Hello, I’d like to join. I’m currently in the process of getting all of my tests done (ultrasound, bloods, swabs) and my partner getting semen analysis ready for a referral to fertility specialist via NHS. I’m really hoping the referral process does not take long.

I have been reading about IUI vs IVF.

I am very jealous of people who have been able to conceive naturally.

I know this depends on area but ours was much quicker than I expected!

GP made referral start of June and was given first fertility clinic appt start of August (although it was cancelled and moved back 2 weeks which was annoying but still not very long). I know other areas are even quicker but some are longer

That sounds totally reasonable and normal! It’s all so difficult and feels like jumping through hoops all the time - I can’t imagine what it’s like for it to happen more easily. Got to just keep things moving forwards (or that’s how I try to look at it anyway!) x

7nationbaby · 26/09/2025 18:24

Ladies please talk me down off this stupid cliff edge, I’ve done 2 hpts today, at 5 dpo, fully in the knowledge that they are still vfls from my mc last month and yet STILL hopelessly convinced that it will be slightly less faint and I’ll have snagged myself an early (but, of course, entirely reliable) bfp. Just….amazed myself at my own lack of self control.

ChaE05 · 26/09/2025 18:55

Hi lovely, line just faint and staying the same. So weird. I’m wondering if it’s leftover HCG as my head can’t get around it being a new implantation so soon. My chemical last month progressed. I feel okay this time around as so soon to the other but also my head didn’t believe I’m pregnant as so faint. Can’t wait to bleed and really start again after miscarriage last month. At least I know now after trying for ages that we can implant and get pregnant. Just can’t get my head around it at all. How are you doing hun?

Hello Everyone

Im new here. Been following for a few days though. A little background about me.

Ive got a 6yo Son.
I miscarried the pregnancy before him on my first cycle of TTC.
Pretty certain it was a blighted ovum but it took the hospital 13 weeks to decide and do anything to help me.

Im now TTC my 2nd on Cycle 3 and have so far had 2 early miscarriages before 5 weeks (chemicals).

Im 38 now. Partner is 44 and worrying I've left it too late.
I have fallen pregnant every month i have tried to concieve (very lucky) but im really worried that my body has a problem keeping hold of them.

I am currently 6dpo on Cycle 3 and trying really hard not to notice all the same symptoms I've had before.

I look forward to seeing some BFP's from you all and wish you all the best ❤️

Welcome hun, I’m a similar age, just turned 42. We have a 6 year old and we caught first cycle. Cycle 6 we caught pregnant and lines progressed then light and bled at 4 weeks 3 days. Just caught again next cycle straight after (cycle 7) so implanted (I think) but lines staying the same. I feel so so close, closer than ever but yet so far! I’m so sorry to hear of your journey too and hope you get your BFP 🤍✨

It’s so hard not to see a flicker of promise in everything. I’m so nauseous as I lose this chemical but I’m still like “oh maybe”.
sending lots of love!

GiveTheGoblinsSnacks · 27/09/2025 11:49

34 here TTC number 2- DD is 7 this month so quite a gap. Cycle 14- currently emerging from a chemical. Husband has a SA coming up. We are working biweekly with a fertility expert!
This is our second chemical this year and the one really impacted my cycle but hoping for a smoother return to normality this time.

Iris2024 · 27/09/2025 12:33

I’m so confused -

Chemical miscarriage 1st September bleeding

Negative digital CD5 and negative strip pregnancy test CD20 ( i was paranoid of a shadow but partner said no negative)

High and dark OPK tests since chemical.

I had a peak OPK test CD23, same evening faint shadow lines since on pregnancy tests so we didn’t DTD

My OPKs are now low (finally!) but what the hell are these faint shadow lines on pregnancy tests???? My head is a mess!!!

My theory is your body is trying its best to ovulate and get pregnant. You know how they say people fall pregnant quickly after a loss? I wasn’t sure that was a thing. But I did experience really different types of cycles after every loss, including not ovulating at all and ovulating much earlier.
I know that probably doesn’t help, but it does sound like your body is up for it and hopefully it’ll result in a strong positive at some point.

