Hopefully slim Cal. I hope none of you get it.

Have a glass for me Kooky.

Oh no Cals!! Putting my 'DR' head on (ok, it's in Sociology ) vomiting bugs will normally start within 48 hours, so touch wood, you should be in the clear.
OK, I still haven't got the hang of cut and pasting , but my details are:
Diege, 2ww, due to test Friday (but absolutely no chance of a BFP I'm sure )

KK - A belated congrats! had to scroll back to work out why you're on the bubbly, I missed it in my catch up.

I'm off to bed now but am working from home tomorrow so hoping to get an opportunity to sneak on.

DS has his MMR + something (hib?) tomorrow at 14.00 , I hate needles so hope he's feeling brave!

Tummy is getting really sore...I had cramps last month but they didn't start until CD22 and its CD20 today...need to go and loosen off my trousers and get some sleep me thinks.

I hate the 2ww. Much prefer CD6 to 18 when all you've got to look forward to is lots of GOFs .

Hi
I have been following your thread for quite a while. Have wanted to join for ages but I am quite shy!Im waiting to start ttc my first child. Finding it REALLY difficult to stay on the wagon though!
Would love to join this thread as you seem a great bunch, although you seem to have loads of people on here now!

Diege · 02/06/2008 22:16

Hi Gruffalo!! (love the name!). Welcome on board - forget your shyness, you will soon be sharing intimate details about CM and goffing .
Right, I am gone!

Hey Gruffalo, the more the merrier!!!

When do you plan to start ttc?

Report
GruffaloSoldier · 02/06/2008 22:22

Great thanks! I was originally coming off mini pill in September but managed to work on DH and now July (more likely end of July). But keep begging to come off now
We are waiting as I have a dissertation (masters) deadline at end of July and also finances!

Hi Gruffalo - like the name btw, don't worry about it being busy, there's plenty of room in the waiting to ttc wagon, grab a cushion and settle in!

Diege, great idea - I've just undone my trousers and ooooohhh the relief. Why didn't I think of that [dunce emoticon]

GOFs = good old f*cks?

I know the standard MN acronyms, but am lost with the TTC acronyms, and can't find them in the list.

What is 2ww?

14dpo = 14 days post-ovulation?

Report
kayzisexpecting · 02/06/2008 22:30

2WW is the 2 week wait after ovulation.

You have got 14dpo right and GOF right too.

I have a new pregnancy one that is for me really FAF - Fat and Frumpy, thats how I feel today.

Report
CocodeBear · 02/06/2008 22:32

ok, I'm learning!

when TTC do/did you follow the same kind of health rules as you would for pregnancy, eg giving up alcohol, avoiding too much tuna, runny cheese etc etc. I never have in the past, but perhaps I should!

Report
kayzisexpecting · 02/06/2008 22:35

I didn't when I was TTC. I don't think you have to. But some people do.

I think 9 months without some stuff is long enough. Especially Brie and Tuna(not together)

Report
GruffaloSoldier · 02/06/2008 22:38

Kayz you are not FAF, you are KYBW! (Keeping your baby warm!)

Report
kayzisexpecting · 02/06/2008 22:39

Thanks Gruffalo, if I feel FAF at 12 weeks god knows how I will feel nearer December.

Report
GruffaloSoldier · 02/06/2008 22:44

I am feeling FAF and not even expecting

Report
kayzisexpecting · 02/06/2008 22:45

I'm sure you aren't FAF.

I really should go to bed but cant be bothered. I might as well wait up for DH now.

Report
GruffaloSoldier · 02/06/2008 22:50

I am waiting up for my DH too! Can't quite bring myself to move from sofa. DH will be in 11.30, how about yours?

Report
kayzisexpecting · 02/06/2008 22:50

Mine will be in about 11.

Report
GruffaloSoldier · 02/06/2008 22:58

My DH finished work at 10.30 and cycles home. I hate it when he works late shift

Report
kayzisexpecting · 02/06/2008 23:01

I hope its not raining where you are as its been chucking it down here.

DH finishes at 11 and gets a lift home. I hate it too. I much prefer early shifts.
