Hope it’s not too early to start this! For anyone trying in May, and “out” for April.

By some miracle I did fall pregnant this month after over a year TTC but it ended in a chemical just before 5 weeks. I’d tried some new things last cycle (inc baby aspirin and L’arginine, using preseed and doing a daily morning walk!) so going to try all of that again this month and keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 don’t know when I’ll ovulate yet but I imagine it’ll be right at the end of April…

@Iris2024i know how you feel always feel the same and symptom spotting even though I’m probably only 3-4dpo really hope this is our month 🤞🏻✨🤍

@Iris2024this is ttc cycle 3 so I know it’s still early days compared to others but had a chemical pregnancy ttc cycle 1 and now I just want it to work even more if that makes sense 😭 what about you? 🤍

I'm also 4dpo today and already trying to symptom spot (I don't know what for as I literally have no symptoms!!) I was also planning on starting to test at 10dpo

I do 9dpo because I can’t wait any longer 🤣 I do try and wait it out but I struggle

I hate this bit of the cycle - before ovulation when I have no real idea of when to expect that peak - currently CD13, when usually my ov day is around CD15 or 16, but last cycle was playing proper silly buggers and I got a peak on CD6(!!) so I feel like I've been doing those OPKs forever, as I started early this time in case that weirdness was repeated. But if it is CD15 or 16, that means my fertile period will be mid week when I'm knackered (rather than over the bank holiday when we got a lot of action in 🙄). I'm just so bored of all of this, plus bitter that March didn't work out, when for two sweet weeks it looked like the tedium of 3 years TTC was finally over.

@BGxxx 🤣🤣 10dpo will be Monday next week, cant see myself getting through a weekend at home without testing

We had 6 months last year - January to June
and this is now cycle 2 getting back to it. Just want TTC to be over 🥹

@curliegirlie im cd14 so we’re close! I didn’t ovulate till day 21 last month but this cycle it’s looking like it’ll be earlier so I’m keeping my fingers crossed, I don’t seem to have success when I ovulate late

@ThisZippyViewer youll definitely have to treat yourself to a test over the weekend 🤣

Also so sorry about your chemical, I’ve had one before and it’s so hard to understand and accept ❤️

What tests does everyone buy? I’ve bought some cheapies from Tesco but then looked at the reviews and they look rubbish!!

@FlyHighSky72 i also have the easy@home cheapies but have one weeks indicator digital just in case 😂

@FlyHighSky72 i love clearblue but if you're a serial tester like me it can become quite pricey 😂

@FlyHighSky72 @Iris2024 I get how you are feeling as I am also older at 40 but trying to stay positive.

@ThisZippyViewer I try to wait past 10dpo. I actually tested negative at 10pdo with my son and then when AF never showed and I felt a little off I tested and was a blazing BFP. This is first proper cycle ttc #3 and will be trying to wait until after 10dpo but I know it's hard.

@FlyHighSky72 do you always have an 11 day luteal phase?

@Bumblebee1984i don’t know - this is my first month and first using OPKs! Do you?

@FlyHighSky72 what makes you think your due AF 11dpo? Luteal phase is commonly around 12-14 days so you might not be due until a few days after that? Fingers crossed you don't actually get to find out though and you get your BFP. Where are you in your cycle now?

I usually wouldn’t keep tests in the house because I have absolutely zero willpower to resist early testing if they’re in the house and it does make me spiral. It was my husband that brought this pack of first response on his own hunch we’d got lucky this month. So let’s blame him 🤣 I always have a CB weeks indicator. But I’d never use it until I was late for AF. If I WAS to indulge myself (I think I might do if this cycle doesn’t stick) with consistent early testing then I’d use easy @ home!
