@MamaGeordie don’t be too disheartened just yet. Implantation can be as late as 12dpo and if you’re only 10dpo then there’s still time

BFN again at 13dpo so I think I’m out this cycle unfortunately. AF due tomorrow/the day after

Those of you who drink beetroot juice in the tww, how much should we drink? Can't say I'm a fan of the taste 😂

@Anya23 I’ve been eating beetroot rather than drinking the juice. I just have a few of the small ones every day

Agreed....it literally tastes like dirt lol, so I've been a bit bougie and made myself beetroot kimchi! Figured it ticks both boxes then, daily pro-biotic and beety goodness 😁

I grew them on my allotment this year so there's been an added bonus in being able to eat the beetroot greens too. Friggin' delicious stir fried in butter and garlic. I've eaten enough to make my poop purple for a couple of days, so figured I'm still getting the same goodness (if not more...) than by drinking it 😂

Yeah thats fair - I'd say it it's easy, but fermentation is my latest ADD hyperfixation, so I'm getting super into it 😂

I made standard kimchi too...it was my biggest craving for my last pregnancy, so my stupid mind is convinving me THATS what I need to get pregnant this cycle....the things we convince ourselves of eh!

Hey ladies, those that have had bloods done recently which day of cycle is best to have lh/fsh tested?

@fullofhope2024 I had my FSH done on day 3 of my cycle :) not sure my clinic did LH...isn't that just an OPK? Honestly had so much blood taken at this rate I don't even know any more!

@GoldDustWoman90 thanks so much. Yes it’s just the same as opk but in blood test form. I think they come together where I am.
everything else ok on day 21.

14dpo today and Clearblue was bfn again this morning but bbt has gone up 😕

@HansBanans did you also use opks this month or just temp? I have a feeling you may have ovulated later....

@HansBanans did you say you were ill? I agree with @Ec2808, your second rise on the 6th could be your actual ovulation day and the high temps before could have been because you were ill?

@Ec2808 @JupiterDaze I only temped. Yeah I was ill around the time it says I ovulated too and one of the temps is over 37 lol. Later ovulation would make sense because I still had watery cm after it said I ovulated which is unusual for me. Think we’ve missed the window then if that’s the case 😕 I’ll just have to wait it out. I’ve ordered the Clearblue digital opk’s for the next cycle 🤞🏻

@HansBanans do you know the last day you had watery cm? for me i usually ovulate on the last day of watery or stretchy cm...i don't think you're out tbh...i think you spaced it out well! if it doesn't work out the digital opks worked really well conceived on second month of using them 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Ec2808 I can’t say for sure but I feel like it probably was about 6dpo… I stopped actively tracking cm last cycle because I was getting so fed up 😂 hopefully with us dtd on 7dpo am we will have managed to catch it. Just need to wait it out and see 🫣

@HansBanans to me it looks like you ovulated on what you thought was 6-7 dpo so i say chances are pretty good 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Ec2808 I did a manual override in ff and it is saying chances are low 😕 will just need to ride it out and see what happens 🤞🏻 I definitely don’t feel like af is imminent so I think you’re right x

@Ec2808 I’m quite pleased with myself on the Clearblue digital opks, got a sealed box of 20 on vinted for half the rrp. Love a bargain 🤣

AF ended up coming on CD27 so out again this month and a very unusual long cycle for me. Hitting reset and considering CB digital tests...are they worth it? I've heard mixed things. I used IC tests TTC in my last pregnancy but find them difficult to read sometimes.
I'd never thought to try Vinted - what a bargain @HansBanans👏

Hi all,

In my 2WW and third cycle properly TTC our first (5th cycle sorta trying!). Got a static smiley from cb digital opk evening of CD15. NC reckons CD 19 for ovulation but other apps reckon either 17 or 18. Tricky to tell! BD regularly until CD17 but husband away CD17-20 so not sure if life got in the way this month!

Intense nausea today around 7DPO which I’ve never had at this point in a cycle before but I know that would be way too early really.

Currently CD25 of a 33 day cycle.

Ah I’m sorry, fingers crossed for next month.

I found the CB digital OPK worth it but didn’t realise lots about them:

• the digital reader gets more in tune with you after a couple of cycles of use (I think, and I’ve read it elsewhere)
• you really do have to start testing from the cd it recommends depending on your cycle length - I thought that was silly and a way of getting you to spend more money on refills but it’s because it’s detecting a surge (so the difference from your baseline - again, not a doctor but that’s my understanding). It didn’t work at all (I got negatives) for me when I tried to use it around day of ovulation a few months ago, abut worked well for me when I used it in the run up and across days of suspected ovulation.

cons:

• expense
• still hard to tell what day you actually ovulate on. Static smiley comes up when it picks up your surge and then stays on the reader for 48 hours. It says it means ovulation happens 24-48 hours from static smiley appearing which I took as a certainty but I think I was actually later than that this month, more like three days…
