Had to laugh at your dp Fruity, don't know how he kept drinking, but to then think he was going to get jiggy, hilarious
Hoping it's all our months Ei A friend in Surrey had a baby girl last Friday, photos are gorgeous, made me very envious and I have 2 dd's already fgs Don't want to be greedy but one more dc would just be lovely.
How nice to hear the heartbeat Mibbes, you should hear that every appt now. Braxton hicks already Emmsy, I don't remember having them that early, but maybe it gets earlier with each baby? You must feel tired at the end of every day, with 4 children to look after, hope you get a little bit of 'me' time every now and then.

SparklyPiliPala · 21/06/2008 11:50

Hi ladies,
I'm still in bed....I think I OV'd on CD16 because I had a strong +OPK on CD15 and my temp shifted yday morning. I normally ov on CD16.
Fruity I have a huge fever of puking too and have only ever been sick twice. I'm so inexperienced at it that I managed to get it in my eyes...which prob was a good thing because they burned so much that I couldn't think about what was going on. I don't know where I've caught it from. I'm hoping for sunshine for C's party tomorrow.
Mollie The sofa seems so far away but I'd love to watch some crap tele whilst resting there. We don't have a TV in our bedroom.

FruitynNutty · 22/06/2008 07:44

Morning ladies,
Sparkly how are you feeling this morning?

So typical, it's a GLORIOUS day and I've already cancelled the party at the park We are having it at our place instead but it seems such a shame cos it would've been so lovely at the park. Ah, well. If I hadn't changed plans it would have peed down with rain wouldn't it.

Sparkly Glad to hear your better hun
Morning to everyone else

scully · 22/06/2008 09:40

How did the party go Fruity? dd1 had her school fete/carnival today, I was also hoping for sunshine and we had brilliant weather. Both dd's had a great time and I think most of the adults did too
Just did an opk and it was negative. Shall do one a day to see when I get a positive, even if we can't try this month, I want to know when I ovulated to get an idea of my cycle.
Hope you're feeling better Sparkly, nothing worse than throwing up and not getting to the loo in time You can't have had too many hangovers to have only been sick twice

MollieMooma · 22/06/2008 09:49

Sparkly I hope we are going to hold hands on the 2WW?
Scully How you doing? Bet your so fed up of all this waiting?

scully · 22/06/2008 09:58

Hiya Mollie, I'm ok, how are you? Yes, a bit fed up with all this now, has been a carryon since mid-March but can see light at the end of the tunnel, hopefully Spent the day with a friend who is due in Sep with no4, very keen to have a big belly like hers, soon

MollieMooma · 22/06/2008 10:15

Scully Here's hoping the next couple of weeks fly by for you so you can get on with things
I'm not too bad thanks, starting counselling in July, I was referred way back just after the m/c but didn't hear anything for ages. I was going to cancel, but as I thought I'd be pg by the EDD in August and it hasn't happened, I can feel things building up again so think the timing might be just right! On the 2WW at the moment, so you never know might be able to cancel the appt before I get to July (lol at my optimism!)
Here's to big bellies for all of us!

mibbes · 22/06/2008 19:13

Fruity it was a train - what does that mean ?
Emmsy Braxton Hicks already ! My friend had them from 24 weeks and delivered a wee boy on her due date 3 weeks ago ! Another friend has offered to lend me her monitor even though she never managed to pick anything up on it, given how long it took the MW I won't bother trying as I'll just worry myself
Yarnie good luck
Ei yes that was the first time I heard the HB - it was fab !
Sparkly poor you being ill - sounds rubbish, did you eat something dodgy ? Hope you are feeling better xx Not feeling any movement yet - the odd twinge here and there but pretty sure it is wind or my belly rumbling - not really sure what to look for but no 'butterfly' type feelings as yet.
Mollie yes scan is 4 weeks tomorrow - not going to find out sex as want a suprise !
scully couldn't agree more - i was to read that Sparkly had only been sick twice - I have been sick a LOT due to hangovers - that is one thing I don't miss !

Yarnie · 22/06/2008 20:28

Gosh! A busy weekend and it looks like I have a bit to catch up on! Fruity, like you, we ended up aborting the outside plans for today, so instead of a bbq we had a roast! Of course, the weather was glorious, if a little blowy. We managed to eat our dessert outside and have a natter in the garden, so it was still a nice day. How did your DS' party go, Fruity? Sparkly Hope you're feeling better this evening. Glad FF confirmed ov for you. How long is your cycle usually?

Mollie How's your 2ww going? Any symptoms?

Scully Glad to hear you're using your month to "information gather", even if you can't ttc.

