For the Sport from Mothercare it's £329.99 for the pushchair plus £65.99 for the doubles kit. £43.95 for the cocoon and about £15 for the rain cover I think.

kayzisexpecting · 05/06/2008 21:00

I think that £389 is about the cheapest I have found it.

Moosma · 05/06/2008 21:00

Or you can have the Vibe for £449.95 (+ extras) but I've read bad reviews on it and I've gone off it looks-wise too.

UptheSquack · 05/06/2008 21:01

thanks for that Kayz.

I'm having that one then, less than £400 sounds good. Unless the new one is good and I will probably go for that one.

Moos does the new come in grey/black or red/black, or was that 2 different buggies?

Night Diege! I'm going to watch the BB freaks enter the house, but that will likely be all

Moosma · 05/06/2008 21:01

Or you can have my red E3 for £200 and I'll get a new Dash when they come out

Moosma · 05/06/2008 21:02

The Vibe comes in grey/black or red/black, not sure what options the Dash will have.

DD2 is still going

kayzisexpecting · 05/06/2008 21:03

I dont like the Vibe, it doesn't look as nice. The Dash is nice.

UptheSquack · 05/06/2008 21:08

I'm confused. I admit it's easily done tho. There are different buggies Vibe & Dash, is that right?

Moosma · 05/06/2008 21:09

This is the Dash

This is the Vibe

Moosma · 05/06/2008 21:10

Apparently the Vibe is a bit flimsy and 'urban', the Dash is more like the E3/Sport but a bit plusher and with a few improvements.

UptheSquack · 05/06/2008 21:11

Aww! I'm such a wimp Moos. I've tried leaving him to cry, but I fail miserably. He often ends up cuddled into me on the sofa watching tv if he's like that.

It's awful when they're over-tired, they don't know what to do with themselves do they?

Thanks for the donation, very generous. I'm off on Saturday to buy her some Sanctuary products and post them off to her.

UptheSquack · 05/06/2008 21:13

I love the Dash. That's the one for me.

Moosma · 05/06/2008 21:16

Me too but I don't know when it's out. I did read December but I think that might be in America.

She's asleep now I've tried bringing her downstairs before but she just wanders around looking lost and crying. If she's going to cry either way then she might as well be in bed, then I don't have to move her when she finally flops!

EsmeWeatherwax · 05/06/2008 21:22

Hello everyone, or anyone thats left on. Been a stinky day, was really sick earlier, poor dd, has been parented by cbeebies and playhouse disney today.

I've been looking at P&T's too, but then I'm completely pram obsessed! Really fancy the new sport, but if the dash is the upgrade from that I might give it a whirl, assuming I get pg of course!

happynappies · 05/06/2008 21:35

Yay Esme - I need someone to hold my hand!! Half watching BB and half thinking 'can I really give my Summer over to BB?'... I think I'm getting old - have watched every single one, and am scared what I will miss if I don't watch it, but know it will be, as my dh puts it 'drivel' but I love it arghhhhh!!! What a quandry... it looks pretty good so far!

EsmeWeatherwax · 05/06/2008 21:36

Moos, sounds quite hopeful though? Fingers crossed for you anyway.

EsmeWeatherwax · 05/06/2008 21:42

Oh no happy, don't say that! I am very deliberately NOT WATCHING IT this year. Apart from anything else, I can't be arsed arguing with dh all summer. I'm not even looking at it!

Ok, dh is on the phone now, so maybe I am looking at it..lol...

happynappies · 05/06/2008 21:54

I'm going to do what I always do with BB - see how it goes!! If it draws me in this year (again) so be it... it really reminds me of being pg in Summer 2006. Awww... really hope all the testers on the list are going to get BFPs. It is going to be a tough couple of weeks...

Am at work tomorrow so prob won't be around so have a good Friday - catch you all over the weekend [sneaks off to watch BB until dh stops watching Heroes - no wonder ttc is taking us a while, we are always in separate rooms doing separate things!]

calsworld · 05/06/2008 22:28

Hi all, mad busy busy day and too many buggy posts for me. I have a graco travel system and we use it all the time still - its such a trojan and carries all our crap and shopping so well. We also have a silver cross pop for when we go to visit the IL's as it folds up smaller in the boot of our 7 seater Grand Scenic (NJ) which is my company car. I couldn't have the Picasso as it was more expensive and out of my budget (I get an allowance from work to pay for the car). Given the choice without regard to silly work car scheme, I'd probably go for the C4, its got some lovely design features.

DS had his MMR and Hib (?) jabs on Tuesday and yesterday he was scratching the area on his left arm where he had the Hib jab. Tonight his arm is bright red and swollen. Took him to out of hours doctor - who was very rude to DH so DH adopted most pissed off and puffed up agressive bloke stance and then doctor became MUCH nicer!!! - YAY DH - anyway, doctor said he thought it had got as bad as it was likely too and to give him medised. Said it was likely to be an allergic reaction to the fluid that carries the 'medicine' element.

Still trumpy here.

NJ - do you remember you said about having a stuffy nose - can you describe what it was like?

Diege · 06/06/2008 06:45

Morning Where are you all, this is the best part of the day!!
Cals, hope your ds is OK. We had the same allergic reaction (but in the leg, think it was with the earlier jabs)really red, sore and raised. Just to warn you that is may last a good few days, but that it's nothing to worry about .
Going up to a friends house with dds for lunch - an all day thing so won't be on much after mid-morning. Hoping everyone has a good day - thought of you Moos when I woke up at 4 this morning - after such a long cycle there's no way you'd have a light one day af .
Oh and I love the look of BB this year, although I only managed to stay awake till contextant 10 went in!

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 06:49

Fucking Terrible Good Morning.

Some stupid, pathetic idiot(cant think of a word nasty enough) set of a firework right above our flat at 25 to 1. It was the loudest thing I have heard in my life and I thought it was a gas explosion or something like that. Loads of my neighbours had run out of their houses in their pjs as they also thought it was a gas explosion. The police came and said there is nothing they can do as they don't know who did it but they will look into it.

DS woke up briefly but went back to sleep really quickly but I didn't get to sleep until half 2. I was just expecting another one.

Hope everyone else slept well!

UptheSquack · 06/06/2008 06:57

Aww! Kayz that's awful. Bloody idiots!

Cals sympathy for your LO, doesn't sound like you're having much fun either

HN you can be pretty sure of a reliable result at 15dpo. There are verrrry few women with an 16LP.
So if nothing shows up at 14dpo, I would excitedly test the next day.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 07:04

Morning

I am getting this buggy (with the carrycot and it takes the Maxi-cosi Cabriofix seat) And am getting this for DS2, if we need it.

Cal, about the car! Sorry It is only because like I said, I have heard both the grand scenic and scenic driving down the road and a few of them have made a really loud rattling sound, like the exhaust is falling off! My stuffy nose, felt like it was all blocked up, but I could actually breathe through it, still have it a bit, not as bad now. The blocked up feeling was higher up than when you have a cold, it was more in the sinus area, at it's worst across my cheeks under my eyes. I don't know if you have ever had sinus problems, but I have always suffered with them, the whole area felt just like when my sinus' are playing up, but no pain, and I could still breathe. I take it you have a sign?!! (I will reply to that email BTW, at some point today!) And poor DS Good for your DH for standing up to Doc.

Moos, also have my fingers tightly crossed for you young lady, anybody would think you enjoy teasing us?!!!
