Hi everyone! Just starting up a thread for those of us who will be TTC/in our 2 week wait coming into November. Hope everyone is doing well!

@TTCjourney2025from this I would have said CD13 was ovulation.

@HansBanans im going to test shortly i am 11dpo now and feeling so hopeful I cant not 🙌 il of course share my test x

I thought this could be it but my temperature hasn’t spiked and it’s CD18 now!

I've had a stressful couple of days. Thought I'd test yesterday just to check it was negative so we could start trying again, but I tested clearly positive on multiple tests. Rang the Dr and they said I had to go to a&e because of the heavy bleeding, as they don't do direct referrals to the emergency pregnancy unit. Spent about 6 hours there yesterday, had a scan and they couldn't find anything so called it a "pregnancy of unknown location", and said they couldn't rule out ectopic which might require an operation. Had a blood test, then need to go back for a repeat blood test on Saturday to check HCG has gone down. All been a bit scary. Never thought I'd say it but fingers crossed it was a miscarriage (I don't think it could just be a small early pregnancy because I'm pretty sure of my dates, very regular cycle). So I think we might actually sit November out and wait for my next period.

Tested again..around 11dpo and as you can see a clear negative! 😞 feel like thats me out for this month unfortunately 😪

@Orangeroses243 sorry about your bfn 😢 how long is your luteal phase usually? There could still be time 🤞🏻

Took another test this morning at 9dpo. Keeping everything crossed that this is it

10dpo for me and a stark negative. I've always been positive before at this stage so assume I'm out. Disappointed but it's not a surprise as it's only month 1 trying again and I don't tend to conceive immediately.

I have read somewhere to use the 10ml pregnancy tests mine was a 25ml would this make a difference??
Not sure even what it means I guess trying to clutch at straws 🤷🏽

@Moosey898 same as myself. I said i hope by 3 months but soon as we started tying i feel like eager to be straight away ! Think i need to relax.

@Orangeroses243 yeah it would, the 25 wouldn’t show for approx 2 days after the 10 I don’t think. Can you try a 10?

@GreyhoundGal1 I'm so sorry. That sounds identical to my last pregnancy - I was terrified but it turned out ok. My hcg never dropped so I ended with the injection but I never needed surgery, I didn't have terrible side effects. Next pregnancy you'll need much earlier monitoring after an PUL/ectopic, which I found reassuring. I hope yours turns out to be a normal miscarriage but an ectopic (while devastating obviously) isn't necessarily as scary as it's portrayed

@HansBanans I think am being over hopeful thinking "oh I did a 25 and it was on the evening 11dpo before af so maybe it didnt detect 😅😅"
I haven't got a 10 I have a rapid and a digital clear blue left in the drawer. both are 25 il have to go to the shop to stock up for next month I think. Il wait til AF which should be sunday. Cycles around 28/29 normally.
That would be 1 month since coming off the Pill. So if not pregnant Im really hoping its bang on 🙌🤞

Sorry to hear this.

My first pregnancy was ectopic requiring surgery but that was visible on internal scans at just 5 weeks 3 days. Sorry it’s been such a hard process for you to get answers.

According to my app and based off the 24/25 day cycles I’ve been having since April my period is due today.

This was the first month tracking ovulation with the smiley faces and I didn’t get a smiley until CD13 so I’m only around 12DPO today. Either my luteal phase isn’t a full 14 days, which might explain why we haven’t conceived yet, or it’s a longer cycle this month. Confusing.

Got a lot of the usual PMS symptoms as well so not holding out much hope. Think I’ll test tomorrow morning if nothing happens today just so I get an answer as the wait is dragging.

Thanks everyone for your replies and the reassurance, I feel better now. I feel like they scare you because it could be really serious, but most likely isn't they just need to tell you worst case. Will know more tomorrow! I don't have any pain, and the home tests are getting lighter so I think HCG is dropping. Must have just caught it at a weird post miscarriage peak.

Sorry everyone for the bfn but 10/11dpo is still quite early I think for normal tests so it's not definitely out yet. I think I only showed on a first response with my first pregnancy at that stage.