I’m wondering if it’s worth speaking to EPU, as it does seem unusual and positive pregnancy test although it’s faint does indicate some hcg, and although you tested negative in between have had quite high ongoing LH strips.

It’s definitely trying its best isn’t it, my hormones are all over the place it seems, got cramping today but no AF.

Somebody on here said they look like evaps so doubting myself but can you have evaps on easy at home and Wandflo everytime you test? I’m worrying a little that something is wrong as I’m not sure what my body is doing. I’ve got cramping tonight

I’ve definitely had Evaps on easy at home BUT my opinion is if you’re having a line that appears roughly in the time limit and is visible surely that’s hcg. Sometimes you get shadows where the colour would go but yours look more than that? I don’t really know what it could be but perhaps some repeat hcg blood tests would be helpful?

I think the best I can do is when I bleed make sure tests are stark white negative ready for the next cycle

That sounds a good plan. All so confusing isn’t it.

I’m 14dpo with no sign of period but definitely BFN tests. Think meds may be lengthening luteal phase which is good although weird as progesterone still low. Just want to get onto the next cycle now

Peanutbutthole · 28/09/2025 18:36

Hi all could I join pls? I am TTC my third, with a big age gap from my others. I am cd4 at the moment, and this is my third cycle.

My others were both conceived first cycle so the whole TTC thing is new to me, but I am older now so I guess I should expect it to take longer. I tracked my ovulation with lh strips for the first time last cycle.

My question is, I remember always having loads of ewcm around mid cycle when I wasn't trying. Now that I am, it seems in very short supply 😕 does anyone know how I can increase it this cycle? Thanks

AMBM6040 · 28/09/2025 20:10

I’m 11dpo today, I’ve felt exhausted and couldn’t keep my eyes open the last couple of days and my boobs have been killing me, took a test and it was obviously negative, I feel how all of you have described like it’s so exhausting every month having the same result, our first fertility appointment is in October and I was so hoping not to make it, nevermind here’s to another month 👏

SilverLining87 · 28/09/2025 21:01

@Muddysocks1 sorry its been a few days. A very busy weekend for us.
No I haven't seen anyone about fertility yet. This is actually our last cycle TTC for a couple of months. So if I do fall this month and have another chemical then I will see the Doc about some options.
Im guessing partners sperm is still OK as I've fallen twice.

@Iris2024 sorry to hear your feeling so confused. If your still getting faint lines with no progression on a HPT then I would definitely suggest a trip to EPU.

Im now 9dpo and im pretty certain im out this month though. BFN this morning (had a faint line with son by 9dpo)
Ive got none of the little niggly feelings in my uterus this time like I have with previous at this stage. No implantation bleed like previous ones.
And im feeling very moody 😂

DaisyKG · 29/09/2025 09:03

Morning all - jumping over from the September thread. Currently 2DPO on cycle #3. Going to try and hold out until AF is due if I can😂🤥

Looking forward to hopefully seeing some BFPs this month🤞🏼👏🏼🫶🏻

7nationbaby · 29/09/2025 10:17

Hello 👋 sorry to those getting the bfns. It’s so frustrating- I had a cycle a couple of months ago where my boobs were so sore I woke up and thought this must be it! Tested and nothing. Since having the mc last cycle I’ve been testing periodically and the lines were fading but now I’m not convinced. Are they in fact getting darker?!

LuckyDuck93 · 29/09/2025 10:37

morning ladies, hope you're all doing ok.
AF started today so onto cycle 15 ttc our 1st, throwing myself a little pity party today before I go into getting my hopes up again next month!

summertime94 · 29/09/2025 13:57

Hello, joining from previous threads. I'm TTC for number 1 and this is cycle 4. I recently got married and hoping this is the cycle after a previous chemical on my first cycle. I'm going to be starting my TWW tomorrow if anyone is at the same stage?
hoping to be more relaxed this time and less symptom spotting!
