Right, It has taken ages to catch up.

I go away for 2 days and all hell brake loose!!!!

Congratulations on your BFP Squack and Deige! 2 in 1 day how amazing!!!!!!!

Moos, I def think you're pg! Especially as your "period" came earlier than expected, got to be implantation bleeding.

Happy belated birthday to the 2 of you it was (sorry really can't remember now )

Prams: I like M&P, I am liking the Pliko Pramette at the mo but trying not to think about it too much.

Re big brother, sorry dont watch it, not interested.

Kay sorry you had such a bad night but at least you have the unofficial go ahead for dc3!

Hi everyone else, sorry if I missed something important, was busy getting excited about the BFP's

glaskham · 06/06/2008 12:04

thanks... i wont be needing to buy yours now!! thanks for the offer though!! I'm all exited to collect it now... not just for the dc3 when it makes an appearance but to use for dd...

I will keep an eye out for a matching car seat now so i only need to take the chassis out when we're going somewhere in the car, save some room in the boot!!

I love ebay, cant believe how cheap the pram was, my sister bought a graco travel system for the same price... i prefer mine!!

Right i'm off to do the nursery run and go to my keep fit class... will probs be around this evening, have a nice friday all of you!!

lastboxoftampons · 06/06/2008 12:07

calsworld · 06/06/2008 13:39

Hello all. Meeting dragged on a bit, not feeling very focussed this afternoon . Bit emotional today so fairly sure AF is lurking around the corner, not due till week tomorrow though so at this rate I'll be a gibbering wreck by the time she arrives! At a stretch it could just be tiredness - its been a long week with lots of broken nights since DS' jabs.

His arm is better today and just done really stupid thing and rang nursery to see how he is, they said he's mostly OK but a bit over-sensitive, I know how he feels!! Asked them to give him a cuddle from me .

Ah well, tis the weekend just around the corner so can have lots of lovely cuddles all to myself! .

Right...best do something useful......see you later!!

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 13:55

Does anyone want a ready made 14 month old DS?

Free to a good home.

Since he learnt to walk he has been hell to change. I just changed his nappy and what did he do? Go and bloody poo!!!!
He wont stay still, screams like he is being murdered in the most horrible way imaginable and kicks out, of course its always straight into my stomach when he kicks me. I have no idea what to do as I can't just leave him in a wet or dirty nappy all day.

I really hope he comes round GJ. There is no point waiting forever. Myabe he'll surprise you and suggested you start trying tonight.

lastboxoftampons · 06/06/2008 14:18

Was just at Superdrug and was tempted to buy a PG test, but stopped myself, saying 'You cannot pee on that which you do not have' Very wise words, my friends.

I'll take him kay

Cal sorry your LO is feeling poo Hope all those cuddles will do him well this weekend.

Moosma · 06/06/2008 14:30

I've just caught up and forgotten it all again, and no that's not a sign, I'm always forgetful!

to all.

I tested this morning, BFN of course, will test again on sunday. I've joined FF too so I feel like I'm doing something!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 14:41

Kay, start changing him from the side (bit wierd at first, but you soon get used to it) I still get the odd kick in the belly, but not half as much as I would changing him at the feet end. Also give him anything that will take his mind off what you're doing, the pack of wipes, the sudocrem pot (with lid on!!) or an empty nappy bag (obviously watch like a hawk) normally does the trick, if not anything else that will distract him. I always change DS2 upstairs on his unit thingy, so have odd bits and pieces ready for keeping his hands busy, he currently has a pair of sunglasses (his own ones, soft plasticy kind that won't break), two tubes of cream, a baby soft hair brush, and a dud CD that he likes to see himself in! LOL One of those will normally keep him still long enough for a quick change.

Blardy hell, my neighbours are going away for a couple of weeks (only to her brothers about an hour away, but she thinks it is the equivalent of 5 all in cruise around the Caribean!) ... anyway, she has emptied her fridge/freezer into* mine, so she can turn hers off to save electricity!!!!!! LOL Still a bit gobsmacked, but could hardly say no! LOL

glaskham · 06/06/2008 14:42

got to my keep fit class, all geared up and ready to go, and then no-one turned up, turns out the woman who runs the group is ill!!! someone could have phoned me, they have my number!! anyway, i went for a very long walk, dd fell asleep in her buggy and is still asleep now. so thought i'd steal 30mins on the pc before collecting DS.

glaskham · 06/06/2008 14:44

NJ... what sort of things has she moved into your fridge? is it going to stay fresh? she sounds very odd!!

Geordie! [snigger] I didn't! But I'm sure they think I'm strange in there anyway. I visit the pg test aisle at least 2x a week and just stand there and stare! I've only ever bought one pack of tests and I really don't see the point of POAS lots, although it's TOTALLY tempting! My little mantra helps me to not waste money!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 15:20

I like the Mantra

Fridge - Cheese (that doesn't go off till the day after they are back... "we'll have that on sarnies the day we get back for us tea's") A pack of cheap ham, that goes off before they get back, don't think she minds... and some yoghurts

Freezer - a whole frozen chicken, a pack of pork belly bacon, some of those crappy fish in butter sauce thingies, a tub of mostly eaten ice cream, home made pies of some sort, and something else that I've forgotten!

And she bought the last quarter pint of milk incase we wanted it? LOL Bless her, she is lovely really, just a bit, ermmmmm off her rocker, cute? LOL Her DH stood in background rolling his eyes and shuffling his feet not knowing where to put himself LOL

Moosma · 06/06/2008 15:20

Kayz, can you change him standing up? I haven't changed either of mine lying down since they could stand, it's just not worth the fight!

GJ, good luck for your talk with DP, you'll be jumping off the wagon before you know it!

Think it's Diege in Warrington, we're in Accrington, but nope, don't think it is more expensive than anywhere else. She is a bit of a stickler for things like this, un-plugs absolutely everything at night, sits in the winter with cardi's and coats on instead of turning the heating on etc.

She is lovely though, quite thoughtful (if forceful at times!!) always remembers the boys birthdays, just a bit dotty!

PMSL at they'll call the law Get him drunk I say

Playingthewaitinggame · 06/06/2008 15:34

Right I am off to the pub home now as my boss has just told me to go home as I have worked serious overtime this week.

GJ, I think you're mantra could just as easily apply to me . Good luck with your "talk"!

Enjoy your weekends, probably won't be back on till Monday now.
