Tentatively joining following a MMC earlier this month

🙏 hormones will be back at normal levels to start TTC again in October

Muddysocks1 · 24/09/2025 08:28

Hello 👋🏻 love the title Iris!

shall we do mini intros - it’s nice to see familiar faces (although obv hope no one is here very long!)

I’m TTC no1, just at the end of my 18th cycle TTC, have had two chemicals, and on first month of letrozole with fertility clinic. Desperate to be pregnant by Christmas 🎄

AF is due on Sunday, however my progesterone isn’t good enough this month and I had a weird evap/positive followed by negative so I’m not hopeful for this cycle

overwork · 24/09/2025 09:24

Oh hello old friends. We’re working on no.2, no.1 was an accident in my late 30’s, so this trying malarkey is an unwanted new experience! We’re going to give it a really good go until Christmas, but if it’s not happened by then we’re going to enjoy the amazing little one we already have (age related, my time is running out!).

overwork · 24/09/2025 09:25

Gosh just realised how that reads. My fertile time is running out, but I sincerely hope I have many more years left in me yet! Grin

Marvelftw · 24/09/2025 10:37

Hello everyone, tentatively dropping in just to say hi. AF hasn’t started yet but tested negative two days ago and feel cramps that tell me it’s going to be coming soon. This will make cycle #4 for me, TTC my first after a loss at 12 weeks earlier in the year. This cycle is also going to be taking my into my 36 birthday (can’t believe it’s almost been a year since I started this journey!) Probably won’t be posting much as I think being online makes me get a lot more obsessed with the process - last time I took a social media detox I conceived so crossing fingers, but just wanted to wish you all good luck for this month!

AMBM6040 · 24/09/2025 14:54

Hi everyone 👋🏼joining from the September thread but af is due 30th sept, I have 2 adult children but a new partner who doesn’t have any so trying for 1 together, my age is against me being 41 but still have some hope, been trying for a year now and will be having our first fertility appointments in October, this thread keeps me sane 😊hopefully to see us all getting those bfp’s this month

ttcnumerodos · 24/09/2025 15:20

Hi everyone, just hopping over from the September thread as I've just had some spotting and everything is pointing towards AF being here. We've been ttc #2 for over a year, with 1 chemical/miscarriage in that time. Had an appointment with the infertility clinic last month and due to get bloods taken this period, and waiting on a hycosy. I'm also 41 so time is against me. We've also tentatively decided to call time on our attempts by the end of this year if no luck. We are lucky to have a brilliant 7yo son.

7nationbaby · 24/09/2025 18:27

Hello 👋 I’m ttc #3, thought I was done with 2 but apparently not. had one mc last month, so this is cycle 7 for me. Currently 3dpo so will be testing 1st Oct. Although the poas urge is strong already 😂

ChaE05 · 24/09/2025 21:44

Hey everyone..jumping over from Sept thread! Have been a little quiet as alot going on at home and just took a step back from the forums.
I'm 38, one child, nearly 2. On 11th month of ttc our second, currently ovulating. Had a miscarriage and chemical at the beginning of the year. Under the fertility clinic with NHS now and had a HyCoSy last week x baby dust to all x

Muddysocks1 · 25/09/2025 06:44

Posted on sep thread but will post here too!
had a BFN this morning 11dpo. Still a slight chance but less likely now!

lozzzzzzza20 · 25/09/2025 06:59

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster. TTC our 2nd following a MMC in October last year. Both previous pregnancys happened in first months trying so not sure why it doesn't seem to be happening again for us.
Contacted doctor last month so getting some blood tests before being referred to NHS fertility clinic.
This morning we are trying to DTD every 2-3 days for the entire month and not just fertile window! Just turned 37 so starting to worry
Good luck to us all xx

Iris2024 · 25/09/2025 07:11

Hi all, Already have a 6 year old daughter.

Cycle 6 we caught pregnant, Lines from 23rd August to 1st September I bled and lost. Last night had a faint line on cycle 7 but this morning it’s still a shadow so looking like this is failed too. I’m parking myself here as looks like we will be moving to cycle 8 in October. Myself and partner are 42. His sperm results all come back way above average and I’m obviously ovulating.

