Ei really sorry about the heavy bleed
you need to go to the epu! There is still a chance that beanie has held on tight! How is the bleeding today??

I spent most of last night at the hospital, My eldest boy (8) had bad tummy pains. He had slipped on our 'laminated' floor the previous night and had pains straight away, but still insisted on going to football, then the pains started again tonight when he came home from his friends house. The hospital couldn't find a reason for them, so just got to keep an eye out!
There was a little girl sitting next to me in a&e she had been attacked by a dog (the owner said that the dog was 'good with children' she had teeth marks in her neck, she looked fine but it could have ended a lot worse. I told her she must report it to the police, think the hospital will advie that too!?

Thanks for the lovely words re:my scan
cricri I will keep checking on you to see how your scan goes next week!
sparkly son't understand why you are getting spotting on cd9? Have you 'O' early this month?
big wave to Fruity mollie scully yarnie and anyone else that I have for gotten

Yarnie · 13/06/2008 07:35

How are you doing today Ei? Emmsy Your poor DS! He sounds like a tough cookie to go barrelling off to play football after hurting himself Hope he's feeling better today.

My mum's partner is a doctor and doesn't like dogs much and it's mainly because with every dog bite victim he sees (he does a lot of trauma on-calls) the owner says something along the lines of them being good with children or never having done anything like that before.

I'm 9 DPO and temp a bit higher this morning, which pretty much follows the pattern of my last cycle.

Hope everyone else is ok today. I'm slightly the sun has gone, although I have the last of the unpacking to do today, so at least the sun won't be tormenting me.

Ei am so sorry this has happened to you again Have you booked to see GP ? Maybe worth mentioning the thyroid thing again as your temps do seem to be low. From what I have read the thyroid issue prevents a PG sticking which sounds exactly what is happening - if GP tells you trhere is no connection like last time book to see another one as I have read this loads of times in books and on the internet so am sure this is a factor. You can't go through this sgain {{{big hugs}}}

MollieMooma · 13/06/2008 10:34

Yarnie · 13/06/2008 21:22

That's weird with your OPKs, Piper I have no pearls of wisdom for you, except to wonder whether there's something else keeping your temp down, or whether your OPKs are really positive? Hope someone else can suggest something more definitive.

I haven't been charting for long, but my cycle is 27 days, I think I ovulate on CD13, which would make my LP 14 days, I think.

Here's my chart.

I have been ebaying and freecycling like crazy today. We have so much stuff we need to get rid of and I'm determined that where possible it should all be recycled, sold or given to good homes. Much harder work than just slinging it out

See you all tomorrow

Yarnie · 14/06/2008 06:48

Morning all.

Nice little temp rise from me which looks a little peaky on my chart but which I think is actually normal for me at this time of the cycle. Last cycle I was only using a thermometer which gave readings to 1 decimal place.

Bloody temp readings. Took mine this morning and then couldn't get back to sleep

Hope everyone is well

Morning everyone

Well, we had a lovely day yesterday playing in the park. Sparkly and I went for a look round the shops in High St Ken once the kiddies had tired themselves out and fallen asleep in their buggies

Oh emmsy How's DS doing? still got those tummy pains?

Yarnie sorry for cross posting yesterday morning, it's annoying isn't it! ,
What a lovely chart pattern you have there I hope it stays elevated for you
What are you selling? can you link?

Piper you've gotta come to London! come on missus! Also, I wouldn't trust those OPK thingies, they're not fool proof. Your temp rise is a good enough indication of ovulation. Just keep BDing just in case you ov anytime soon.

I feel all refreshed cos I've slept in an extra 2 hours! How lovely. I took my temp at the normal time and went back to sleep. DS normally wakes soon after but he's only just got up

My temp seems to be following the same sort of pattern as last cycle, Fruity, I'm hoping that means I'll ov again this time and maybe ov at the same time too (which will be in about 3 days time) fingers crossed!

Your day out sounds lovely, Fruity and Sparkly! High Street Ken is my neck of the woods. We could have had a MN flashmob!

Here's a link to my ebay listings. I'll be adding more today. I don't think you could get a more random assortment of goods if you tried!

Glad you have a promising chart, Fruity. Hooray for ovulation!

SparklyPiliPala · 14/06/2008 09:16

Morning all.
I'm off to London Zoo today. No temp to post...DD woke me up at 5 so didn't bother and don't think I packed BBT.
Piper Lots of eggs for you this month, lol.
Yarnie Chart is looking lovely. Hope your temp stays high.
Emmsy Sorry about DS. Hope he's better.
Fruity Hello nearly birthday girl.

I'll catch up with everyone else when I get the chance later. xxx

FruitynNutty · 14/06/2008 09:17

Really yarnie? you live near high st ken? Where abouts? I wish we'd have known, we could have met up! I used to live in Fulham with my mum but moved to Merton with DP and DS a year an a half ago You're right about the random assortment lol!

Yarnie · 14/06/2008 09:21

Fruity I live in North Kensington now near Ladbroke Grove. Before that I lived just behind High Street Ken and then in Notting Hill. Gradually moved further north to get more space! When I first moved to London I lived in Wimbledon Village which is not far from where you are now.

FruitynNutty · 14/06/2008 09:48

Wow, Wimbledon village I'd love to be able to live there! We're having DS's birthday party at Cannizaro Park. I love Wimbedon Village. I'm in South Wimbledon/Colliers Wood.
Just had a nosy at your profile, we're the same age too, what school did you go to?

OP posts:
Yarnie · 14/06/2008 10:12

Fruity My two friends and I found this gorgeous flat on the Ridgway in the Village for the bargain price of £100 a week each. I loved living there! Although all the beautiful shops tormented me because I couldn't afford to shop in them (still can't!)

I only moved to London 8 years ago, so didn't go to school in London. I went to a comp in Surrey.

Yarnie · 14/06/2008 10:14

Oh, and I love Cannizaro Park! I went there nearly every weekend for a walk. What a nice place to celebrate a birthday!

FruitynNutty · 14/06/2008 10:23

What a bargain yarnie! I wonder if you can still get a place there for that! I only discovered Cannizaro park a couple of weeks ago at a mindee's birthday party. I couldn't believe no one told me about it before! It's gorgeous I love living in Merton, so much to do for the kids. Really child friendly area. Notting Hill is rather gorgeous too! Do you want to adopt me?
