

Yes I use them every month. I added the info to my chart - I got peak on CD14, high on CD15 and then it went back down to Low after that.

I've never got on with BBT so I would go by your ovulation tests, but I know others swear by BBT!

It worked well for me when TTC DS1. But now my sleep is more broken and I’m usually woken up with a small person jumping on my head so maybe the change in circumstances has affected my BBT more than I realised. Thank you x

I think I’m going to join in this month!

TTC number 3… I’ve been trying for about a year, on and off - miscarried this time last year, gave my body a chance to recover, miscarried again in May and had a chemical in June, gave body a chance to recover, back in the game again now! I think I’m on about 10/11dpo ish. Vvvvvvvvv faint positive this morning, which tells me either that it’s a faint positive or that it’s an ident… 🫠 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Blondepeach Yes - I tested this morning and definitely bfn, so maybe yesterday was just a weird test. I’d normally have got a bfp by now if I was going to… 🤞 for you in the next few days!

Well, CD16 and LH tests are lower than low. No surge yet after my chemicals. Hurry the F up! I want to see a peak! I’ve lost so much time since September with it all! 🥹

@LookForTheLiight i started taking COQ10 (600 a day) and omega 3 and got my positive (sadly didn’t progress) I’m 42.
