@Qwerty93 I'm 8dpo today and no symptoms so far really. How about you?

I also don't really get any period symptoms so anything I had would be a clue for me

I’m 8dpo too!! Amazing.

erm, I did have symptoms but they’ve gone. I don’t have big boobs or increase in heart. They were my two killer symptoms with my first daughter!

do you have a increase in RHR at 8DPO?

EmeraldPie · 07/10/2025 11:10

LaurLou22 · 06/10/2025 21:33

Hey @EmeraldPie:) I’m a psychotherapist by occupation and can recommend a couple of good places for stress management tools.

GetSelfhelp - I recommend the pages on Stress self help, STOPP, all the modules on worry and sleep too :)

if you feel like you need some more direct support, you could refer to your local IAPT service (google your location plus IAPT and it should bring your local service up) and they can offer thongs such a stress management course, or even 1:1 support if you feel it would help!

Hi @LaurLou22 thank you so much for this advice. I have had a look at this website and the free resources available on there!

@Qwerty93 I haven't been tracking my heart rate really, I am taking bbt every morning but I keep waking really early like 3-4am sometimes so I don't think it's as accurate for me.

do you think you'll start testing soon? When's your AF due?

I think this one will be a 32 day’er. So not due on until next Monday… my cycles have been 28/32/28/32 etc ha.

summertime94 · 07/10/2025 15:17

@Qwerty93 ah similar to me! My last few cycles have been around 31 days, altho I've had spotting start a few days before in the previous 2 cycles too

I always spot before hand… literally since I started. It’s a good way to know AF is coming :)

StayingHopefulx · 08/10/2025 21:51

Didn’t buy any pregnancy tests this month because I convinced myself I was out… but now AF due in two days and the itch is setting in 🙃😂

I tested today on FRER at 9dpo. Surely I’m pretty much out now!

and if I’m not the stress will have made me 🤣🤣

StayingHopefulx · 08/10/2025 22:10

@Qwerty93 7dpo here! Still keeping everything crossed we’re not actually out and will get bfp’s! I’ve actually gone to scouring every bag and cupboard in hopes of finding some

summertime94 · 09/10/2025 02:04

@Qwerty939dpo is still early, there's still a chance! I'm 10dpo today think ill wait till Monday / Tuesday to test

Mash0917 · 09/10/2025 07:06

Hey beautiful ladies, so my bleeding from the miscarriage is finally gone and the blood rest shows negative hcg. I am probably being cheeky, but I don't want to wait. If I actually ovulate this cycle in about a week, ( I track with clearblue digital opk), I want to try. Anyone know if it'll be okay?

I don’t think you need to worry about waiting. Go for it!

ThisZippyViewer · 09/10/2025 18:19

@Mash0917 Hi ☺️ there’s no medical reason to wait and no evidence to show any increased risk to you or baby

only thing to be aware of if you get pregnant before an actual “period” is they will have difficulty dating the pregnancy at the start so as long as you are mentally able to deal with that then crack on

StayingHopefulx · 09/10/2025 18:24

Girls, I thought I saw the faintest of lines but the test checker is changing its minds, so coming here before I lose my marbles. Can anyone see anything? Looking at it again I can’t really

Taysonic · 13/10/2025 12:40

Hi all! Popping along to say hello - have been reading somewhat religiously but not posting as there really isn't much to say from my end. As a reminder, I had an ectopic pregnancy in July and was treated with methotrexate which has meant I'm unable to begin TTC again until after October. I'm heading towards my next period (due next week) and after that, it's go time again.

Have been having a bit of a wobble and going back and forth about whether I feel ready to start trying again. After two losses in the space of four months, it feels so difficult to open ourselves up to the risk of another loss and we definitely feel we need to protect ourselves, but I also don't think time is on my side. I'm turning 37 next month and it feels somehow a lot older than 36.

I'm telling myself that we probably won't actively prevent pregnancy in the next few months, and if it happens, it happens... but... I'm not sure given how much I think about TTC and how much I read these forums, that I'm really able to do a 'light touch' approach. We'll see...

EmeraldPie · 13/10/2025 13:29

TTC 1st time!
I'm currently 8DPO, but hardly any symptoms at all. (compared with other cycles where I have not conceived.
No tender breasts or nipples (REALLY unusual for me!)
Not much cervical mucus
No spotting/cramps

I've just had some constipation and fatigue but I'm pretty sure that could also be PMS.

BBT is still raised compared to pre-ovulation

Has anyone hardly had any symptoms and been pregnant?

Annoyingly, if you do experience any very-early pregnancy symptoms, they are often very similar if not the same as what can be PMS symptoms... and the variances between women is so huge that there's no real sure-fire way of knowing. Some women will say they knew something was different or not 'normal' for them, but... I read enough here to know that it's easy to say that when it turns out to be true, but for every one woman saying they knew they were pregnant because of x,y,z symptom, there are five others saying they've got a hope they're pregnant because of the same thing that turns out not to be pregnancy.

This two week window is REALLY tough. You'll be hyper aware of everything and reading into every twinge, tweak and feeling.

EmPeEf · 13/10/2025 14:53

Nice to hear from you @Taysonic How are you finding things on the methotrexate? It can be an awful old drug.

ttcnumerodos · 13/10/2025 21:22

Totally understandable @Taysonic. And I so get the not preventing/trying to be casual. When you've been TTC for a while I feel that's a very hard thing to do.

I'm now 1dpo and in the dreaded tww once again. Waiting on blood results from the fertility clinic and hopefully get something concrete and 'treatable'. Just turned 41 and said we'd give it until the end of this year. I don't feel ready to give up at all but it's so all consuming at times x

Iris2024 · 13/10/2025 22:25

Just popping on to check in…. I’m still in limbo since my chemical miscarriage on 1st September. Still no AF since and I'm on CD43. My cycles are usually 24-28 days. Feel really frustrated as I’ve not reset since and I feel I’m on hold from TTC and wasting precious time!
