This latest is darker- I hope it gives you some reassurance. I know how hard is to clasp for concrete answers following a chemical pregnancy. I had one last month.maybe now is the time to stop testing and enjoy preparing to tell your husband. What a wonderful birthday gift for him.

It’s so difficult- we are going back and forth on if we should get a scan because I don’t want to become obsessive with them and ultimately I think at this point it’s a little bit of just weighing the pig but also I’m so desperate for something tangible!

@GiveTheGoblinsSnacks I completely get it. I had so many scans when I was pregnant with DS. With him we were pregnant the first month we tried and I was convinced he wouldn’t stick as we hadn’t tried hard enough 🫣

I decided to just tell DP this morning so that we can support each other if it doesn’t work out. Wasn’t even a fancy way of telling him, just lead him to my dressing table and showed him my drawer full of pregnancy tests 😂 I feel like a weight has lifted off my shoulders

What a fab Sunday morning for him. My DD was completely unplanned and I was a a complete renegade to be honest and didn’t think too deeply about anything. This time we’ve been trying for 15 months so I’ve been over analysing everything!
I've just had to talk DH down about money- babies come exactly when they are intended to!

@HansBanans🤣🤣🤣 the struggle is real that’s currently our problem 🤣 DS is 9 so no car seat but Dd is 18 months so we need something that will fit 2 child seats and a 9year old in the back🤣🤣🤣

Hi guys, just a quick update from me - unfortunately it seems like I'm going through an Mc. Suspected yolk sac at 5+5, yolk sac 4x4 mm suspected fetal pole and possible heart activity at 6+4. They told me all is good and come back in three weeks to measure crl, but I started spotting yesterday..really light, same as a week ago, but this time it didn't stop, I still have occasional light brown spotting today. No heart activity on scan at exactly seven weeks, so they gave me progesterone for the spotting but the lady wasn't very hopeful... Especially since I know my ovulation date. Maybe I'll be back in a few months on a different ttc thread :)

I think I am now! I have to go back in a week, if no heavy bleeding by then.. I'm just upset that we're losing months because of this but oh well :( it wasn't meant to be this way.

Went for a beta hcg today and will get the results back later this week. They didn’t have any other appointments until the weekend so booked in for the second draw then, and will get results from that draw early next week. I’m not massively hopeful as not really having any symptoms, although I’m only 5 weeks tomorrow I think. I just remember having so many more clear symptoms with my son, but can’t remember when they kicked in! Still getting strong positive tests but I’ve run out now and won’t be restocking. Will update once I know more!

For me the strong nausea kicked in around week 6 with both pregnancies. Had the bloating and fatigue before that, but no pregnancies are the same! Any reason for the hcg test?

@HansBananskeeping everything crossed for you i’m sure all is fine 🫶🏻 my symptoms kicked in very late also this time round so every pregnancy is different…keep us updated on your result…i’m going for my 3d scan tomorrow hope all is good has been ages since my last appointment…

@Anya23 just for a tiny bit of reassurance more than anything I think. I’ve had a look back at Ovia from my last pregnancy and I didn’t mark morning sickness/nausea until I was 5+4 but can’t remember if I’d actually been sick or just felt sick x

@Ec2808 yeah was talking to one of my friends and her nausea didn’t kick in until much later with her second pregnancy as well. Hope all goes well! How far along are you now? x

@HansBanansshould be 14 weeks will see tomorrow for confirmation 🤞🏻 will say tho once it kicked in it was the worst nausea ever so enjoy it while you can 🤣🤣

Test results are in already, 5253.0 iu/L! ChatGPT says doubling time slows down after 5,000 so need to try not freak out when I get the weekend results back next week 😅
