Kooky, don't be jealous, when you have had a DH banging on about it for more than 2 weeks every single minute of every single day, on the 'puter every night 'just looking' phoning here there and everywhere on his mob on 0845 numbers that aren't included in his price plan thingy, so even though we are no closer to buying now than we were two weeks ago, it has already cost us about £20, and when you have spent every weekend, and most evenings walking around car showrooms, looking at cars that look like tanks, feel like vans, and are slower than me, but you have no choice but to look at those cars because you need the room, then you can be jealous!!

No hint on the implantation pain, the only physical feelings I had in my belly, were just normal period pains, (though I don't tend to get period pain until literally minutes before it starts, so I knew it wasn't period pain). I have heard others describe it as everything from a bit of a pop, to really hurting.... what are you feeling?

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 05/06/2008 08:29

Oooooh I like that, high but not high,

tinkis30 · 05/06/2008 08:29

we are having lunch out 2

lixanismapolium · 05/06/2008 08:31

So ... for all the experts out there.. I'm 5 days dpo. What are the earliest signs that I could look out for and what's the earliest test I can take - are any of them better than others????

tinkis30 · 05/06/2008 08:36

i had a bubbling tummy around 10dpo and implantation bleed. earliest to test 11dpo

lixanismapolium · 05/06/2008 08:41

Thanks Tink - and happy birthday. Hope you have a great day. 11dpo seems like ages away!!

happynappies · 05/06/2008 08:45

Happy Birthday Tink - hope you have a lovely day, enjoy your shopping and lunch!

Lixi - I'm 5 dpo too. My online guru FF won't let me test until 19dpo... Had BFN last month so I'm keen to wait asap to start testing. Not that I feel particularly positive about this months campaign though...

happynappies · 05/06/2008 08:45

sorry - am keen to wait as long as possible!!

happynappies · 05/06/2008 08:46

Freudian slip

mags98 · 05/06/2008 08:53

Thanks - glad to know I still have a place on the wagon!

To fill in the gaps -

I am 35. 2MC, TTC now.

lixanismapolium · 05/06/2008 09:02

happynappies - that's cool that we're at the same stage. FF says I can test on June 15th. That would be an excellent day to get a BFP - Fathers Day! When was your last AF. Just wondering if our due dates would be the same. Mine was May 21st.

Mine was May 22nd Jealous that FF will let you test earlier!! Father's Day - that would be really great - fingers crossed. It seems a long time until I can think about testing... got to try to distract myself in the meantime... I've got no symptoms at all. Don't know if it is too early but am going to try as hard as I can not to convince myself this month then good news would be a great surprise and a BFN wouldn't knock me so badly.

lixanismapolium · 05/06/2008 09:10

Think it's only letting me test early because I had a freak cycle last mnonth. Have always been a steady 28 days for over 20 years, then last month was only 25 days for some weird reason. I suppose tht means they might be telling me to test a bit too early.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 05/06/2008 09:10

Oh blardy hell, posted new list, and forgot my message!!

Was going to say, my first real sign this time was drinking milk by the pint, I can't stand milk..... (am still doing that y'know, hope it ends soon, that gloopy, gummy feeling it leaves in your mouth is gross!) My first 'maybe' sign was that I just couldn't get the thought that I was pregnant out of my head, I'd gone from thinking along the lines of "when I get pregnant" to "now I'm pregnant" it sounds a bit strange now, but I just knew, and that was from the Tuesday, got BFP on the Friday.

Happy birthday Tink, have a lovely day sweetie I got some good (but bloody annoying) jeans in Next yesterday, they are the type you can roll up for cropped, or keep them long... haven't got the belly pouch thingy though, so have spent all morning pulling them up, and they dig in my belly..... in fact they aren't good at all, don't get them!! LOL

Moosma · 05/06/2008 10:04

Happy birthday to Tink and Star (who we haven't seen for a while)!

AF is most definitely here but is lighter than normal, I'm surprised as I thought I'd be in for a whopper after an 84 day cycle! I wonder how long this one's going to be?

I had a good-ish night's sleep but still feel rotten today, DD1 was sent home from preschool yesterday with conjunctivitis but that's looking better today, although both DDs and me are snot machines!

Kayz that site has some lovely clothes but am a bit at come of the prices! I got most of mine from Dorothy Perkins last time as they are one of the few places that have size 8s.

UptheSquack · 05/06/2008 10:09

Happy Birthday Tink!

I like the thought of a chunky knit wrap, if anyone spots one will you honk me please

5dpo I didn't chart anything at all, nothing to note
6 dpo I was very irritable, marked down mood swings (unusual for me), had a headache all day and started to feel really tired.
7dpo I had backache and the same headache, then my temps went triphasic.

glaskham · 05/06/2008 10:16

Mornign all!! I dont fully know what day of cycle i am on.... but i think i am about 5dpo

We bought a new car yesterday with enough room to fit a 3rd dc in!! it was either a bus with enoguh room for guests in our car aswell as ourselves or one with only enough for us... we went for a 5 seater... DS will be old enoguh for a booster when any dc3 could arrive, even if i got caught this month!!

DH thinks he's still got super sperm and that he'll have got me pregnant this time round... i dont think so, dont think we GOF'd at the right time, and dont feel at all like testing.... though it all may change in a couple of days!!

Moosma · 05/06/2008 10:19

I had a horrid long brown cardigan that had one button just above my bump, it wasn't maternity but did the job. I also had a £3 man's fleece from Sainsburys for wearing at home (DH wears it to the workshop now ) and my waterproof coat zip undoes from the bottom as well as the top so I could still wear it.

I think if I'm going to be big in the winter again I might get a proper maternity coat but maybe from ebay so I don't so much money. Like Nat I don't think I could bring myself to spend £100 on something I'd wear for such a short time.

Oh that reminds me of my favourite quote from SIL (she's a bit of an odd one) "You must wear special maternity trousers, if you wear normal ones you'll cut off the blood supply to the baby!"

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 05/06/2008 10:19

Ooooh what did you get Glaskham? DH is looking at the 5/7 seater Citroen C4's, the Zafira, and he was looking at the Grand Scenics, but think I have managed to talk him out of them! We don't need 7 seats, but we need the boot space that those sort of cars offer, and we need the room to fit two car seats and a booster...

OMG, now I am going on about cars....

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 05/06/2008 10:21

LMAO at cutting off the blood supply, I do agree with her, I don't do the 'just get a size or two bigger' (except for my old coat!!) but not because of the blood supply, because they just don't fit right, and it is hard enough to look good during pregnancy let alone with clothes that don't fit properly.

glaskham · 05/06/2008 10:29

We got a fiat brava. We're going from a BMW to this... its nice thoguh, and was cheap... and will cost us less on fuel and insurance so bonuses all round, and there is enough room for 2 car seats and a booster, which we'll need a baby car seat, a 9mt+ car seat and a booster all at the same time, or later on 2 boosters and a car seat!! All the messing!! But it'll be worth it in the end, and we're saving money which is a massive bonus!!!

When i mentioned to DH abotu sellign the precious BMW he seemed gutted but finding out how much we'll save each month he's over the moon!!

UptheSquack · 05/06/2008 10:36

to Moos SIL.

We are going to have to look for a bus I think.

If the sale of the house next door comes off then we'll go for an old Galaxy I think. We'll have the room we need for pennies and it won't cost anything to fix because Dh's brother is a mechanic.

Buying the house next door will make things a bit tight but should be worth it though.

I think ebay for a coat sounds like a good idea.
