TTC November

Hi everyone! Just starting up a thread for those of us who will be TTC/in our 2 week wait coming into November. Hope everyone is doing well!

@Veryxonfused I get pains every month and it switches sides so I’m sure it’s ovulation. But I’m not sure exactly what days it hurts. I think I might have a cyst or something because it sometimes hurts over a few days and sometimes for just a few very sharp minutes on one day. Sorry that’s not much help 😔

I’m shocked, I did a test (less sensitive brand) yesterday and it was stark negative. Getting a digital now. I’m either 9 or 10dpo I think

@HansBanansah thank you I didn’t even consider this - it would perhaps make sense because I am possibly the worst person in the universe for hydrating 😂 so usually by the evening I’ve depleted my liquid stores! But then I have a huge glass of water before bed with my vitamins etc so maybe it’s that. Fingers crossed! I’ll maybe take a few more tonight x

Update, I’m definitely pregnant! This was our first month trying for baby no2 so feels too good to be true. Especially as I got pregnant first month with baby1 and had a miscarriage, then it took a few months conceive again. Trying not to get my hopes up, whilst also being grateful/excited somehow at the same time haha. I’ve also not been taking any vitamins, because they make me feel sick. So I need to get on that (and probably get different vitamins)

@Veryxonfused well that’s definitely pregnant! Congratulations!! I have a friend who got pregnant both times first time of trying 🙄😅

I’m so sorry for your miscarriage, it’s so hard because I find it makes you worry and not just feel excited when you get a positive next time. Fingers crossed for you that this all stays in place and grows healthily

I know exactly how you feel. Only got a positive test yesterday and already got an appointment booked in to check this ones not ectopic like my first pregnancy which takes the edge off the excitement a fair bit. Trying not to get carried away but I admit I’ve already gone on Pinterest for tips on turning a box room into a nursery! It’s a strange feeling.

@apples2022 I can see what you’re seeing, but I wouldn’t like to say it’s positive. It could be, there’s definitely a line! But, I think it’s stronger at the bottom than the top and it doesn’t look evenly coloured. That could be for a few reasons, could be pregnant, could be a faulty test or an evap 🥺 Can you test again tomorrow? How many dpo are you? It’s so so hard when it’s like this 😓 Think positive pregnant thoughts 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

I agree it’s best to be cautious. I also took a wondflo which was stark negative so I don’t want to get my hopes up. I’d also expect it to be darker, I’m either 8 or 10 dpo.

i can see it’s caught the dye at the bottom but not the top. Does that even mean anything?!

Also, my LH rose but my temp dipped slightly. I’ve been taking pdg tests every couple of days and they’re all positive which is good.

Hahaha feel like I found my people! I’m 10DPO so let’s pray for darker lines over the coming days!

Zero line progression from yesterday to this morning 🥲 not feeling good about this

There’s definitely progression with yours! I was looking at my old test photos from last successful pregnancy and there was no line progression for a few days about 9-11dpo with a certain brand (I took a lot of tests haha)
So I shouldn’t think too much into it, but I will

Test every 48 hours instead maybe? Gives time for the HCG to double and you should see some good line progression 🤞🏻

I’m 4DPO today according to my period tracker app however I think I maybe ovulated 1/2 days earlier than this because I felt some distinct ovulation pain and have been tracking cm. Currently have the usual PMS symptoms although they’ve started a little bit earlier than they usually would (sore boobs, emotional), not usual for me o have been experiencing some light cramping. Usually I get cramps the day before my period is due and then the worst cramps ever on day 1/2 of my period so fingers crossed this actually points towards early pregnancy instead! Think I will test from Monday onwards as I’ll be 10DPO (or 11/12DPO according to my calculations)

@Veryxonfused haha thank you, I took some more today and I don’t think there’s an awful lot of change but like you said you tend to see more over 48 hours then 24 x

Hi, everyone! Hope all is well.

Thought I would join in as I'm a big mumsnet lurker. I'm TTC first baby at (recently turned) 37. I'm pretty sure I just had a chemical on cycle #2 of trying which I'm feeling down about. Couldn't believe I was actually holding positive tests, especially so soon, as I always had concerns if I was even fertile

I think I'm going to take a break from tracking so obsessively and just try to DTD when we are up for it. My brain feels like mush from it all. I tick a few high risk boxes, so let's see where the adventure leads to...really trying to keep positive, but struggling a bit. 🤞

How is everyone doing? Hope those with positives are getting some line progression now!
Currently on CD18 and finally seeing some progress on my LH tests so think ovulation will be next few days (not quite at peak yet) and typically hubby has now got the flu and is definitely not going to be up for trying! So that’s us out this cycle… at least I know that I am ovulating as I was giving up hope for my LH to ever rise!

This was our first month ttc and we were travelling so unfortunately both ovulation day and day before we didn’t try. But did the week before daily and a good few days after.

I have actually had two accidental pregnancies before many many years ago which I think has given DH the idea I will fall pregnant immediately. However, not feeling it at all. Have none of the early symptoms I see everyone taking about whatsoever. Period is due Monday and fully expecting it, I know it’s the first month but I just can’t help but feel disappointed!