Hi all.
Feeling much better this evening.
Fruity How did it go? Hope C had a fab day.
Scully I am very strong stomached and often think that I get worse hangovers because I don't throw up.
Mollie Do you know if your 2ww has started yet? I could do with some company. If it has, how many DPO are you?
Mibbes The GP who lives next door suspects food poisioning. I went out with dinner with DP and we ate the same thing and then I was ill 6 hours later but he wasn't...could have been a bug but I'm glad it's leaving now. I wasn't sure if I was feeling DD's movements or whether it was wind..in a few weeks it will be very obvious. They say a train heartbeat is a boy but I'm not sure how much truth there is in it.
Yarnie My cycle length varies but has been quite regular in the last few months. I will be expecting AF on CD30/31. Glad you had a nice day.

MollieMooma · 22/06/2008 21:37

Yarnie Glad you had a good day after, our weather has been the same really nice but very windy, as soon as I put 2 loads of washing out though the bloody wind stopped
Sparkly I think I ov'd CD15/16 but really not sure this month as I kept getting faint lines, then no lines then stronger lines so let's pick a day....I reckon I'm 3 DPO, added to the stats and officially on 2WW with you

The lowest temp since I started recording today. Interestingly, I was very sleepy, too. I wonder if there's any correlation, as I should feel well-slept. I find all this temp business very interesting - it must be the geek in me

I was delighted to discover today that I got a distinction for my course. 90 whole percent I've never got such a high mark before. I hope it bodes well for my new career.

I have my fingers crossed for you ladies on the 2ww. Keep us appraised of any symptoms!

Hopefully your strong stomach will come in handy for morning sickness soon Sparkly
I never missed drinking when I was pregnant, good thing the hormones seem to sort that part out
Very proud today, dd1 was student of the week for her class, for her improvements with reading. & I actually made it to assembly to see her get her certificate
Another gorgeous winter day here, around 22deg, blue skies, 10deg min though, so chilly for here at 6.30am when we're thinking of getting up
Did another opk today and nothing yet.
Trying to plan a surprise for dh and get someone in to do some painting whilst he is away for a few days. Only thing the bloody painter doesn't ring at the times I've asked, or on mobile. So of course dh has answered the home phone twice to him, saying we haven't asked for anything painting quotes
Very frustrating

No symptoms from me, what about you Sparkly? Mind you it's the last thing I'm thinking about at the moment. You may remember I had problems with my bathroom, well I'm still waiting for the walls to be skimmed, the basin and shower to be fitted but I can cope with that, what I can't cope with is getting home from work last night to a flooded kitchen Water has come through the ceiling, through one of the electric sockets and the light, lifted my floor and laminate worktops and generally messed everything up! What a nightmare, I am so fed up, I still don't have a working washing machine, that's been 3 weeks waiting for the repair guy to come back off his sodding holiday! No water, so spent the night at my Mum's last night, have come to work this morning to tell them that will have to arrange my afternoons appointments so I can go home for the plumber, they're not happy but tough! Thanks for reading my rant, feel a little better now.
EI Hi, what a fantastic surprise for you, I could do with a friend like that!
to everyone else x

FruitynNutty · 24/06/2008 09:08

Morning ladies,

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. Desperately trying to find a new credit card to transfer to. Every time I find one, the website plays up or they charge interest on the amount I want when it's advertised as 0%

Yarnie Shame about your BBQ, I'm sure the roast was just as nice - A little more washing up to do though eh?
Wow! Radiohead! How exciting I bet you can't wait.
Is it gig season then? Ei going to see Bon Jovi and yarnie off to Radio head. I'm very jealous

Ei The party went really well thanks Took me ages to clear up though. Even after uninviting people we still had 9 kids plus their parents plus my mum and DP's Aunty and my pregnant friend. It's amazing how many human being you can fit in a tiny flat and garden.

Scully Congratulations to your daughter I hope you get to sort that decorator out!

Sparkly, Mollie How are you today? Any symptom spotting yet?

Piper Oooh, 11 DPO for you lady Come on, give us those symptoms!

I'm so tired and at DP. He came home drunk at 4.30am having driven home I'm so angry I can't look at him. He's an irresponsible tw*t . I thought he would have learnt his lesson last time when he wrote the car off Luckily no one was involved, just a fence and a lamp post.
I can't believe he would do it again. It seems as though if I feel so strongly against something, it gives him the ticket to go against my feelings.
Someone please remind me why I'm getting married to him?
I can't begin to imagine what could have happened He makes me feel sick with rage.

To top it off, Ive just found out one of my mindees is dropping another day with me. He was originally 5 days a week, dropped to 3 days now they only need 2 days We're struggling so much right now. I don't know how on earth we can carry on. My after school mindee's mum is gong on maternity leave soon so I'm sure she wont need me to have her DD after school so that's even more money gone.
It looks like we'll have to sell up and move back in with my mum at this rate
It's fcking sht
I can't believe we've moved to the one area in London which has too many childminders and not enough children

My temp probably needs to be discarded after this morning's shenanigans.
I don't know why I bother temping anyway
