Hi I’m sorry if this the wrong thread to post in, I’m just a bit lost;

so basically we are wanting to start trying for baby 2 but I’ve just had no period at all since coming off the pill in September. I’m just wondering if anyone here had similar and how long it took to finally arrive? I can’t track properly until it happens 😊 TIA x and good luck all x

edited to add with DS I didn’t have to wait as I still had a monthly period on the same pill but since having him 20 months ago I haven’t really had 1 just the odd spotting x

I think I’m around the same stage of the 2 week wait as you but I’m too nervous to test. Do you have any symptoms would you say? I don’t feel any different to usual and not sure if that means I’m out.

I’m not sure what the general rule of thumb is but, I stopped the pill (pop) on the 31st of July and my first period came 12th of September so pretty much 6 weeks to the day after I stopped. I hope that helps you in any way !

I would say this is the month where I've had no symptoms or indication I was pregnant so I was surprised to get the positive. In previous months where I've noted things like bloating etc and thought I could be pregnant I never was!

@summertime94 ive had sharp pains left and right this morning and now feel like AF going to spring upon me any moment so going to wait for anymore testing. . Cant help but think im out this month. Which is ok, I was just very excited but if AF does show then il look at it positively as in I can track better to the exact day as its been hard to do that after stopping pill and missed pill a week prior.

When I was pregnant with my girl I didnt have any symptoms or even suspect i was pregnant. So its interesting you have been the same this time.

Caved and did a test early using the clear blue early detection, it was negative so just waiting for my period to arrive now:/ trying to not feel disappointed as its only month one

Sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to not get disappointed, but as you say it's only month one and there's only a 20-25% chance of it happening each time. If it's not this month, fingers crossed for next time for you x

@ijustwantcake sorry to hear this! How many DPO are you? Is AF due today?

Its month 1 for me too and I felt like this the other day when I tested. It was 9dpo so I am hoping I still have a chance. I am trying to stay positive as you said its the 1st month.

I was on these groups earlier in the year but took some months off to be chilled about TTC - obviously that didn't work so thought I'd rejoin! It's month 3 after an ectopic but it'll 1 year since starting if this month doesn't work so I'm feeling the pressure. We were "supposed" to have a baby by Christmas so I know I'll be devastated if I'm not even slightly pregnant.

Hi all!
second month TTC - last month I got my LH surge on CD18 and it’s currently CD18 and no sign of it coming… thought I was ovulating early due to the increased levels around CD13 but temp didn’t increase! Am I being impatient? I worry because my cycles are typically 28-29 days.

I think I’m 8dpo, just got home and took a test and after five mins it looks like this. Last peed about 2.5 hours ago. Do we think this is finally it? 🤞🏻

@HansBanans well... I see a very faint line! Early testing at 8dpo so going to be very very faint-- which it is 😁
Keep testing everyday and let us know how you get on 🙌