@Iris2024sorry to hear you will be going the October thread biut happy to have you join us for another month! I hope this will be the month for you
@lozzzzzzza20we are having our first fertility appointment next month, I so hoped to be able to conceive naturally but it doesn’t seem to happening, I’m nervous at taking the fertility route but just want one last ditch attempt before we call it a day

givingitanothergo · 25/09/2025 07:52

Hi all!
Ttc our 3rd. We have an almost 3 year old that took almost 10 years to conceive and a 8month old that was thankfully a bit shorter journey! Our second baby was going to be our last baby but it’s only made us want another baby and because of our age and preferences we don’t have long to wait around and try.

This was meant to be our second proper cycle trying but husband was away the day before peak and I got my peak yesterday and he was too tired apparently 🙄😂 we had dtd 2 days before peak, not sure it’s that’s good enough so I guess we will see. I’ll try not to test early this time as I feel like it’s unlikely our efforts were the right time anyway. Already feel like I’ve got to wait til the next cycle to try now.
All just a waste of time sometimes isn’t it!!

MintRobin · 25/09/2025 09:10

Hello,
Also TTC #3, trying to keep expectations low but it's hard. So helpful to hear everyone's journey - been a longtime lurker!

Muddysocks1 · 25/09/2025 12:03

I’ve had some slight cramping today that felt a bit like when I had with my bfp earlier this year. Most likely start of AF (although that’s not due for 3 days, I usually get a tiny bit of spotting before and not cramps until the day or). It’s really hard not to cling onto signs of hope?
I’m glad I’ve got a busy day at work today and haven’t been able to think about it as much, or obsess over looking at test lines!

ttcnumerodos · 25/09/2025 12:13

Af arrived for me this morning so firmly plonking myself here. On the plus side, I'm now booked in for bloods with the infertility clinic so will see what those results bring. I know I definitely have a shorter luteal phase so been googling how to lengthen that. Might invest in some vitex, does anyone have any recommendations, for that or anything else? x

EmPeEf · 25/09/2025 14:43

Tested with a clear blue with weeks today and only got a 1-2. Considering my HCG was 124 on Wednesday and apparently the threshold for 2-3 is 153, I’m feeing really worried.I’m 4+2 from LMP and 17dpo.

CarpeDiem75 · 25/09/2025 15:09

@Iris2024I am on the same boat as you 6yo son and I am 42 been trying for pretty much 5yr! 6 miscarriages later I am still trying… this is call perseverance 🤣 No IVF but I have been started on an immune protocol so this is my last chance! Good luck to everybody!

LuckyDuck93 · 25/09/2025 15:12

Hey everyone, joining for another month, although AF not due until next week, but just one of those months where I feel like its not "the one"
TTC our 1st for 14 months, just started fertility testing through our GP so hoping to get some answers soon, totally baffled that my school teachers made me think if I had sex i'd get pregnant just like that 😂

SilverLining87 · 25/09/2025 23:11

Hello Everyone

Im new here. Been following for a few days though. A little background about me.

Ive got a 6yo Son.
I miscarried the pregnancy before him on my first cycle of TTC.
Pretty certain it was a blighted ovum but it took the hospital 13 weeks to decide and do anything to help me.

Im now TTC my 2nd on Cycle 3 and have so far had 2 early miscarriages before 5 weeks (chemicals).

Im 38 now. Partner is 44 and worrying I've left it too late.
I have fallen pregnant every month i have tried to concieve (very lucky) but im really worried that my body has a problem keeping hold of them.

I am currently 6dpo on Cycle 3 and trying really hard not to notice all the same symptoms I've had before.

I look forward to seeing some BFP's from you all and wish you all the best ❤️

FunnySam · 26/09/2025 00:50

👋 Back again, meant to ovulate on 30th, so 1st October will be day 1 of TWW (again)
We will DTD every day for the next week, around work lol

I’m sorry to hear about your losses! Have you had any testing? We’ve also got a recurrent chemical pregnancies thread going that a few of us are on x

PeonyPatch · 26/09/2025 07:44

Hello, I’d like to join. I’m currently in the process of getting all of my tests done (ultrasound, bloods, swabs) and my partner getting semen analysis ready for a referral to fertility specialist via NHS. I’m really hoping the referral process does not take long.

I have been reading about IUI vs IVF.

I am very jealous of people who have been able to conceive naturally.

Muddysocks1 · 26/09/2025 08:00

12DPO BFN for me so that’s that. Time to be grumpy for a couple of days 🤪 then move onto the next cycle
